No Way Right?

As he began to turn the page he noticed that one of the pages in the book was seemingly stuck together to a different page. Playing with it a little bit he tried to see if his guess was right but for the first little bit he couldn't undo it.

"Is there an actual page there?"

Well he had seen some similar things before in back in Torks library it was usually done by people messing around or it contained nothing of informational value so when he saw them he gave them a brief look then moved on. But now he was in Belturn which was not only a different place and a different environment for their library he was also struggling to even open the page in between that might be there. So it had to be something because he wasn't that weak or uncoordinated with his hands. Taking a step back from it for a second he rechecked it over just in case he was wrong but even after that he still was sure there was something there.

"So then how do I open this? I think a blade maybe?"

Well that idea might have worked he wasn't anywhere near a weapon or tool shop let alone even knew where to search for one in the first place and secondly he didn't want to potentially damage the writing contained in it or the book itself either if he had the choice. So he continued to fumble with it for a bit longer until he eventually got slightly frustrated with it and ended up using some of his Astral Energy to try and open it up by mistake.

*rip*

After the Astral Energy entered the book and strengthened him he instantly panicked when he heard that sound only to take a closer look at the book he was holding to find out it was still in the same condition as before if not even better as well as the page he had been struggling to reveal had opened up with no issues either.

"Well it opened....I guess."

Why it finally opened now escaped his guesses and thoughts but at least now he could finally see what was inside. "Hopefully it has something besides all the other times I've found something like this." Taking a quick peek at Xelfia and watching her engulfed in her book he took a deep breath and opened the page.

"What is this....."

He was stupefied at what he saw. On the pages were a couple of paragraphs each and from what he skimmed over it seemed to have been about a story of some kind. "Well it's not nothing hopefully, Let's take a read." Since it wasn't just scribbles of nonsense it slightly piqued his interest more so he began to take a serious look and read what it was about. Even if it was just someone's made up story or fun little prank he would be ok with it in the end because he satisfied his curiosity.

"Now what do we have here?"

it Started off by talking about the planet known as Valkeran and the things he learned beforehand. But what was primarily different in the stuff he was reading was that instead of the continent being separated into the 11 pieces it was today from what he knew It was actually just one big continent instead and the people just called it in entirety Velkeran. Though one thing that stayed the same as nowadays was the fact that the same names of each continent today still existed back in the days except they were just supposedly Royal Families only that were scattered all around the continent itself instead.

"hmm..."

Continuing on he read about how instead of 11 Royal Families that were officially known of today there were only 10 back then and just like then all the families constantly were at each other's throats.

"But Some have alliances now?"

Each family fought against each other for years on end with countless deaths that never stopped piling up as they continued to fight for supremacy of the continent. Though that one day eventually changed when mysterious people that called themselves the Nepl's joined the fight.

"But isn't that a newer continent...?"

If the things he were actually reading were true and the things he had read previously were only things told to the public and others then he might have stumbled upon something that should've been kept hidden forever. "But how did I find it then? If it were true it shouldn't have been so easy to find though. so maybe it's not." with that doubt in the back of his mind he read on.

When the Nepl's first showed up every Royal Family ignored them and continued on with there slaughter until slowly Nepl started gaining more and more ground in their fights and started to show scarier and scarier fighting potential that began to scare them especially Dracal. Now with their guard up with the newcomers who they previously weren't on guard with they started taking them more seriously. Only to be further backed into the corner by their seemingly endless strength that was shown by them. War after war, fight after fight , death after death of their clan mates for years on end the Nepl's continued to win until eventually the other 10 Royal Families finally were forced to set aside their differences and join together.

"Well then."

The more and more he read the more and more shocked and even slightly scared he became but unfortunately it was already too late for him to turn back he already stepped down the path he had chosen. He just hoped it wasn't real.

After all the families finally joined up together and put aside their differences the first thing they did was spread across the world and teamed up to create something that would help them win the fight against the Nepl's which was a last resort after all their previous fights together had failed against them. They would create something that lasted forever and would hopefully be the key to beating them.

"Oh...Boy...."

he stared shocked at the final two words in the paragraph as thoughts began to spin in his head.

ASTRAL ZONES.
