12 June, John's apartment, City K
Bronwyn figuring out that John had ended the call asked, "What is it, John?"
"I am going to have to apologise to you in advance. I have kept something hidden from you, not because I do not love you or trust you, but because it is not mine to talk about. It is my mother's secret, not mine. That call indirectly told me that she is happy about me talking about it. As to how much I know she has told anyone else, including your mother I have no idea."
Bronwyn tensed and said "You have me worried. If my father finds out, it will invalidate our marriage report."
John shook his head and said "No. Matthew when he did his investigation would have found some things out because it is not hidden. You know about how our mothers went to school together and become friends?"
"I do. Your grandfather was a politician; hence he was in the capital."
