Emergency Hatch

'Ugh'

'Fuck was that?'

Inside the flipped over tank, was Pleron who somehow managed to close the hatch in time, before having his head painted at the sharp rocky ground.

'Guh'

Having his position upside down inside the cramped commander's hatch, Pleron was now struggling to fix his position.

'Wait!'

Thud thud~

'Does this thing even has an emergency hatch?'

The boy was kicking the unlocked hatch open, at first it seemed to be budging, but there was not enough space for him to get out as the ground seemed to have blocked it off.

'I suppose I have no choice but to read the manual for this thing'

Pleron fixed his position and was now crouching inside the hatch.

'System!'

'Let's see'

'There it is'

Looking for the information at the armor section, the boy finally found his tank's structure and origins.

'Tsk, should have read it after receiving this'

Regretting, the boy looked at the details.

( Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. E - The dreaded beast that once shook the world due it performance and quality-

'I don't have time for history'

Irritated, the boy quickly scrolled down the screen with sweaty hands.

'Shit, what kind of person could work inside this'

(Due to the massive change in environment, the system would like to recommend wearing long sleeves and gloves if ever he is in contact against the heat of the armor)

'Yeah, no shit'

Due to Aeshma replacing the creature placed inside the system that was made to monitor me, the default announcer has been placed.

Therefore, whenever there is a needed information, the system would openly announce it.

'Since Aeshma said that he's only residing inside the system, doesn't mean he completely changed it though'

'Sometimes the default announcer would say something relevant to the system, while Aeshma could talk to me anytime'

'But since everything hostile within the system is removed, I got to thank him'

'There it is'

After scrolling for a few seconds, the boy finally found the answer.

(The Tiger was originally designed with only 4 crew access hatches in the top plates of the turret and hull. The design were soon change in December 1942 when a fifth hatch was added, specifically for use in escaping the vehicle. One of the pistol ports on the rear turret wall was omitted to make room for it.)

Pak~

Blaming his ignorance, Pleron facepalmed himself and blaming that he couldn't see an obvious hatch at the corner.

'Well, it's not like I took classes dedicated to learning ancient tanks anyways'

"Finally got out"

Now the escape hatch itself was made from a flat, circular armour plate. Both the left and right sides of its outside were bevelled, befitting approximately to the curve of the turret wall. The inside of the hatch was narrower than the outside and was tapered, allowing it to fit snugly into the hole.

'It's even waterproof'

There was a rubber ring embedded in the edge of the hatch to create a waterproof seal.

'Well I suppose tanks often flipped in mud or somehow fell into a river or something, I guess?'

Crawling out of the hatch, Pleron patted his clothes after he stood up.

"What the hell should I do with this then?"

The danger of suffocating inside had been removed, now the flipped tank is the only problem.
