Will!

True to the cultivators word, the girl was not allowed to talk to her parents any longer as she crossed over to the other side where the cultivators are.

The next batch of eight stepped forward ready to face their fates.

"Failed!!"

"Failed!!"

"Failed"

"Failed!!"

"Failed!!"

"Failed!!"

"Failed!!"

"Failed!!"

This time the whole of them who participated burst into tears.

It was terrible,no single one of them was qualified to become a cultivator.

Out of sixteen candidates that participated only one, just one is worthy.

Lee could only hope in his heart that his would not be like theirs.

The procedure continued and the tears continued.

Almost eighty children had participated and only five lads where qualified.

Lee was very close to the cultivators now,as he could now see how the fishes operated.

The lad who was next to take his test on the first roll placed his fidgeting palm led by the hands of the cultivator on the orb.

The eyes of the first fish opened in the twinkle of an eye and swam towards the part of the orb where the lad's palm was upon.

The second fish which was a little bit bigger than the first one opened its eyes lazily and drifted towards where the first one was.

Same was for the third fish and the fourth fish,it seemed to be the end as the fifth fish didn't make any move.

One could see four sleeping fishes spinning with ecstasy around the area where the palm of the lad was placed.

"Pass!!"

The booming voice of the first cultivator brought the shocked boy back to reality.

Another loud scream emanated from the adult's area at the sound of the cultivator's voice.

The fishes immediately scattered and drifted back to sleep even when the palm of the lad was still on the orb.

The lad stared back at the rest who had yet to participate and grinned mockingly which was probably directed to some set of people as several cold snorts filled the air.

Several results filled the air, with the sad ones more obtrusive while the happy ones very infinitesimal.

....

After standing and waiting anxiously for a very long time it was finally Lee's turn.

Lee surprisingly wasn't as anxious as he was meant to be there was a strange calm aura around him which somewhat caught the attention of the cultivator who placed Lee's palm on the orb.

As soon as Lee's palm landed on the orb the first fish instantly opened its shut eyes as though a bomb had exploded inside of it.

The fish swam towards Lee's palm with a speed that far exceeded its previous, if its previous speed was like that of a dog then its new speed was like that of a cheetah.

The second fish reacted almost immediately and in quick succession.

The Third!

Fourth!

Fifth!

The speed reduced drastically on getting to the sixth fish that was a lot bigger than the first fish.

The seventh fish sluggishly opened its eyes and stared at Lee's palm for a brief moment as though it was considering whether to move towards the lad's palm, but in the end it darted towards Lee's palm that rested on the orb in a very annoying speed that would make one want to deal mercilessly with the fish.

But no one was feeling this way, everyone had their eyes on Lee.Only a few could actually see the miracle that was ongoing, the adults could not see anything as they were extremely far from the scene but what attracted them to Lee was that they noticed all of the cultivators stop the test and place their focus on Lee.

Among the adults stood a middle aged man who had a striking resemblance of Lee.....His father. The man had a wide grin on his face as though he had expected a scene has this.

No one could be as shocked as the cultivators all of them had their heart beating as though it would burst, each and every one of them knew the real truth behind the sleeping fishes.

The fishes in actual sense were not sensing Sil force!.....that was just a cooked up lie,it was impossible to sense Sil force when one hadn't began to cultivate this meant the fishes were purposeful in sensing another power entirely.

A power that supersedes the mental reasoning of mortals and went beyond their comprehension,so was why the cultivators had to give a counterfeit explanation.

Will! was this power.Every child that made it out of their mother's womb is said to have a hint of willpower!

Everyone is said to be born with an almost equal amount of will so increasing the strength of your will is based solely on you.

But sometimes talent affects willpower, resulting to some having stronger willpower than the others. So meaning some were born with an extremely strong willpower.

Same appeared to be the case of Lee as with only a strong will was he able to draw seven fishes!....But that was just a small part of the cultivators shock.

What shocked them was the fact that such strong will wasn't supposed to occur in a realm as this since they were not equipped with the right techniques need to enhance wills.

One thing about wills was that they were very fragile and at a tender stage that wills like that of Lee's were they needed a method to constantly strengthen them till they became rigid enough for cultivation.Even heaven defying wills like Lee's needed this also.

That was the main reason why children from cultivation realms always had a upper hand in cultivation as they had been introduced to this method at a very young age making their wills far stronger than lad's from mortal realms.

But there stood Lee who still had his palm placed on the orb with a confident grin on his face which didn't appear rude and proud but rather filled with a pure satisfaction.

They had expected Lee to have broken down like the rest and lose control of the fishes but otherwise was the case.

This could only mean that he had a self cultivating will!

This was the strongest kind of will that one could be born with a will that could strengthen its self even without the need of any technique.Such wills could be strengthened by just ordinary resolute words, even battles and life scenes.
