While Xilo's small group explored the capital before meeting up with Telan, a lone girl sat in a fancy room that didn't suit her at all as her energy grew stronger. "Another." letting out a long breath she felt her body grow more tough as she hit another stage. She was passing barriers with ease and it was all thanks to Althea. That thought just pissed her off though as she sat on her bed in peace. "She hasn't even given me any information on Xilo." Every time she tried to ask she was just told to get even stronger. Opening her eyes she watched as Althea flew into the room without bothering to knock for the thousandth time. It had gotten to the point where she had stopped bothering to try and even get her to stop, it was just a waste of breath.
"Hi Yilel how are you doing today? Oh you've passed another stage once more, very impressive. At this rate you might actually be able to stand up to the weakest of our Clan."
With a smirk Althea tried to edge Althea on however she just stayed silent like always. "So boring." Taking a seat beside her she didn't care much for her personal space as she took out a note she had recieved a little bit ago. "Such a good boy Keltie." Reading over it she was quite surprised to hear about such things. "A sickness that absorbs Astral Energy..hmm should be easily fixable." She tried to think through a list of things as she read more. A part of her wanted to just let the sickness spread more in that place but Keltie and his little group were still useful to her. "Maybe you'll die another day then." Putting a note down she quickly called a maid here that she trusted and gave them their instructions.
Once they were alone Althea turned to Yilel who had stayed silent this whole time.
"Aren't you curious what I was doing?"
Hearing that playful tone Yilel rolled her eyes as she answered with as little enthusiasm as possible.
"No.I really don't care. What are you doing here, as you can see I'm busy."
"Oh come on, this one is a good one and I'd think you like hearing it quite a bit."
Curling up her fingers she saw Yilel's ears perk up a bit. "Gotcha." Ever since Yilel had arrived here she had been studying everything about her. What made her tick or what caused any motivation in her heart that caused her to not be this silent girl who seemed practically dead. "Emotions." Seeing such trivial things from Yilel excited her and she knew this would get a reaction out of her. "Her old home, rotting from the inside." Trying to stop her laugh she explained the letter she had just read out loud over again.
"Your home in the Fiery Clan is currently facing a unique sickness. Astral Energy is being sucked out of their body and causing them to be weaker. from what I hear it's spreading around the country though that's not the biggest part."
"Then what is it?"
"You're little boyfriend Xilo is still in that country and probably sick just like all the others. Slowly losing Astral Energy until he eventually dies."
Yilel already had an idea of where Althea was going to take it once she mentioned a country wide sickness. She didn't want to accept it in her head though so once she heard Althea confirm her thoughts she felt her body freak out. "No....no one else." Her goal was to kill Xilo and she couldn't let anything else do that, she didn't care who. Moving forward she grabbed Althea's dress as stress took over her mind. She didn't even care about Althea's usual demeanor as she looked her in the eyes and shouted at her. A little taken aback by such a bold action, Althea almost instinctively swatted Yilel away but stopped herself as she finally got some satisfaction.
"What the hell are you doing here then, didn't you also need Xilo for whatever you're planning?"
"Oh, I do but it's not like he couldn't be replaced."
Tightening her grip on Althea Yilel felt her nails breaking.
"You..."
Althea couldn't stop herself from laughing as she looked at Yilel.
"Don't freak out too much, I'm just messing with you. That maid I called earlier is already on their way to help deal with it a bit. They can handle themselves for the most part as well, I'm just giving a little help. If Xilo really is sick though I'd be quite disappointed with him, wouldn't you agree? Either way I'm busy here with you, if you really want to do anything then get stronger faster. Your ability has finally awakened and now it's time to start training it. There will be a little Clan tournament and I plan to have you compete in it. I think it'd be good if you got your ass kicked. You're talented but you are far from strong. That boy will easily reach miles ahead of you if you don't hurry."
Althea was lying about Xilo's strength but Yilel needed some motivation to guide her forward. "You want to kill him don't you?" Feeling Yilel release her grip on her as she calmed down Althea fixed her clothing. Standing up she lent her hand to Yilel but she refused it. Giving up, she told her to follow her as they headed out of the room. Althea hadn't really shown her around before for her safety however it was time for her to make a name for herself here and to do that she needed to fight some people. "I've got some people lined up already." It was time to see whether Yilel could handle herself without her always being around.
"Are you ready for some small tests?"
Confused by Althea's words Althea followed behind silently unprepared for what Althea had planned for her.
