The scale started to vibrate, all the people in the room stared at it waiting to see which is heavier, the demon scale went down for a bit making the elves nervous but Ferris didn't care since he knew he was human of course. The scale finally shifted to the feather proving that he is human, the elder gave a signal for the guards to back off.

"What a relief, I heard the report of you slaying a giant type demon with ease i thought you were a human monster or something hah"

A soldier kicked the door open from the outside, he looked terrified as if he saw a nightmare he was familiar with.

"E..Elder that demon he is back"

"You know what to do, protect this tree at all cost"

"Yes of course"

Ferris heard multiple explosions from the outside, he even felt noticeable vibrations form where he is kneeling.

(A demon attack, maybe I can help)

"Hey elf guy now that you know I'm a human why don't you get me out of these chains"

"Hey for a mere human like you to casually talk to our elder like that, shame on yo-"

"If you can do it then go young one but its not easy"

"But Elder he is a human why do we need help from hi-"

"Silence do you have any idea how much I've been enduring for the past 600 years?"

The elf soldier backed off from hearing the Elder's words. When Ferris heard that he is allowed to fight he used his strength to instantly break of from his chains.

"Im off then"

He quickly went outside to take a look of the current situation of the town so far only a few building were destroyed. A flying humanoid demon was above the entire town, he was screaming but Ferris wasn't able to hear it from the bottom.

[HAHAHA its been 607 years! Still you can't stop me hahahaha]

Ferris was looking at him from below he looked confused of what he was saying, but he was sure that the demon's magic aura was that of an archdemon but his power is a little higher than the archdemon he fought back then.

(Huh this is my first time fighting a demon without using any surprise attacks can i win? How can i get up there? His way high up there but i can't waste anymore time, and he keeps firing fireballs from his mouth Maybe if I)

He released a specific amount of magic aura enough to show a real threat to the demon, it didn't took the demon much time to sense it.

[Ohh? Thats interesting but]

Ferris expected him to slowly descend but instead.

The demon teleported... no suddenly went down to the ground with insane speed.

[Let me guess, your thinking that I'm an archdemon right? Heh that's where your wrong kid that aura of mine you sensed was just a tiny piece of my true power]
