A helping hand

Raven was just sittingin the living room with Jade doing her homework and her mom and dad were watching tv when a crash at the back door made them all jump to their feets, before they could react another stronger crash sounded and the back door opened forcibly, thru it a big wolf made out of shadows walked in, it looked at all of them wish froze them in the spot ,slowly showing a lot of fangs and growling looked at Raven and dashed in her direction. Seen this Rose screamed and that got Joseph moving,putting himself in front on Raven, giving Raven time to run and getting besides her mom and sister but the wolf clawed at Joseph sending him flying a few feets away, a cut in his arm was bleeding and he was knocked unconscious. The wolf turned towards Joseph ready to kill and Raven screamed.

Raven: No!!!!

The beast stopped and looked at her.

Shadow beast: Witch, you are lucky that my master Malachi wants you alive, but he do not care about them, if you don't come with me I will kill them all!!.

Rose and Jade grabbed Raven's hands not wanting to let her go, but she shaked her head, if she stayed the most precious people to her were going to get hurt, as it was she looked at her dad in the ground and preyed that he will be ok.

Raven: I'm sorry Jade, mom, because of me you are in this situation, I thought that I had more time to choose about fighting or not, but now I know that I don't have a choice ,this is my fate and if I could go back in time I would have tell Brian that I'm going to fight this war.

"Good,because we can't win this battle without you sister. "

They all looked at the stranger in the living room, she had curly flaming red hair that was messy, beautiful hazel eyes looked at Raven and she had a kind smile, she was pettitte and seemed to be in her twenties. The wolf looked at her and with a ferocious growl attacked her but without a second hesitation she threw a fire ball at the beast making it run out of the house howling in pain. The red head dusted her hands and walked towards the family and extended her hand to Raven.

Luna: Hi, my name is Luna and I'm please to meet a fellow witch.

With a shocked expression on her face Raven shaked hands with the girl,but as soon as the girls hands touched sparks flew.

Both girls smiled at each other,but before Raven could say something, two huge wolfs come running in.

Brian and Ryan froze in place and assessed the situation, seen that there were no enemys around they shifted making Rose wasp from seen that.

Brian: Is everybody ok ?.

Raven:Dad got hurt.!

And saying this she keeled besides her dad, everyone surrounded Joseph wish was just waking up, Rose rushed out of the room and come back with a first aid kit,with the girls help she took care of Joseph's wound and told Joseph and the brothers what have happened,and Brian told them what they have found about the people disappearing. Suddenly Luna stopped their conversation.

Luna: We have to go, more of this shadow beasts are coming, we are not safe here.

Brian: Let's go to our place, we have enough room for everyone there and is in the outskirts of town.

Rose :Ok give us 10 minutes to pack.

In 10 minutes everyone was piled on Rose's van and driving away from the house, Raven looked at the house were they have had so much happiness and wondered if she will ever see the place again. On a corner of the backyard Thomas saw everything that had happened from his hidden spot, he was shaking in fear, he just wanted to spy on Raven and see if he could get prove that she was a witch but this was more than what he wanted to know, and what were those shadow stuff ?. He decided in the spot to forget about everything he saw this night and was turning around to leave when a man grabbed him, putting a rag on his face.

Man: Where do you think you are going?

He only had a few seconds to think that he knew the mans face but couldn't remember from where before he passed out.

After 20 minutes of driving Raven and her group got to a house on the outskirts of town, the house was big and had lots rooms, a huge kitchen, 5 bathrooms and every commodity they could wish for, a forest surrounded the place giving them lots of privacy. Rooms were given to the new guests of Brian and Ryan and as it happened Raven's room was besides Brian 's one and Jade's were besides Ryan. They all seated around the kitchen island and talked about what to do from there on.

Brian : I don't think we can go back to town anymore, Malachi know now that you are alive and he won't stop until he captures you.

Raven: Who is Malachi and what he wants with me.?

Ryan:Malachi is the king of witches, at one point he was your mom's fiance but she refused to marry him, that is why he imprisoned your mom in a cave, that is how our king found her and you know the rest of the story. Malachi wants to marry you, if he does he could reign over witches and beast man.

That idea appalled Raven, that this person abused her mom and now wanted to use her made her angry, she fisted her hands and shaked from anger, but when Brian saw that he thought that she was afraid so he graved her hands and looked at her eyes.

Brian: I swear that I will never let him hurt you, I will gladly give my life to protect you.

Raven blushed and Brian let her hands go, Joseph and Rose saw the whole thing and exchanged glances.

Joseph: Ok ,it has been a long day and we all need some rest, so we should say good night for today.

Everybody got up and Luna walked away with Jade and Raven but Joseph, Rose and the brothers stayed behind.

Joseph: Don't take this the wrong way Brian, I know that you are a good boy but my Raven is very young and I won't let you or anyone play with her feelings.

Brian: With all do respect Mr. Morningstar, I know that you don't know much

about us but we don't play with any girls feelings,in the beast mans world our womans are very special to us,the majority of kids borne to us are boys and girls are very rare, but what is more important to us is that once a male finds his girl they will mate for life, meaning that will be the one and only girl for him for life. From the first moment I saw Raven I knew that she was my mate, I know that she is too young and I will wait forever if that is what it takes for her to accept me as her mate. I hope you can accept me for your daughter and know that I will never pressure her on anything.!

Joseph didn't know what to say to all that, but he knew he liked the boy.

Joseph: If my daughter loves you then I will give you my blessings, but not until she is older.

Brian: Understand.

Saying this Brian bowed and said his good byes and left the room. Ryan stayed there and looked at Joseph all serious.

Ryan : I just wanted to say that all he said is the truth, my brother will give his life for your daughter and not only because he is a warrior, but because he loves her already more than life itself and I'm saying this because I feel the same way about your daughter Jade,so I hope you give us the chance to prove that we are worthy of your daughters.

Saying this he bowed to both of them and left the room to go to bed.

Thomas woke up all disoriented, he was in a dark room and everything was antique looking, the worst part was that he couldn't move, he was all tied up in a chair, he struggled a bit but couldn't loose his ropes.

Voice: Ah... you are awake, good!!.

Thomas stopped moving and looked at the man walking towards him, the man was tall and slender, his hair was white but he wasn't old, he was very handsome. His eyes scared Thomas, they were red, getting closer to Thomas he said.

" My name is Malachi, we have much to talk my friend."

And give him an evil smile.
