Unwanted visitor

Henry opened the door of the bedroom silently, it's still very early in the morning. He doesn't want to wake Lina from her sleep just yet.

He got up early to say goodbye to his mother-in-law who will fly to Glol that morning. Lina already said goodbye the night before so she doesn't have to wake up so early. She is still easily tired these days. Dr Jin said that she was not getting enough and proper nourishment in her body for the past few months when she had her stomach issue so her body will take some time to get back to normal and will need a lot of rest.

Henry is overjoyed to have Lina on his own now. He already spoke to her father to stop her mother on visiting for a few days. He finally to spend time and know his wife more and deeper.

He moved towards his side of the bed and lied down next to his sleeping wife.

"Wife." He whispers slowly. Enjoying how it rolls on his mouth, I will add that to my nicknames for her. "I'll make sure you don't come to any harm anymore."

Lina fidgeted and tried to snuggle closer to him so he helped her out before she hurts her right side more. This is the moment he enjoys the most. When even at sleep, she seeks him out and wants to get closer to him. She moves a lot in her sleep but she always moves to where he is, following his warmth just cuddling close all the time.

He pulls her just little bit closer as he kissed her forehead and stayed just like that, closed his eyes and enjoying the moment. Thanking the heavens that she is getting better and they are together.

Soft knocking on the door woke Henry up. He is still wrapped carefully around Lina, making sure she doesn't hurt her injury more and she's still sleeping soundly. He gently unwraps himself around her and moved towards the door, not happy with whoever it is.

He was surprised to see Wang Li at the door, he knows very well that he wants to be left alone with Lina especially that her mother is already on her way home.

"What is it?" Henry asked as soon as he closed the door behind him.

"I'm sorry. Mr Juen is downstairs and wouldn't leave as he was asked multiple times. He said he wants to talk to you. If you give me permission to use force, I can throw him out now." Wang Li asked.

"I at least want to be there to watch you do it now that he has already disturbed me. Let's see what he wants then you can dump him out." Henry said as he walked towards receiving area. The entire staff knows that he doesn't like other people except his family and very few people that was given permission to enter the rest of the house. His house has a very luxuriously appointed comfortable front room to receive guests that he doesn't want inside his personal space.

He likes to conduct business at a business set up or meeting outside if they would not like to meet in the office. It so happened that the people that uses his front room is very few, and that includes his cousin Juen.

"Butler Li, are you not even going to offer me tea?" he heard Juen say roughly as soon as he entered the room. He always talks big and almost arrogantly, especially to workers and staff.

"Butler Li, please prepare Lina's breakfast, she will wake up soon." Henry said instead as he got closer, excusing the Butler from responding to Juen. Butler Li smiled at Henry and left the room, not giving Juen another care.

"What do you want?" he asked Juen directly, not wanting to talk about anything else with this person.

"Well, good morning cousin. For a newlywed, you sure have a bad temper this morning."

"Wang Li, escort him out."

"Wait, wait. I need to talk to you." Juen immediately said as Wang Li approached him.

"Talk."

Juen stood up from where he was sitting down at when he realised Henry is not planning on sitting down to talk to him. He is dressed in a 3-piece brown suit but it doesn't look neat. It looks rumpled, like he slept in it. But his eyes that are overly wet looking and blood shot looks like he had just used some eye drops and haven't slept at all. His unshaved face and greasy messed up hair that looks like it was attempted to be fixed just completed his very untidy appearance.

He coughed a few times before he said,

"You know, it seems like there is no news of your wedding to Lina anywhere in the news. I was just invited to a party last night where all the respectable people of the are at and nobody even mentioned it. Both of you with big names and bigger reputations that had gotten married but why is it that only us knows about it. So, I just thought that I have to check on my precious cousin to make sure everything's alright."

"It's none of your business so you may go." Henry turned his back on his unwanted visitor but Juen has smirked and laughed.

"Hmm, but it seems like Nian Nian is also not aware of your new life update. The party was at one of their hotels so I saw her last night and she was asking about you. But don't worry, I didn't say anything. Yet." His smiled got bigger after he said the last word, like he had just won a game.

That is why he hasn't slept, the hotel he probably went to is the one with the exclusive casino for members only.

"You seem to forget who you're talking to?" Henry reminded him calmly.

"What do you mean cousin." Juen sputters, though Henry sounded calm, his eyes show a different emotion. "Of course, I know, I know. As I said, I'm only concerned about you so I wanted to be here if you need anything. Anything at all. You know, Ah Xing likes to hang out with Nian Nian and she's really still seems to be very interested in you." When Henry he didn't respond as he looked at him, smiling. He continued quickly to make his intentions clearer.

"So, I thought maybe you would like to have an agreement with me. On how I can help you, of course. I will keep her away from you and make sure she doesn't even know about your wife and you reward your loving cousin for his help. Hmm?" Juen was smiling the whole time, excitedly offering his services

Henry walked closer to Juen, his eyes getting colder her gaze getting sharer. Juen got goosebumps running on his nape.
