Conflict of 2.26.19

"So say that back to me, Mandi-Beth" I asked.

Okay... [phrase] she repeated to me.

"Great. I think that will be enough tonight" I said.

"Alrighty thanks Namjoon" she said flopping down on her stomach upon my bed.

"No problem" I said picking up the notebook and pencil.

"Hey Namjoon?" She said.

"Mmhm" I said with my back to her as I continued put the supplies back in their designated spots on my desk.

"What do you think if I told you I'm getting more capable of picking up animated objects".

I looked back over my shoulder.

"Well sounds like your becoming stronger. But..." I said sitting back in my desk chair.

"But? But what?" she said sitting up on the bed.

"Doesn't this mean you are becoming more adjust to being a ghost?

"Yeah I guess so. Is that a bad thing?" 🤔

"Well no but. Haven't you thought about.. you know moving on, going to the light?"

"No I haven't really thought about it. I'm not even sure how I would go about finding the light".

"Well typically from what I know. It's about having unfinished business, that keeps people from finding the light....

You know if you wanted, I could help you?"

"I don't know, Namjoon....

Hey it sounds like you are trying to get rid of me or something? 👀".

"No. Not at all. I'm just wondering if you would be better off. I mean what are you going to do in the future, continue to follow me around? You can't be serious...I scoffed.

Continuing to put everything in order my thoughts raced.

I'll die eventually and you'll be alone again... I won't be able to see you once I die.

This thought hit me hard and I felt an ache deep within.

I looked a Mandi-Beth. She looked dejected and sad? Trying to make sense of her facial expressions. I remembered what I had just said to her.

"Mandi-Beth. That's not what I mean".

Standing up with a flushed face. "Who would want to be with you anyway!"
