Elf Town 3 [24]
The demon looked closely with his eyes to see his face but he didn't expect that he was actually a human.
[Huuh!? A human i thought you were an elf or something, i guess those elves were desperate]

While he was busy talking Ferris threw a smoke bomb he bought from the system's store right at his face without a second thought, while the demon was temporarily stunned he took his chance to run and think of a plan to fight him.
[the hell!? Cheap trick come back here bastard!]
After the smoke finally cleared he began looking for that bastard human.
[(When i see him I'm ganna kill him on the spot, no mercy!)]

Ferris was running away for now, he noticed a sudden burst of magic energy on the same place as that demon, he started to have some second thoughts when he threw that smoke bomb at him.
(Damn he is really pissed, I have to think of a plan that doesn't involve me getting brutally killed by that guy)

He heard another explosion coming from the same area.
(What was that just now?)
He looked at the direction where the explosion came from but he noticed two magical presence although one of the magical presence was slowly fading away.
(Damn it.. whatever)
Even though he knew that he would die if he were to fight the demon but he turned back around to lend a hand. As he was getting closer to the area he noticed that the elf who cuffed him was the one that was about to die.
(What is he doing? he'll die if he tries to fight him)

The dark blade successfully hit him but the damage wasn't much to him.
[Oh? came back for death i see]
The elf who is almost dying was forcefully thrown away like a ragdoll.

"Hey! don't just throw him away like that" Ferris says

"Hey dad whats that big tree over there" a little elf said
"Ahh that tree? Well its like a tree of life, it generates a magic barrier that protects our town and keeps the dangerous monsters at bay"
"What happen if the tree gets cut down?"
"Hehe what are you talking about? This tree has been standing strong for 3954 years my boy it won't get chopped down like that"
Well good things come to an end, when another war started.
[Hahaha! Fools you think this small tree can stop me?]
The same demon Ferris ran away from fired a fireball at the tree, when the army of the elves came they fought back the demon and made it fly away although all the leaves and most of the trunk got burned away from the fireball.
"No!"
"Our tree!"
"Who will protect us now?"
"With no magic barrier to protect us, what will happen to the village?"
"Dad you lied! i thought the tree was invincible!"
The boy threw some punches at him but his father didn't move and he just simply hugged him.
"Im sorry i lied son"
Even after the war ended, some of the surviving demons attacked the unprotected elf village and everyday was almost hell for them, no one was brave enough to fight back, they even had to request help from the humans which damaged their pride as elves.
The boy who had lost everything during and after the war decided to become an elf that will protect all of his friends, it was a childish dream but he was determined.
"Not yet" the elf mumbled
A sudden burst of magic suddenly came out of nowhere but something was different about his mana, it wasn't ordinary magic.
(This is... Spirit magic?) Ferris said
The elf slowly raised himself from the ground and picked up his two daggers.
[Ooh? The spirits eh? Great another interesting one, and its an elf too. Tell you what, after i kill you ill burn that ugly tree and kill everyone here in this town]
""!"Bastardd! Go back to hell!" the efl shouted
(damn, he can still go at it) Ferris said
The elf's aura was suddenly stronger than before, Ferris saw that it was about two times stronger but it kept increasing even further.
[Heh.. now that's something]
The elf dashed forward with even greater speed than before.

The elf wasn't done yet though he grabbed the demon's neck and he wrapped it to choke him.
[Heh your still weak!]
Although he gained a power up from a spirit, it wasn't enough to overpower the demon though.
For a second the demon got attacked Ferris.
[shit, that guy again]

It was not a deep cut although it was deep enough to do some damage but Ferris wasn't done yet with his attacks. He proceeded to slice his back legs with a high grade dagger from the system store.
[You think i can go down like this!]
The demon went full power, even the magical blast knocked both of them away from him.
[That's it, no more games]
(he's strong but)
He grabbed a glowing stone from his pockets.
(I don't know why this thing exist but if its in the store then its fair enough for me!)

(Alright, i feel my power has been doubled but i only have 10 minutes of this buff)
It was the same for the elf too, although he was knocked away to the tree again he wasn't finish yet. At the same time both of them dashed towards him with their weapons faced to the demon's head

He easily blocked the 3 swords♤elf boi has duel daggers k♧with his two hands but holding those swords were a pain for him so he let go. The teamwork was enough to beat the demon down, it was hard fought but the still won.

Ferris bought high grade potions from the store although it cost a lot of gold coins he had to buy some in order to stay alive.

By time their wounds somewhat healed but it was healed enough to enable them to stand up. After waiting for a few minutes help finally came.
