The Blacksmith Daughter

Debora Pollard began having the four girls brought by Darwin taking a bath.

They were being assisted by the other girls who work in the brothel and those girls shared the same expression of pity.

Debora was there watching carefully taking note on which four of the girls would last, try to escape or cause trouble for herself.

So far, she believes one of the human girls was last in this line of work, the other one seems to secard that the girl will not last long in the brothel.

There the elf girl Debora has a strong feeling she will try to escape and doing that will caste her life.

Last was the demi-human girl, she seems to be troubled which means nothing good is going to come to her if she does act that way.

Debora let out a deep sigh then began speaking to them.

"As you should know already you girls have been brought to work here in this brothel which is owned by Darwin Bradford who is by the way your boss."

"He is no boss of mine!." the demi-human girl yelled out.

"Sadly it is the truth whether you like it or not. The man has paid good money for you girls. That means he is your boss and there is nothing you can do about it."

"You think so, I bet there is something, I can do about it."

"Very well try it then and let it caste you, your life." Debora said with a tone cold as ice.

That demi-human girl didn't say a word back instead became angry and silent Debora saw which meant for her to continue talking.

"Now as I was saying the man is your boss and what you do is don't do anything to displease the boss, just do your job here that is all."

Debora warns the girl as she and the other working girls have known what happens when you make the boss unhappy.

"Tonight your job starts since you are new, you girls will be taking it slow out there, so after your bath next you girl will get pretty up to your best of your abilities for the man that will come."

The girl didn't like that and Debora can understand.

"I know that you don't like this life, but you can be strong and live through it or fall to the point of never getting back up."

Debora tells them as those girls listen, now it's up to them and their own choices to make in the brothel.

Back at the blacksmith Loren and Diloar SwordCarver have waited for hours inside the shop.

"Who's next." the blacksmith called out as it was only those two left.

"Oh finally." Loren said even though he is good at waiting there are limits.

They both walk up to a man who has beady gold eyes. His fine, straight, medium-length hair is the color of milk chocolate, and is worn in a simple style.

He has a masculine build with a deeply-tanned skin.

"So what do you two want." the blacksmith asked.

Loren began informing the blacksmith what he wants as that is 21 full plated armors, swords and shields.

He did the math when the village Loren and King Garland there were about 30 people.

There were 9 children, 13 adults and 8 oldly Loren kept the adults and oldly together where he allowed the children to stay zombies.

Thought it would be a good idea to have those little ones running around outside from the cave to be like guard dogs to alert and kill any intruders.

"Interesting this request of yours, I can do it yet it's going to take some time because your order is not the only one that needs my attention."

"I am a person who can wait, but tell me are you working this place alone you have someone to assist you."

Loren notices that the blacksmith expression changes into one of hostility when he asks that.

"Yes, I have someone to help me with the orders and that's all you are getting."

Diloar SwordCarver didn't like that man's tone towards Loren and the blacksmith noticed, but soon ignored him.

"I understand well when you get my order and it is done to inform my dear friend here as he will keep an eye out for me."

"Yeah sure whatever, now are you done because I got orders that need to be worked on here in this shop."

"Of course, I will leave so that you get to work on it."

Loren and his friend Diloar SwordCarver left the blacksmith shop, once they were gone the man goes to the back where forge is along with other things that help him create what his customers ask for.

It was already steaming hot in there as the forge was already being used by someone.

"How are you holding up." the blacksmith asks the person using the forge.

That person stops hummaning on the burning metal and sweeps away the sweats off the forehead.

"I am doing fine father nothing I can handle here."

"Hahaha that right you can Sonya as you're the daughter of a blacksmith."

"That is my father, so tell me that everyone today." she asks while resuming back to hummaning.

"Yeah just one last person who requested a few armors, swords and shields."

He tells her while grabbing a spear hummer and gets to work alongside Sonya.

"Wow what would a person like that need things like that."

"I don't know and don't ask just do what I am good at and get paid for it. Yet I have a feeling that a young man is planning something either good or bad."

"What do you mean." Sonya asked.

The man was silent for a moment then spoke.

"Nah it nother dear just an old man thinking too much."

"Oh come on dad, you're not that old, I am sure there are nice women out there that would love to have a man like you."

"I know, but the only woman I ever love is your mother."

Sonya can hear the small sadness after her father said that, she knows that he loves her mother a lot and misses her a lot.

"I know dad, I love her too." she said and the two of them work in silence.

Back outside the streets Loren and Diloar SwordCarver walk as it was now the afternoon.

"That man was interesting. Did you see the way he reacted when I asked him about having assistants? It was like the man was hiding something and wanted to know one to know."

"It is probably about his daughter, she is not normal or to say the girls are different."

Hearing that from his friend Diloar SwordCarver grabs Loren's attention.

"What do you know my friend."

"Well when I was looking for a blacksmith for you, I was able to learn a little about the man and his daughter that most people don't get to see a lot of or talk to."

"And why is that."

"It's because she's an Orc." Diloar SwordCarver tells Loren.

That caught Loren off guard as he did not expect that.

"An Orc you say could the girl be adopted or the father somehow was able to sleep was an Orc female yet depends how."

"Willing or by force." Diloar SwordCarver asked.

"Yes, those are the only two way a hybrid Orc can be born, usually by the male Orcs that create them when they capture females or if a female Orc is captured by another race that female shears the same fate and treatment."

"This world is cruel and cold."

Loren heard that and his friend is right this world is not such a happy place for any living being that is why he decided to rule and protect the world he lives in.

"Thank you my friend for that nice little information, now I must say goodbye as I have to take care of that problem back at the castle."

"You mean Angelina, I hope you keep in mind brother to what I said."

Loren went silent for a minute then faced him.

"Yes I will keep in mind what we talk about as this path, I walk will alway be painful never to bring any happiness to me."
