Xilo sat there with his eyes closed as he took in all the information he could. Too much had happened way too suddenly, it was quite overwhelming. Peeking over at The Queen Xilo didn't let his guard down just yet. From the looks of it, whatever had happened when Azalu took her into the sky had rendered her powerless, that still didn't stop him from being safe. "Not that we could stop her." After a few minutes Xilo started to wrap his head around what had happened as he stood up. Swapping between Felli, the Queen and Aeon his gaze settled on the Queen. For now it was best if he took on one problem at a time. Stepping forward, everyone focused on him as he looked down at the Queen.
"Miss Queen or Katrin what do you prefer to be called."
".....Doesn't matter."
Begrudgingly the Queen replied to Xilo with a hint of sass behind her tone.
"Katrin it is then. What exactly happened when our friend took you up into the air?"
Katrin stayed silent when she heard Xilo's question, she had no obligation to answer him even after losing her strength. Staring off into the sky she pretended none of these people existed and completely ignored their words. It wasn't until a low cough from beside her that she snapped to attention. Like a broken machine she turned her head to see Aeon with a bright smile that blinded her, instantly causing Katrin to drop her snobby act. She had seen that look more than enough when she was younger and knew exactly what it meant. "He's getting mad." That fear from long ago had never left her but it also made her a tad bit happy to once again experience it.
"She put some kind of endless flame next to my Astral Core that burns up my energy whenever I try to use it. I've been trying to get rid of it ever since I fell out of the sky, however nothing is working. At the moment I'm just a slightly more tough human with zero power whatsoever, so you can put your guard down. "
"Is that all that really happened? The air around has changed quite a bit from a couple minutes ago. A part of me thinks you're a different person all of a sudden. That kinda change just doesn't happen without reason."
"That....is complicated. While your friend did talk to me about some stuff a bit it didn't really change my goal. If anything it just made me want to try harder honestly, it's more so other things that helped cool me off.."
Katrin's eyes quickly darted between Aeon and Felli. Seeing their reaction to things she was doing had hurt her quite a bit. Especially when Felli turned on her, that was something she didn't expect for a second. "For two people that feel so strongly for me...they do a lousy job of showing it." Grumbling in her mind, Xilo saw her look at the two of them with a bit of curiosity. "I can see why she looked at Felli but why Aeon?" Tilting his head slightly he thought about how he wanted to word his next question. If she hadn't given up wanting to destroy Astral Zones then what were they going to do with her.
"So you still want to destroy those zones?"
"Yes."
"Well, I'd like to hear a bit more about why that is and what other things changed you, I saw you glance at Felli and Aeon...do they have anything to do with it?"
Hearing she was caught Katrin stuttered for a second before she continued.
"I can, after hearing what that oversized bird had to say though I don't really know what is all true in there anymore but I gave the books to Felli, so you'll have to ask her to give you them. Take a look through them yourself for a bit and then we can talk a bit more about what the bird said....as for why I looked at those two..well."
Seeing Katrin hesitate to speak, Xilo stayed silent. Feeling pressure drop onto her shoulders Katrin knew it was now or never. If she didn't talk about it right this moment she would probably never bring it up. "They deserve to know." Biting her lip Katrin felt herself hesitate to speak. Everyone watched her in silence, even Xelfia who still wanted to rip her throat apart. None of the answers she had given had satisfied her rage but with Xilo taking the lead she kept quiet. "I'll trust him." She was positive Xilo had more than a few reasons in mind as to why he was talking this situation out like this.
"I didn't think I'd see the day where Felli stood up for herself. Her whole life she had listened to me without question. Just letting the motions go by, at some point I took a bit of advantage of that...just like how my Mother did the same to me. When she was fighting me I felt like there was life in her movements...fighting beside all of you together even if it was short and against me. Felli showed me a strength I never thought she had...and helped open up my perspective a bit as well and then there's Aeon."
Turning to Aeon, Katrin held her tongue of all that anger she had for him at the moment. She followed Felli's example and let emotions decide her course except this time it wasn't anger. It was love and longing, the man she called her
Husband had finally shown himself again. She could always curse him out later on for leaving her. "That'll be fun." Grinning softly at that thought she got back on track. Grabbing his hand she pointed his body directly at Felli. This was the point of no return for her and that was fine as long as the two people she loved in this world were happy, her thoughts were slowly changing. Tears started to form in her eyes as she felt herself go back in time.
"Seeing you appear again today Aeon...made me really happy. I forgot how seeing you made me feel...I locked it away in anger when you left along with all my other emotions. The two of you managed to unlock those again so even though I still have a few choice words for you leaving me.....It's good to see you again Aeon and I'd like to finally get to introduce you two. Aeon meet your daughter and Felli meet your father."
Dropping that bomb just like that everyone felt some shock as Aeon's jaw unhinged itself dropping to the floor in comeplete panic.
"...My...Daughter?"
"...My...Father?"
Staring at each other both of them were lost.
