Enter the game (part 4)

"Log in!" as he said that, the originally greyed out icon suddenly lit up. He immediately clicked on the icon. His world went dark for an instant and he was teleported to a dilapidated village.

[Ding! Login successful!]

Seeing this system message, Haru started looking around. As he was observing his surroundings, a figure appeared in his field of view.

"There must be quests in this village. However, I can't accept them at the moment!" Seeing the sea of people already entering the village, Haru decided that accepting quests would take too long.

Instead, he felt that venturing out the village to hunt monsters would be more efficient. Anyways, after 2 or so hours, the crowd of people would have to mostly disperse.

After thinking for a while, Haru exited the Beginner's Village. Only then did he decide to check his inventory. Upon checking, apart from a Beginner's Bow, a beginner's Quiver and Beginner's Leather Armor, there was nothing else.

[Beginner's Bow: Range Attack 0-2]

[Beginner's Leather Armor: Defense 2-4]

[Beginner's Quiver: Beginner's Arrows Held: Unlimited]

Seeing the equipment in front of him, Haru couldn't resist giving a helpless laugh before equipping them. After doing so, he proceeded to check his stats.

[Player: Easily Angered Wookworm]

AGI: 4

[Skills: Basic Shoot]

A smile appeared on Haru's face as he started walking further and further away from the village. He bypassed the Level 1 Snow Rabbits and Level 2 Sheep, instead opting to head directly towards the level 3 and 4 monsters.

This is what makes a professional different from the normal players or the professionals who can play for nearly 24 hours, He can fight monsters and peoples higher level than him, of course, this thing won't work against the pro Gamers. Not Yet though

(This thing also won't work against the gamers who played for 10 or so years, before Reincarnating again, with an eidetic perfect memory, Only God knows how they do that, I Mean If I am reincarnated, I sure as hell can't remember anything 10 years before.)

[Wildcat. Level 3. HP: 100!]

The rest of its stats did not pop up. However, Haru knew that if he took it head-on, he'd likely get sent back to the beginners' village.

He took an arrow, and aim

Afterward, the Wildcat emitted a shrill cry and pounced towards Haru.

He quickly took out three arrows and shot them at the same time...

[You have Performed an incredible Feat]

[Your understanding of archery, the bow, and arrows is higher than your ability.]

[An ability correction will be applied to the hidden compensation.]

[The normal skill 'Bow Mastery' has been acquired.]

[Bow Mastery]

Beginner: Lv.1

You can handle all types of bows.

When equipped with a bow, attack power, and hit rate will increase by 4%, and the probability of a critical hit will increase in proportion to agility.

Current Critical Hit Probability Increase: 1%.

Following this message, Haru was awarded 50 experience and his exp bar surged upward.

"To reach level 2, I need 200 exp. In other words, I only need to kill another 3 of these monsters!"

Haru knew that this absurd amount of experience he was getting was due to farming above his level.

If he was already level 3, then these monsters would only give out around 20 points.

Moving forward, he repeated the process on another Wildcat not far away. Haru just nocked 3 Arrows at the same time, and all hit the Bullseye

With the 4% increment in attack power, it was easy this time round

"The first monster didn't drop anything, but the second one dropped 3 copper. Even with the level gap, The Spirit of Grief's drop rates is so low!" Haru sat down after picking up the coins. Jumping levels to kill monsters came at a price. After killing the two monsters, his hidden stat Stamina was already empty. Luckily, he was still level 1 so his stamina wasn't high. After sitting for a brief minute, it had completely recovered.

Upon recovering, Haru once again proceeded to slay two more Wildcats. When he was finished, a flash of golden light shone above him indicating that Haru reached level 2.

[Level Up]

[Level 2]

[5 Stats Freely Given]

[Bow Mastery]

[Level 2]

You can handle all types of bows.

When equipped with a bow, attack power, and hit rate will increase by 4%, and the probability of a critical hit will increase in proportion to agility.

Current Critical Hit Probability Increase: 2%.

"En? This is?" Shortly after, an extremely large Wildcat appeared in Haru's view. Furrowing his brows, he realized that it should be a leader-level monster.

"Should I fight or escape?" Haru asked himself while observing the monster ahead. Although it was only a Leader-level monster, worse than even Elite monsters, it should still drop something good!!

Haru took a look at his status. After leveling up, his stats had increased slightly. Moreover, after leveling up. After contemplating for a second, Haru concluded that he should be able to take that monster on.

[5 Stat Points Invest In Agility]

[Confirm: Yes/No]

"Confirm"

"For riches and honor!" Steeling his resolve, he took a breath and launched a Shot at the Wildcat Boss.

[Critical!]

[The weak spot has been successfully attacked!]

[-10]

"Wow, and this is a critical attack? well, the damage is still decent!", Seeing the damage output, Haru couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. The HP of this monster was 120, only 20 points higher than the regular Wildcats. While it's defense was a bit higher, it still wasn't enough to block all the damage.

The Apex Wildcat turned and charged towards Haru. Despite this, Haru kept himself calm and unhurried, launching an Arrow at the monster's eyes. This time, however, despite a Critical [-7] appearing, the Wildcat didn't seem to become blind.

The Wildcat reached Haru, it's two claws swiping towards him.

Seeing the incoming claws, Haru sidestepped, Good thing he knows how to spend his stats points or things would have gone hectic, Haru avoided its assault and counter with an arrow. This shot seemed to be more effective than the last as the Wildcat let out a howl.

"Wanting to scratch me, that won't be so easy!" Haru escaped behind the Wildcat while homing another arrow, after launching, he once again escaped to the right.

When the Apex Wildcat turned to face Haru, Haru had already run off to another direction, launching yet another Three Arrows at its body.

*Peng

Facing these repeated attacks, the Apex Wildcat's HP quickly started to decrease. In spite of this, Haru didn't get a single scratch on his body, not a single scratch.

That's the magic Micheal and Zara worked on him.

As the final arrow hit the Wildcat's head

[Critical!]

[The weak spot has been successfully attacked!]

[-15]

Apex Wildcat was finally taken down! Before falling, the monster let out a final, unwilling howl.

"Whoosh!" once more, a golden light appeared above Haru as he reached level 3.
