Pent Up Feelings.

"Water is of course the one I thought of first when trying to associate it with what element you could have. Without a doubt I felt it just suit you the best plain and simple."

Slightly surprised with his change of talking suddenly Xelfia took a couple of seconds to register what he had said before she fully comprehended it. "So there's something that suits me better, With your previous thoughts I doubt it." Though she was simply just being sulky about it because she got called out for all her playfulness and if Xilo really had something better to say that would of course be something she would enjoy hearing. But with her current head slightly clouded with some anger and frustration she wasn't exactly in a listening mood.

"You feel it suits me best now eh? I'm super curious as to why you think that."

With slight annoyance in her tone she stared at Xilo and let her thoughts out.

"Simple, You're a generally calm person that can switch at any moment if you so desire. But most of all I think water best represents the more gentle and kind side that you have and even if you doesn't always show it properly you try your best to take care of me whether I realize it or not though you can be a little vicious at times, just like how water can be soft and comforting at times but if you hit it to hard enough you'll be left with a couple bruises at the end of the day haha."

taken aback at Xilo's calm and icy voice speaking his mind seriously Xelfia was left at a slight loss of words. With all the pent up emotions she was feeling just before and now this sudden turn of events she was at a loss on how she was to react anymore or even respond. "Did he do this on purpose?" The thought crossed her mind but she didn't quite think Xilo was capable of doing such things. But when she thought back on some of his more recent changes with his slight teasing back once and a while the thought solidified in her mind more and more as a positive yes. "Plus he strangely wanted to talk about his second choice first instead of his first guess, Wouldn't that generally be the other way around? She wasn't positive due to her experience but when she thought how she would say it in Xilo's position she knew she would do it like that. "Full of surprises eh boy?" with her thoughts stuck in a whirl she reverted to what she called him in the past for a second without realizing it.

"Xelfia? Xelfia?"

Xilo, noticing he didn't get a response after he finished speaking, moved a little closer to Xelfia to try and get her attention but it was to no avail because even after he called out to her a couple of times he still got no reply. "Is she mad? I hope not.." He didn't want to make her upset when he began this. He just simply wanted to mess around with her a little in an attempt to cheer her up. He noticed when they finished comparing their scores she seemed depressed again and since he didn't know any other way to attempt to cheer her up he tried to do something similar to what she had done for him before when he was upset. "Maybe I went too far, haaa...I need to be more careful next time." with a slight sigh he continued trying to get her attention.

Unfortunately for Xilo, Xelfia was stuck in her own head dealing with all the different emotions she was feeling at the moment. But with all these different feelings attacking her at once and not even knowing what some of them were exactly she was at a loss at how to handle them. It even caused her head and chest to heart and tighten up slightly. "He probably noticed my sadness when I lost. Xelfia you know better than to show your emotions on your face when you don't want to." it seemed the past couple of weeks had led her to slightly loosen up more then she had been in the past and she made a mistake.

She wasn't against showing emotions to Xilo but she didn't want to make him worry either but this time around she had failed at doing so. Though in reality it wasn't anything like that in the slightest.Instead Xilo had gotten better at reading her and combined with her attachment to him it caused her to open up more and more then even her past self.

Even after a couple more minutes of attempting to get Xelfia's attention Xilo still couldn't accomplish anything that did the trick. "Is she ignoring me?" The thought floated across his mind but he brushed it off as him just worrying too much. But it still didn't stop him from getting scared of the thought. Inching closer he tried all sorts of different ways of getting her attention from calling out her name, waving his hand in front of her face or just simply tugging on her shoulder but none of that worked.

"Xelfiaaaaa. haaa....What am I going to do about this?"

Xilo had no idea how to handle the situation he was currently in especially since they would have to leave soon. But he dug himself into this hole so he would also have to get himself out. Thinking for a little bit he finally settled on the idea of lifting her up and carrying her. It might be a silly and slightly embarrassing thing for him to do in public but it got the job done plain and simple.

"Let's go with that."

Ignoring the repercussions for what he was about to do he took a deep breath and brought himself in front of Xelfia's soulless state.

"Huu..."

Raising his arms up he placed his hands on her shoulders and leaned closer to her preparing himself to lift her up. Luckily though just as he was about to pull her up over him she finally snapped out of her seemingly soulless state and looked him in the eyes. Finally snapping out of her thoughts she noticed Xilo's handsome face directly in front of her with his hands on her shoulders. Slightly startled with being in such a situation she panicked a little bit but had nowhere to go. Thankfully Xilo noticed she had snapped out of it.

"Hi."

With his face inches away from hers and feeling his breath on her skin she was at a loss at what to do. But strangely she felt an urge to move forward a little bit. Lost in that urge she followed and slowly moved forward until eventually she brought her lips into contact with the stunned Xilo's and kissed him unknowingly
