Demon Hunting

Passively darkness hid itself from everyone's sight, usually most people couldn't find that within a few exceptions like his own Wolf's Eye Ability."I can just barely see it when it's passive." Once someone who had Darkness Energy actively used it, it would strengthen the stealth ability that was built into it. Which meant he could no longer track Xilo or anyone else in that group who was using it. "He must have lent it to the others." Darkness was extremely good at giving buffs to the user and anyone who accepted it. From strength, speed, defence to stuff like mental strength. It had an insane amount of supportive abilities and was the complete opposite from Light's crazy Destructive capabilities.

Since this was Laven's technically first encounter with a Demon he wasn't used to dealing with all the tricks they had. "No matter, they have to come out eventually." Even with Darkness hiding them eventually people would get suspicious about where they were. That Demon probably couldn't keep it up for long either, Cloaking that many people for a long time would be way too hard for someone as weak as him. "You got your break." Seeing his plan fail he felt a little frustrated as he moved to where they left his senses. His whole body seeped in energy that scared anyone else off from approaching them. "Some things you just need to do yourself." If others couldn't do what he wanted then it was time to do it himself.

"In this game of hide and seek I'm the winner. You can't hide here forever."

Whispering that under his breath he beckoned the rest to follow him while he called the others searching to stop.

"Are we safe now?"

Crouching down behind a mountain all of them tried to stay as quiet and still as possible. If they didn't their stealth would break in an instant, it already took a lot out of Xilo to get them all here. Right now he was using all of his energy to make sure the others could rest. To himself that was more than worth it and it helped get them out of a sticky situation. "Maybe we won't have to forfeit after all." Thinking that to himself, he looked at all of them covered in darkness as he did his best to keep it up. His plan after going into that forest was pretty simple. Cut off their main line of sight first then stealth and go into another place further away. He figured it might have taken Zilan's group a bit to agree however they were pretty accepting of it.

"Yeah we should be."

With a bit of strain Xilo tried talking.

"What exactly is this stuff Xilo?"

Pausing for a second hearing Marie ask him that question, Xilo quickly came up with an excuse.

"My Astral Ability, it's a very powerful stealth technique."

He trusted Zilan quite a bit but he had been warned multiple times not to just brazenly expose his Darkness. Some people hated this energy with a passion and he would rather not take the chances that one of them did. He was just finding new friends and he didn't want to lose them. "One day I'll tell the truth." With that he stayed quiet while keeping track of his energy. Marie quietly looked down at the cloak of darkness around her body as she felt a bit sceptical. "An Ability huh..." She had her own doubts about that but she kept them all to herself. It wasn't her place to say anything else and ZIlan trusted Xilo. If Zilan did, she did as well, simple as that. "If it turns out otherwise though." She wouldn't hesitate for a second to rip them to shreds.

"I see, makes sense. It really helped us get out of that situation, thank you."

Leaving it at that Marie stayed quiet.

"No problem, just use this time to rest and get your energy back. I can probably only keep this up for another twenty minutes or so. Afterwards we'll have to think of something else while I recharge. With the current rough position we are in though I don't really know what to do. The event has gone on for two hours now and we still have at least six hours left. That's a whole lot of time for Laven and the others to find us honestly."

"You're right Xilo...Honestly we're most likely going to be forced into a fight."

With time to talk Zilan started to speak his mind a bit more now that no one could see or hear them.

"Laven is trying to drive us into a corner with all these tactics and eventually kill us here. I know that and so do you all, what if we do the same though? I've been thinking about that since the third group, there's no reason we couldn't "Accidently" kill him back."

Hearing that Xilo and the girls went silent for a moment. "He's not wrong." Xilo knew ZIlan wasn't wrong about that idea. The biggest problem though was the differences between all of their strengths. Laven was very strong and Hazel

was as well, along with whoever else was there. Killing them wasn't going to be an easy task in the slightest. "Is that our only other option?" If it really came down to killing Laven or giving up Xilo was fine with both. Though he did lean a bit more on the fighting back side. He just had to hope everyone else was in agreement.

"Well that's fine, I don't know if we'll actually be able to kill him but if we can sneak up on him I'm sure we can fight back. If he gets knocked out of this event first then he can't do anything else. Everyone else agrees?"

Watching all the girls nod their heads and Zilan's group do the same, they started to talk a bit about strategy.

"If we're going to do this we need a plan and we don't have much time."

Starting to discuss what they'd do they were on a short timer with Xilo's darkness running out.
