The Boy who once chased the winds

As the Wildcat Leader fell, Haru finally let out a breath of relief. When he looked at the corpse of the Wildcat, his eyes lit up. He discovered that it dropped two pieces of equipment and a silver coin

[Feline Dagger]

[Required Level: 5]

[Attack: 10-14]

Looking at this piece of equipment, Haru couldn't help but take a deep breath. A piece of green equipment!! Even the worst green items, in the early game, were extremely valuable. At the very least, it could be sold for a couple of thousand RMB. It seemed that his luck wasn't bad.

[Wildcat Hide]

[Physical Defence: 5-9]

[Magical Defence: 1-3]

Although this was only a white item, it was still better than what he has right now. Haru immediately equipped it.

"I'm finally level 3. Let's venture deeper to kill more monsters!"

[5 Stat Points Invest In Agility]

[Confirm: Yes/No]

"Confirm"

When he killed this Wildcat Leader, Haru had received more experience than from killing a level 6 monster. By just killing a single monster, he had managed to reach level 3.

As he walked deeper into the forest, Haru quickly ran into level 5 Wild Dogs.

[Wild Dogs. Level 3. HP: 180]

He took an arrow, and aim

Facing these monsters, he once again resumed his previous method of attacking and launched arrows after arrows.

Agility not only effect his moving speed but his hand speed as well, now he was much much faster than before.

Haru suddenly let out a cheerful laugh. Haru no longer feared these monsters.

"Howl!" The Wild Dog let out a shriek and pounced towards Haru. Just like with the Wildcats, he remained unfazed. After launching yet another arrow, he retreated two steps and regained the distance between them. He then proceeded to launch yet another Arrow.

Haru alternated between retreating and attacking. He did not even allow the Wild Dog to touch him.

Rain taught him all about positioning, on how to position yourself onto the best positions, and with his training with Micheal, he was able to dodge nearly everything the monster threw at him.

It died shortly after. He picked up the few copper coins that dropped from the monster, then proceeded further into the forest. Leveling up from 3 to 4 required 500 EXP. A Wild Dog only gave 40 points so Haru had to kill more than 10 to level up.

After killing two Wild Dogs in a row, Haru's Stamina once again depleted, forcing him to sit down and rest awhile.

Opening up the leaderboards, Haru took a look and smiled. At the top was Chaotic Sky, who was already level 6. Ordinary players, on the other hand, would still be at levels 1-2. His level was enough to make their hair stand up in anger. The 2nd place was level 5 and it was none other than his boss, Purple Rhyme is her in-game name, as he was told before in the group meeting, Behind those two were a couple of well-known players, tailing at level 4.

In the early game, melee classes are undeniably unparalleled!! Yet despite that, Ling Xue, being the mage herself is 2nd in the leader board.

Now that's talent...

He smiled wryly, no matter how hard he tries, he just can't catch up to her, she is just so good

"After reaching level 5, I'll return to the village. Besides checking things out, I also need to buy some Stamina Potions!" When Haru's Stamina filled up, he walked a few steps ahead and saw a vegetable field with an NPC standing on it.

"This field is constantly trampled by the Wild Dogs. Youngster, are you able to help me drive them away?" The NPC's eyes flickered as he asked Haru.

[System Message: Will you accept the quest: Driving Away Wild Dogs]

"Accept!" Haru clicked the button, then shifted his view to the quest description. It turned out that he had to kill 10 Wild Dogs.

"Let's continue working hard!" Haru smiled and launched an Arrow at the monster to attract its aggro.

He continued to repeat the process of firing the arrows for some time before he finished with it.

"Shaa!" After the sound, a golden light once again flashed above Haru as he transitioned to level 4. At the same time, he had finished killing 10 Wild Dogs and completed his quest.

"Very good youngster! Thanks for your help. I'll give this to you!"

[System Message: Quest: Driving out the Wild Dogs completed. Rewards: 500 EXP, Leather Belt.]

[Leather Belt]

[Physical Defence: 1-2 Magical Defence: 1-2]

[Increase inventory by 10 spaces]

Although this was a piece of white equipment, it had the effect of adding 10 inventory spaces, compared to other items of the same caliber, this one was comparably better. Haru equipped the item and looked at his experience bar. After completing the quest, he only needed 100 more points of EXP to level up again.

He decided to kill the last Wild Dog in the vicinity. With a couple of arrows, it collapsed on the ground.

"Something dropped!" From the corpse, a pair of shoes appeared on the ground. Haru couldn't help but cry out in surprise. He never thought that this monster would drop something good.

After killing so many, this was the first time a normal monster had done so.

[Dogskin Boots]

[Attack: 2-4]

[Agility: +3]

This pair of shoes increase the attack. Although the increase wasn't much, in the early stages, this was considered enough!! After all, with such low drop rates, Haru was already able to obtain 4 pieces of equipment. This was already something unbelievable. Ordinary players would be considered lucky to even obtain a single piece!!

Equipping the Dogskin Boots, Haru realized he only needed to hunt two more Wild Dogs to proceed to level 5. Shortly after, he decided to find some more Wild Dogs and leveled up.

"Shaa!" With another flash of light, Haru leveled up once again. This time, he reached level 5.

He opened the leaderboard as he smiled, he is at the third Just below his boss

[Chaotic Sky: Rank 1: Level 7: Class: Warrior]

[Purple Rhyme: Rank 2: Level 6: Class: Mage]

[Easily Angered Bookworm: Rank 3: Level 5: Class: Hunter]

[Soul Weaver: Rank 4 Class: Level5: Assassin]

...

Well there are only 4 Base classes, but once the players reach level 10, the top players will be differentiated from the lower level players, as the Game Spirit of Grief provides Over 10,000+ Classes

It does not include the Powerful Hidden Legendary Classes and the 3 Game Breaking Myth Level Classes.

"Time to go back!" Haru turned around and headed back to the Beginner's Village. At this moment, other players were leaving the village to hunt Wildcats. Since a lot of people were leaving, it was slightly crowded, but Haru could just push his way through.

In the Beginner's Village, Haru accepted the quest. It was to help the village butcher obtain some beef. This quest required him to kill 20 Wild Cows.

As he was making it to the cows, something happened

"Brave adventurer, please wait", an Elderly man came to him on his own

Haru smiled, "What is it, sir"

"Brave adventurer, from your aura I can feel that you defeated the Apex Wildcat all by yourself"

"Uh... Yes?"

"Brave Adventurer, If you can solely defeat Apex Wildcat, I Believe you can do me a favor"

"A favor?"

"Yes, In return to that, I will give you this Orb, It's in my family for generations, Once a Great Hunter Was Helped by my ancestor, he gave my ancestor this orb"

"Oh, Okay, What's this Orb is being used for"

"I... I don't know Brave Adventurer, But it's all I have to give, Please Help me"

"I Beg you please Kill that Demonic wolf that Killed my son, and Bring that Demon's heart to me as a prove"

"I accept"

"Oh Thank you Brave Adventurer"

[Revenge]

[Kill the only Boss monster in the village, the corrupted Demon Wolf, and dig out its heart. Upon doing so, deliver it to the elderly man]

[Story Quest] [Story of Wind Chasing Boy]

[Dificulty: 5]

[Requirement: Solo any Boss]

[Reward: Wind Spirit Orb, Profession Changing Item]

"Wait, Profession Changing Item? What's that? I never Heard of it"

Seeing this quest, Haru became a bit dazed before his eyes lit up. This was a story quest! As long as one completes this quest, it will become unavailable to anyone else.

And what's worse is, Story quest is bound to a player with a Bunch of Chain quests

"This Wind Spirit Orb Should be the Class Advancing Item, A Class Advancing Item at Story Quest, I am so pumped"

World Of Spirit of Grief is Living in its world, if a Life-Changing Event Occur at one Place it doesn't mean It will happen again at the same place.
