Practice.

*Thunk*

The feeling of recoil hit his body after his impacted with the trunk which caused him to slightly stutter. Letting it run its course he settled down his body and slowly removed his hand to take a look at the damage he inflicted. What he saw slightly shocked him in a bad way though. The trunk itself was roughly 10 meters thick and the hole he left it the tree was only around a 1 meter. Before the Awakening Stage he could of probably only of done a quarter to half roughly so if looked at it that way it was a significant increase in strength but if looked at in different ways it only wasn't that strong or at the very least it failed to live up to his own expectations of what he thought it would result in.

"Damn."

He naively and hopefully estimated that he might have gotten at least 2 meters with the use of his energy but reality begged to differ. Though it wasn't the biggest setback though because he knew he was being hopeful and since he was just starting out this was already pretty okay even if the hole he left was rugged and damaged it still got the job done for now.

If he knew how much damage others could do at his stage he probably wouldn't be complaining too much though. For a rough comparison most people got around 80cms at Awakened and before roughly 20-40cm's. His body played the largest part in why it was so different but that was something he would figure out when he got more information on others and more comparisons.

After he finished completely inspecting the hole to see if it got any further than he thought and of course not finding anything he disappointingly walked back to his living area. Today he would clean up the area around him to make it more livable and then spend the rest of day adjusting his body to the new energy and strength it had.

For the livable part he would mostly just go around cleaning up any excess falling leaves on the ground or pile of sticks. After going around pushing the leaves to an area on the side for the most part making the ground visible he moved on to creating a makeshift jug to contain water with all the leftover sticks and grass or leaves he found. Luckily after what happened a couple of days ago he was able to confirm that his body was more abnormal then he thought seeing as how he never got sick after scarfing down raw meat like a madman. With that test done he knew for that even if drank dirty water he wouldn't be too concerned about sickness thankfully.

Though the stream nearby did look clean for the most part but that was never a guarantee and thankfully with this knowledge in mind he could ignore the potential risks if there was any.

"I guess there are some good things to being a monster after all."

The fact that he could even joke around like that slightly was a testament to how good he was feeling now that he had left that suffocating Fiery Clan for a good while. It was the beginning of change.

After finishing the jug and collecting the water he set it aside for now and hung it to the trunk of a tree. Then he moved on to adjusting the energy in him. To do that for the most part he would need to run himself exhausted then re absorb the Astral Energy in the air for the next couple of hours so what he planned to do was go run around for a while and try and punch and kick with his body against different trees at different intervals to exhaust himself and to help make his punches and kicks more solid and smooth. If eventually he could start adding more power and speed then he would but at the start he wanted to just start on the low side to get use to it.

Afterwards when his energy in his body ran dry he could come back to take a rest and absorb the energy around him while settling down and catching his breath.

"Alrighty Lets do this."

Starting at a sprinting speed he ran into the forest in the opposite direction of the Myriad Forest just in case he accidentally ran into it. It was better if that didn't happen and to make sure it didn't he ran the opposite way and it was also safer with less dangerous or potentially dangerous wandering Astral Beasts or wild animals finding him.

Weaving in between trees, branches and roots on the ground every third tree he passed he would punch with one hand and the next tree the other trying to leave the deepest mark possible while doing so .Later after he was done he could trace all the marks back and see how deep they were and how much strength and improvement he made throughout the course. At First though when trying to make the first mark he failed miserably as his fist bounced off the tree barely leaving a dent. But after a couple tries he was able to get the hang of it and start leaving actual marks in the trees. Even if they were absolutely pathetically small it was still a start.

"Haaa....haaa..It all has..too begin...somewhere right?"

After running around punching and kicking his way through the forest, he eventually got tired after about two hours of progress and finally exhausted his energy. Now he could go back and absorb energy again.

"Haaa....At this rate...Two more times...Left."

He had approximately two times left he could do everything together which in total was probably around 8 hours for the absorption rate plus rest. He tiredly made his way back to camp to start working on his Astral Energy regain. But Still he desperately wanted to shorten that time period naturally and even be able to do it while moving around but that wasn't an easy task. At least it wasn't something that he could do right away it would probably take a couple of weeks to get to that point.

"Plus I would need to up my concentration more."

To walk around and absorb Astral Energy he would need to be able to multi task for a period of time while moving his body around normally and gaining energy. Even if he could do it after a couple of weeks let alone doing it for a big period of time he wouldn't even be able to do it while actively moving his body in move fierce movements.

After about 20 minutes of walking he made it back to his base. sitting under the big tree in the center of it where he would start sleeping every night he slowly calmed down and relaxed his breathing. After 5 minutes when he caught his breath and gained enough energy back he sharpened his mind and starting gathering his energy back. But this time compared to the when he did it last time was by far faster so much faster that he actually broke his concentration at first because of the shock and forced him to restart.

"Damn maybe my estimations were off with this recharge rate I might be able to squeeze in a third cycle."

It seemed from when he was an Awakening Stage his energy absorption had increased now which to him was a pleasant surprise because he knew it would increase to some extent but not by this much. With his absorption rate now instead of the extra 4 hours to take now it might take 90 minutes in between instead of two hours. 30 minutes alone might not seem like much but when added all together that was an extreme number that got cut down and in the future it would only get lesser.

With that in mind he slowly resumed recovering his Astral energy and relaxing his body.
