Chapter Seven: Confused Seth

[HER POV]

I'm expecting for him to ask more questions but it looks like he's lost of words. I'm just staring at him stunned like an idiot. He open his mouth but quickly close it too. Can't find his right words to say.

I smirked. Go on Seth. Think harder. Hahaha. . .

A moment had past before he got the grip of himself but I can see the doubt in his eyes. His debating against himself if he will talk or not but eventually chooses to just shut his mouth. I just let him be and stayed quiet. Let him think what he wanted to think.

For almost 3 hours of being together in this close room, we didn't do anything but to stare at each other. but of course it's just a joke.

We ordered again and after we eat we played chess. I teach him how beacause he doesn't know. We also played darts but this time it's his turned to teach me how.

At first it's so awkward but nang tumagal-tagal na ay nagiging okay na ang atmosphere sa pagitan namin. We laugh and teased each other. BUT I didn't introduce myself as his wife, not yet.

He has a warm and bubbly personality. He's very bubbly and fun to be with. Those time we've been together he never asked something about me. Which is I silently thank God for that. I'm not ready yet to introduce myself to him.

We decided to play another game when my phone rung. I fished out my phone and answered it. It's Anne on the other line.

"What?"- I coldly said to her. I'm sure it's all about business again.

Seth look at me with shocked expression when he heard my cold voice. Maybe he's wondering why I have the sudden change of mood.

"Nagpatawag po ang board ng meeting in an hour na po. Gusto daw po kayong kausapin, my lady. At saka may mga nakapending pa po kayong trabaho sa office niyo. Kailangan na po ang perma niyo. Tsaka may meeting po kayo kay Mr. Chinen mamayang 3pm."

I listened to what she's saying but I'm wondering why does the board wants to talk to me?. . . wait, is it about "that" thing? Tsk. Are they really that eager and can't wait anymore?

"My lady?"- I was pulled out on my reverie when I heard Anne's voice.

"Okay. I'll be there."- I answered and drop the call. Then I call Sebastian.

"Mr. Black"- I coldly said.

I didn't call him at his name cause I know Seth is still listening to me. And I know he knows Sebastian. I don't want him to give a hint of who I am.

"I'll be needing the documents in an hour. I have to show it to them."- I said coldy and emphasize the word documents.

I drop the call without him saying anything. I know he knows what documents I am saying.

"May problema ba?"- Seth asked worriedly.

"Hmmm? Nothing ni particular. It's just work. Sorry, but I need to go."- I sadly said.

He just smiled at me. Why so handsome, hubby? *ehem* I'm just complementing my husband.

"Okay lang, trabaho naman yan ei."- He said smiling so I took my clutch bag and before I leave.

"Thanks for today."-I said happily.

"Thank you too. I hope you will come back."- He said happily too while smiling.

"Of course but not for a while I guess. I'll be busy on my work. . .i have to go now. It's pleasure to meet you Seth Hunter Cross."

"It's my pleasure to meet you too Angel. Take care."- He said before I leave the room. I nodded at him and close the door behind me.

I payed at the counter and quickly walks out of the café. I almost run towards the car. The driver went out and open the door for me. I saw Sebastian dropping his call when I entered the car.

"My lady, the documents are ready. Naihatid na ito sa penthouse mo."- He said when I sat beside him. I ordered the driver to drive us back at my penthouse.

The penthouse I'm talking about is the one where Seth is living. He doesn't know it because I'm well aware not to bump unto him when at home.

I told manang Pilar to tell him about my false whereabout. You know? To confused him. Devious ei? Well, that's me.

About my room, I don't need to worry about that. I have my secret room there and it's only me, manang Pilar and Sebastian knows.

I just go outside of my secret room when I know that Seth is already at work or he is not at home. when going home, I check first if Seth is already sleep.

I put a lot of spy camera inside and out of the condominium and it is all connected to all of my gadgets so I could easily watch over him. Smart? No, just genius and bitch I'm FAB!.

"Akala ko ba hindi ka magpapakilala sa kanya?"- Suddenly I heard Sebastian asked.

"Yeah. I didn't. I only told him my nickname beacause he asked for my name. At first he's wondering if I am "that" Angel or not. But I know that he will think that I'm one of those common people sharing the name Angel. Well, it will serve him as a hint though he doesn't know I'm giving him *smirk*."- I answered while looking outside the car window.

"Tsk. So devious of you. Don't you pity him? He's tired from work, pagod pa siya kakahanap sayo."

"Nah. He will get a reward naman if he finds me. Enough for his effort."

"why do you have to do this? You didn't even tell me your reason for doing this. You can just confront him you know?"

"No, not yet. Not now. I still have things to settled before I could show myself to him. I don't want him to be in danger."- He went silent after hearing what I said. A minute later I broke the silence between us.

"Sebastian, appoint our top five excellent body guard for Seth. Magsisimula ang world tour nila next week. I want him to be safe. And I don't want any leeches lurking around him while his away. I don't like anyone touching my property. You know, I don't share what's mine."- I said seriously. He just laugh so I look at him while raising my brows.

"Posessive ei? Haha. . ."- He said while laughing and fished out his phone to call someone.

I rolled my eyes at him and went back at looking outside of the car window. Here he goes again. He'll just teased me again. Tsk.

He's like that when it's just us but when it comes to other people he is very cold and formal. Just a little more and I'll think he's a bipolar. Tsk. Tsk.

[Third Person's POV]

"CHRISTIAN-HYUNG!!!"- Malamang sigaw ni Seth pagkapasok na pagkapasok niya sa bahay nila ng grupo nila. Nagulat pa ang mga nasa loob dahil sa sigaw niya.

"Hmmm?"- Sagot ni Christian habang nakasubo sa bibig ang chop stick na may noodles.

"Oh? Maknae, anong ginagawa mo dito? Akala namin umuwi ka na sa inyo?"- Bryce na naglalaro ng x-box kasama si Xyrelle.

"Bakit? Bawal na ba ako dito? Umuwi lang ako para magpalit. May gusto lang akong itanong kay Christian-hyung."- Sabi niya at saka dumiretso sa kusina.

"Bakit?"- Tanong ni Christian ng makalapit si Seth sa kanya.

"Anong alam mo dun sa babae kanina?"- Diretsong tanong ni Seth. Nangunot ang noo ni Christian sa tanong niya.

"Babae? Sinong babae?"- Sabay-sabay na tanong nina Xyrelle, Daniel, Bryce, Kristopher, Luze Hansel at Timothy.

Nasa kusina na din pala ang iba at nakikinig sa usapan nila. Nagulat man sina Seth at Christian ay hindi na lang nila pinansin ang mga ito.

"Yung babae sa VIP room kanina. Bakit mo nasabi yung mga sinabi mo kanina sa akin? May alam ka ba?"- Seryosong tanong ni Seth. Nagsmirked lang naman si Christian at tinignan siya sa mata.

"Oh? Yun ba? Bunso, sa tagal niyong magkasama sa iisang kwarto kanina hindi mo pa din alam? Tsk. Tsk. Kung wala kang napansin hindi ko na kasalanan yun. It's not my story to tell so sorry."

"Hyung naman!. Akala ko ba tutulungan niyo ako sa paghahanap sa asawa ko? Kung may alam naman kayo ay sabihin niyo naman para hindi ako magmukhang tanga. Yung babae sa VIP room siya ba ang asawa ko?"- Maktol niya at nagpapadyak ng paa.

"Oo nga. Pero hindi ibig sabihin nun ay ihahain na namin sayo ang sagot. Ikaw ang kailangang maghanap ng sagot, taga bigay lang kami ng hint."- Tumayo na si Christian at bago siya umalis ay may huli pa siyang sinabi.

"Ito lang muna sa ngayon ang maibibigay kong hint sayo. The ring. Yung wedding ring niyo. Hangga't nasa sayo yan. Hangga't hawak mo yan mahahanap at mahahanap mo siya. Yan ang magsasabi sayo kung sino siya. Good luck na lang sayo bunso."- Ngumisi muna si Christian bago tuluyang umalis sa kusina at dumiretso sa kwarto niya.

Naiwang napapaisip si Seth at ang iba dahil sa sinabi niya. Kanya-kanyang hula naman ang iba habang si Seth naman ay tahimik lamang.

"Hyung, sa kwarto ko lang ako. Dito muna ako matutulog ngayong gabi."- Laglag balikat na sabi ni Seth at saka umakyat sa dating kwarto niya dito sa bahay nila.

'Mukhang hindi ko na magagawa pa ang challenge. Next week ay world tour na namin at matatagalan pa bago kami bumalik. Kaya papaano ko tatapusin ang challenge ko within 5 days?. Imposible. Tsk. Bakit kasi hindi na lang siya magpakita? Bakit kailangan pa niya akong pahirapan?'- sa isip-isip ni Seth.
