Chapter 48: One sided bullying

The two dueling people continued their monster hunting duel as they pitted skill after skill upon the monsters that come through them. Nah just kidding. It is only Yuu Si who's casting barrages of skills for the past 15 minutes. Although the moment the dead Lizardian's body dissipates another dead body occupies it.

Yuu Si looked at her status bar and saw her MP is almost critically red. What made her shock the most is that she's equipping Everfrost. To Diyo and TigerTail the only benefit the necklace has is to add modifications to their skills however her necklace has one bonus skill. *Mana Reduction* which reduces the mana cost of skills that have been modified. If she cast a simple skill it only decreased her MP by 1% now however now her MP is at 10% which is the same as casting 90+ skills in 15 minutes.

The carnage around her however is comparable to Shi Fan who is just continuing to spin and spin around the Tree of Sahara. Each time he passes an area of monsters they are immediately wiped out.

Seeing the endless system pings he couldn't help but look at his EXP bar. Since he is a few levels ahead of the Lizardians his EXP farming is only a little. As it only increases by 1% for every hundred Lizardians killed.

"HOW!...LONG!...SHOULD I...KEEP...SPINNING!" Shi Fan roared in anger. As much as he wants to stop the skill he couldn't do so as there are way too many monsters still attracted to the stone egg.

"Why is this egg so damn attractive?"

"Of course because it came from the Ryusuuji Falls. The allure of mana from the Falls attracted the senses of these lizards making them rush to it. In that way, you have become a killing machine. Hahaha." Quan Shi explained.

"Aint funny. I'm literally spinning for almost 10 minutes!" Shi Fan snorted. All he could see is flashing images of monsters leaping to him like madmen.

Diyo from afar sat on the edge of the cliff as he looked downwards on both of them with serious eyes. He contemplated on to something as he watched both of them killing monsters. "Tiger Tail."

"Yes, leader?" Tiger Tail which is standing behind Diyo respectfully said.

"With this team..what do you think will be our rank in the Games." Diyo seriously asked Tiger Tail. Although he doesn't care about the Games he cared about the future potentials of these young people around him.

"They still don't have teamwork in their minds. With raw power, they might rank second among the 13 Teams excluding Mami's team." On the way here Diyo explained how he got the Games slot. Although he is sad to lose an integral part of their Adventurer Team's financial prowess he also couldn't avoid the fact that these people are talented.

"Second in raw power? Who do you think rank's first?" Diyo asked. Although he knows the answer he also must hear his own chief's suggestion.

"1st Saint Akuma's Adventurer Team" Tiger Tail looked at him in a straight face.

"Akuma's team huh." Diyo obviously knew the man. Although he only meets him during Saint meetings his incredible prowess is undeniable. He is also the first and only person among the 13 Saints to reach Rank 4!

"How are their participants" Diyo continued asking.

"According to our intel report..their participants..are Pausers." Tiger Tail softly said as to not scare the other four watching the fight below.

"Pausers huh. It seems they seriously want to win the Games." Diyo smiled as he looked down again. Pausers are adventurers who temporarily stopped their Ranking Trials. Although the Game's rules didn't prohibit Pausers they have a level cap which is Level 50. Although they are the same rank it is the levels that define who is stronger.

"Isn't this a little too much?" Asphyxia which is wearing a silver armor commented on the battle. He tapped Pheri's shoulder which is beside him.

Background: Scouted by Tiger's Tail on the Philin King's abode when he is partying with others. As his ambition is to become one of the Strongest Emperor in the Debuffer Path he joined them without a second thought. His specialty is Mana managing, Air-Type Spells. His Epic Equipment *Gaseous* allows spells to penetrate on Adventurer's bodies and hit the others below them. It also improved regeneration rates by a large margin.

I can agree with that. At least after this fight, we can finally do our training." Pheri merrily rejoiced as he is excited about fighting strong enemies.

Background: Also scouted by Tiger Tail however it is when Pheri dueled with the latter that he is seen with potential. Although the duel was very one-sided due to the difference in rank Tiger Tail still admired his determination to fight with him. His Epic Weapon, *Blood Vial* multiplied the power of his blood energy depending on his strength as well ss other additional skills

"Shut up will ya boys." FuFu on their front angrily looked at them. Her small stature made her sniper behind his back very huge.

Background: Scouted by Tiger Tail when he is hunting Artificial Leopards on the Nemian Mountain Ranges. Her rate of kill on the fast Leopards made her an individual worthy of attention. Although her height is small which is only a little taller to Cecil her ability to predict 5 seconds in the future is incomparable among the team. She currently doesn't have Epic Items with her.

"Leader, what's the score now? Yuu Si is winning right." She hates their leader very much due to hos attitude that is why she is very supportive of Yuu Si which is still casting spells after spells, unlike Shi Fan which is clearly cannot be seen from because he is very far away.

"Hahaha" Diyo laughed as he swiped his status bar to the four persons behind him which immediately showed the current score.

The four look at it with strange faces and they immediately felt their knees weakening.
