Fragile Time

Leaving the barren streets and houses behind Xilo looked down at the paper while Xelfia looked over his shoulder. Right now Xilo knew speed was the top priority so he tried to memorize it so he wouldn't have to keep looking at it. "Alright That should be good enough." Putting it away he pulled Xelfia's arm off him as he made sure they were ready for a run. If not it was best for them to just stay here so they wouldn't slow them down. They couldn't be waiting for them to catch their breaths constantly.

"We'll be running quite a bit without many breaks, you two up for it?"

"I doubt I'll need a break so I'm good with it."

"I'll...do my..best."

"Alright let's go."

Not bothering to pace himself he started off at full force as he made it to the road with Xelfia keeping good pace with him. Relia fell slightly behind however she still managed to keep up with them. "I haven't really seen Relia fight have I?" He was quite surprised how much energy she had for such a small body. That was good though since they had a long way to go before they arrived. He wanted to leave them behind at the beginning but after thinking about it he didn't really know the area well enough so it was best if he had some help if he needed it. Tearia could handle herself so he wasn't too concerned about her and Aeon was there as well if need be.

"Let's just hope it doesn't come to that."

Shaking off his bad thoughts he focused on where he was going as time passed. Running for hours they passed another town completely ignoring it and all the people or Astral Beasts they passed by. "So far so good." They had been running for three hours without stopping once he just had to hope they could keep it up. "A couple days away..." Putting more strength in his legs Xilo felt a spike of impatience as he ran. Taking deep breaths Relia followed behind as best she could while a weird feeling attacked her. "Azalu..." Repeating Azalu's name she didn't get a response no matter how much she tried.

"I guess she's just too tired."

Without Azalu's help Relia was left on her own as this feeling grew stronger. She wondered if it was the voices coming back to haunt her again but she had only heard silence for a while now. It was about time they showed up again yet they weren't. It was something that hadn't happened before and Relia didn't know why. "Have they given up?" Letting those thoughts run around in her head she focused on Tearia who was still alive. "Maybe I should have stayed back with her." She was just afraid to get in the way and ended up choosing to leave with Xilo. "Hopefully she is fine." Leaving Azalu alone she kept trying to keep pace.

Creating another Energy Crystal this was Tearia's temporary solution that she had come up with. "Another one done." Staring at the small yellow crystal she had created she examined it to make sure it was stable and safe before putting it off to the side. Starting to make another one she didn't know what else to do until Xilo's group returned. Transferring Astral Energy typically wasn't easy but with most of the patient's current states they couldn't resist. In order to keep their Astral Energy up she would feed them any Astral Energy she could get even her own if need be. This was far from a good solution though it would only give them some breathing room.

"Hopefully the rest of the doctor's are doing alright."

She had them and anyone else who was able to in this town creating these small crystals while they waited. Once they were down they would feed them to patients like pills and give them some respite for a short period of time. So far it was working decently well but they would run out eventually. Once they did, if Xilo wasn't back she either had to figure out another solution or watch people die because of her lack of skill. "Keep creating!" Trying not to think of the line of bodies that might be made because of her, Tearia created another crystal. Standing up she grabbed them all carefully as she went to each person and carefully fed it to them.

These things were very fragile and would break extremely easy if any of them weren't careful. "Good practice though." Her first few attempts broke instantly but the more she made she got better at it and it also let her get better at creating things outside of her body. "This will help with that armour." Using it as training too she made sure everyone was alright in this room as she went to the next one. There was still a lot more people for her to take care of.

"Hopefully Aeon will be back soon."

She needed to start making the cure as soon as possible if she wanted to be ready for when Xilo's group returned as well. She was facing a lot of stress from so many different angles and that was going to start catching up to her. For now though she just needed to wait and help as best she could. There were around ten doctors here that we're all doing the same. Their job was to help people regardless of anything. "Isn't that right Grandmother." She was sure if her Grandmother saw the current Tearia actually using her knowledge to help people she would be shocked. "I wonder what it was like for you when you first started out as well." She never heard too many stories from her Grandmother on what she went through but she had received so much knowledge from her. Along with the stories her Grandfather told her once in a while.

"Grandmother always got mad at him whenever she found out. I hope they are okay...."
