"Hey, is Tearia okay?"
Turning to her husband beside her she was met with his face gradually turning more serious as he watched on. "So he's just as worried as me." Getting hurt in fights was a normal thing but anyone could see plain as day that this was cruel torture and while she hated to admit it Tearia had no chance of winning, yet no one was stopping this match, she just couldn't understand it. Trying to speak up her worries she was stopped by Eli's voice as he finally spat something out with disgust filling his voice.
"Just wait for now."
"But..."
"Wait!"
Surprised at him raising his voice she listened as she turned to watch the fight while her nerves went through the roof. "What is he thinking?" However she trusted him so she let it go trying to calm herself and be ready in case anything happened. She would crush every single part of town if that's what it took to save Tearia and she was sure Eli would do the same. Atop a platform one girl was also facing similar worries as she watched the match. "Will Tearia be okay..?" "I'm afraid not." Panic filled her body as she tried to stay calm and unnoticed. "You said that last time though and look what happened so maybe-" "Don't try and fool yourself, even you should be able to clearly see she's on her last stand." "Then why is no one stopping this mess." "Take a look around you, she has no allies in this domain." Listening to the woman's words she slightly turned her head to see four different individuals' faces.
First was the man beside her otherwise known as Zelixin who stood by as he watched the match with a cheerful smile on his face as he quietly signaled the referee's to not interfere. "That bastard." But she wasn't surprised. To him this was a form of entertainment, what surprised her the most were the three Clan Leaders faces that were second to them. Two out of three seemed perfectly okay with what was happening especially Hazel, well the last one seemed indifferent to the whole situation. "What the hell, why are they allowing this?" "From the looks of it Tearia has gained quite a few grudges." "Grudges? how, Tearia is a kind girl." "Is she really though? how much do you truly know her." "I Know her enough!" Shouting in her head at the voice she felt her blood rising along with anger. "Sorry...I said too much but at the very least they aren't going to stop this and will just play it off as an accident, Not like anyone here can go against them." "But..." Her words stung deep as she slightly hung her head.
"What can I do to help."
"You help? Laughable." "I can help!." "How? with what strength, you're pathetically weak into comparison to any of them and barely have the will to do anything. If you do anything now you'll just be making the situation worse for you and Tearia, so calm the hell down for a second and take a second to think. I can't have you dying." "Fine...." Sighing she didn't know what else to do as she heard another scream of Tearia down below as another sword stabbed into her body. "Fuck....I can't do anything." Watching the room starting to spin around her Tearia couldn't even see straight let alone think which led to her being unable to dodge another attack. Letting the sword stab into her shoulder she released another cry of pain as the multiple Lin's she saw in front of her put on a disgusting smile that could send shivers down someone's spine.
"Come now Tearia where is that pretty voice you had from before?"
"Shut..."
"Sorry I can't seem to hear you clearly"
Putting a hand up to his ear he leaned in closer as he stabbed his blade deeper before whispering near her ear.
"I hope you enjoy yourself in the afterlife."
"Bleh."
Coughing more blood up Tearia ignored his disgusting voice that filled her with irritation while she tried to keep herself from blanking out. Unfortunately she ended up getting blood on Lin's robe which resulted in a loud sound echoing throughout the arena.
*Slap*
Smacking Tearia across the face when he noticed all the blood on his robe one word came out of his mouth in a low snarl.
"Bitch."
Forced to take off his robe now to stop himself from having any kind of thoughts about it he slowly struggled to take it off well Tearia came back to attention after feeling pain in her cheek. "What.." Out of all the pain she had felt today that slap probably hurt the most. Feeling tears start to build up in her eyes she slowly started to cry. At this point she had lost all normal capabilities of thinking and seriously thought she was going to die. She was scared and that old fear of death was running up behind her back to haunt her again just like in the past with Xilo. "I hate fighting." Crying that was the one thought that came to mind repeatedly as fear overwhelmed her. "Xilo..Help." In that moment she could only remember her face staring at her as disappointment was written all over it as he stared at her like trash.
"Why should I?"
"Because....I love you."
"Do you? or are you just begging to me because you're scared."
Staring at Xilo's face and hearing him say that in her mind panic ran through her body.
"no-no that isn'-"
"Isn't true? Expecting me to believe that after what you did is ridiculous. You haven't changed a single bit I see. Just the same old backstabber."
Turning away Xilo didn't even bother looking at Tearia anymore as tears continued to run down her face while an immense sadness overcame her. "I have changed...." Thinking that she tried to find the words to convince him but nothing came out of her mouth as she stared at the side of his face lost. Along with his silver hair he didn't seem any different then before but his whole body language towards her had changed and she hated that.
"I'm sorry..."
"Sorry? Why tell me this? What's that going to do? did you think I'd just forgive you like that?"
"No....."
"You did, didn't you? Haha."
"No I didn't I swear!"
Panicking she was worried Xilo might hate her even more but she couldn't say anything to help herself in the moment. Silence washed over them as Xilo turned back to face her with the same look of disgust as before though a part of her thought it had softened slightly but maybe that was tears blurring her vision. With a long drawn out sigh Xilo rubbed his hair a couple times before brushing a strand out of his face and stared Tearia in the eyes and spoke one sentence.
"Then prove it to me, can you even do that?"
".....I can try."
"Then go and show me what you can truly make of yourself."
As Xilo's image slowly faded away she was once again greeted with the sight of Lin's disgusting face as she finally stopped crying while a crazy idea came to mind to help save herself just as he finished taking his robe off. Focusing she tried to generate any Lightning Energy she could in her body and built it up as fast as possible letting it run wild with no control. Eventually it started to leak out of her body as crazy bolts of lightning started to stretch out of her body attacking everything around her even herself. "Keep going." Ignoring all the pain she was causing herself she just created more and more as she let it go completely berserk.
*CRRAAAACCCCKKKK*
"""STOP!"""
Hearing that scene and watching lightning spark to life, multiple people in the arena all shouted at the top of their lungs in their heads or out loud to stop at once but it was too late. Nothing could stop her now.
