Chapter 39: Humiliation

Shi Fan walked forward after removing the "nuisance" in his way. He just looked at the girl's shocked expression as if he didn't notice that the guy he just kicked flew 3 stalls away.

"Nice kick!" one of the female onlookers couldn't help but compliment.

"Thanks!" Shi Fan looked at him giving him a thumbs up and asked in a straight tone. "Lady, do you have a boyfriend?"

The female and other onlookers were very shocked at Shi Fan's question. They expected that he will ask if she's okay not ask her if she has a boyfriend.

"Umm no." the red-haired lady which is still confused by the question couldn't help but be amused by it. This guy in front of her is a little better and more handsome than the person from before as the tall guy looks like a pervert.

Although he is weak looking, the fact he is not afraid of someone is a gentleman and she won't hesitate to say yes if he asked her to be his girlfriend. Why not? Gentlemen are rare nowadays. She begins to expect Shi Fan to ask her that until...

"Then join my party." Shi Fan smiled at the girl while he thought in his mind. "Muahaha treasure here we go."

If the girl hears what he is thinking he'll surely suffer the same fate as the guy he kicked before. However this time her slender short legs will surely hit the center of every man's universe.

"What?" the girl become very more confused. She thought that the Shi Fan must be crazy as she expected him to date her because he asked if she had a boyfriend!

"Join my party." Shi Fan was about to continue when a robust handheld his right shoulder. "hmm?"

He looked behind and he sees a very angry figure about 6'1 in height. "Kid, do you have a death wish?"

"Who are you?" Shi Fan pretended to forget that this person is the guy he kicked before.

"You don't know me? My father is the Adventurer Chief of Frylie Team and you dong know me? My name is Red Lead!" the tall figure boasted.

"Frylie Team? What's that? Fried chicken?" Shi Fan couldn't help but frown his eyebrows in front of this guy. Shi Fan hates those type of persons that hides in the backs of their parents. Those people will never grow if they just stay behind the shadows.

Red Leaf which seethed in anger pulled out his long violet greatsword behind his back and readied to attack Shi Fan.

"You sure about that?" Shi Fan pointed his hands on the Rank 2 Guards nearby them that is ready to pounce if a single HP was lost.

"Damn." Red Leaf couldn't help but contemplate his decision. Even if he can instakill Shi Fan he could not outrun the Rank 2 guards as he is still a Rank 1 adventurer. However, he couldn't accept being humiliated in front of a crowd and a beautiful lady.

"You're afraid of dying on my hands?" Red Leaf began to provoke Shi Fan. The latter however also sensed that he's being provoked.

"Oh ho?" Shi Fan said in a cold tone however it is not only him who said that as Quan Shi also became a little angry on his words that he burned fiercely.

"How dare you provoke my student you mere Rank 1 ant." Quan Shi protested.

"Since when was I your student?" Shi Fan asked in confusion if others could see that he is talking to a flame they'll think he has become crazy.

"You called me master right? That proves you're my student." Quan Shi harrumphed as he remembered the time when Shi Fan called him master.

Red Leaf noticed that Shi Fan is just standing there while he is still seething in anger as he looked at the sitting beauty behind Shi Fan. The humiliation he felt when he was kicked will be deeply buried in his mind forever. He continued to provoke Shi Fan.

"So kid? You really are afraid? What this? All bark and no bite? How about this. Duel with me if I lose I'll deeply kowtow to you. If I win you'll be the one kowtowing to me." Red Leaf laughed sarcastically as he succeeded in thinking of releasing some of the humiliation he endured.

"Master. Can I win against him?". Shi Fan curiously asked. Shi Fan judges the power level between them and he can slightly feel that he is slightly stronger than him.

"With uncle's sword? Of course, it belongs to you so you should use it." Quan Shi said as he reminded Shi Fan that not only raw strength and skills make up a VRMMO gamer they also need strong equipment.

"I agree to your condition." Shi Fan said confidently. His master is right, why not use an overpowered sword to settle a fight?
