Time Machine

Jack and Panther Lily were introduced to the other members of the team that survived the snap. They weren't there in person but as holograms. Now Jack also understood what they meant with a talking raccoon.

Jack was ready to meet Tony again after those 6 years they didn't meet. They drive with Steve, Loki, and Kara towards Tony's house and Jack says, "It seems he copied my idea."

"Maybe. You should confront him about it," says Kara holding his arm.

They see Pepper as she was about to leave and she sees them and recognizes some of Jack's features and asks, "Is that you, Jack?"

"Oh, Tony told you," says Jack as she nods.

"Well, I couldn't go and ask a fake person every time so we changed the name from James Striker to your real name. It was easier to keep the books clean after all," says Pepper as she boards her car and says, "He is in the yard with Morgan."

"Thank you, Pepper," says Kara as Jack was confused.

"Morgan is Tony's and Pepper's daughter," says Steve as they enter the yard and all five meet with Tony and Morgan.

"What about you and Diana. I saw you quite close," says Jack making Steve blush a bit.

"They wanted to wait for a while longer," says Kara with a smile.

"Both aren't that young anymore. They should take every chance they can get," says Jack as Steve coughs.

"How about we talk about another thing," says Steve wanting to change the topic.

"I like this topic so far," says Loki with a smile.

Tony sees them as he was holding Morgan up and is first stunned from seeing the others. He opened his eyes wide when he recognizes Jack he puts Morgan down and says, "Honey can you go inside and play with your toys. Daddy has something to talk with those people."

Morgan nods and goes back to playing while Tony walks towards them and hugs Jack while saying sad, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have dragged him into this fight."

"You mean Peter. Don't worry about it. I told him to choose your side," says Jack making Steve in the background say, "That hurts."

"What you had Diana. I needed to keep both sides well balanced. Now, how about we sit down and talk about why we came," says Jack as Tony takes them to the terrace and they sit down. Steve then tells Tony about the plan that is right now in the process.

"And the Time Machine works you say?" asks Tony looking at Jack.

"Yes, it works. But it wasn't my idea but the women's idea to do it after hearing that I had one. Now we need all helping hands we can to make it possible," says Steve.

"And you won't disappear like last time," says Tony looking at Jack.

"I won't," says Jack as Tony looked towards Morgan playing before turning towards them.

"Can you give some days before I answer?" asks Tony when Jack smiles.

"Of course, come to the Avenger HQ in DC. We will await you there," says Jack as they stand up both shake hands as they leave.

"Do you think he will come?" asks Loki.

"He will I could see it in his eyes. He just wants to be with his daughter for some more days before coming," says Jack as he then asks, "Where are Graves and the other by the way?"

"They are in different places on Earth. Two in Asia, one in Australia, two in Africa, and one in South America. They are trying to keep order and peace in problematic places. With the people disappearing many took the law into their own hands and terrorized the weak. With them there nothing happens since no one wants to fight a robot that fought in Sokovia or resemble them," says Kara explaining the situation to Jack.

"It's good to know that they are still alive," says Jack happy that they are still around.

They drive back to DC to fly in a Heli to New Asgard to meet Thor as well as Hela. Once they set foot on New Asgard Hela awaited them she had a more friendly face and her arrogance was like washed away.

"I can see you returned from your imprisonment," says Hela making Jack and Panther Lily laugh while the other didn't understand what was going on.

"How do you know I was punished for something?" asks Jack curious now.

"I'm the Goddess of Death. You should be able to count one and one together right," says Hela with a smile.

"Shura's wife told you," says Jack as he understood now how Hela knew about that.

"Imprisoned?" asks Kara confused.

"I was put in a room for a day but we lived for ten years surrounded by death. One misstep and you were food for one of Shura's pets," says Jack as he looks at her and says, "I know you got your powers back don't need to hide it. I'm not here to test you since the chains were your test."

"Are you here for our brother," asks Hela as she sees Loki.

"Yes, we need his help," says Jack.

"Good luck with that since the day he failed and killed Thanos he wasn't the same," says Hela as she points at the house at the peak before saying, "I hope you return more often Loki this is still your home."

"Not many think like you," says Loki as he sees people staring at him.

"They still believe it was you that brought this catastrophe but it was because of the Tesseract that they went to Asgard and not because of you," says Hela as she puts her hand on Loki's shoulder and says, "If you need someone to talk say so as your older sister I will hear your problems always."

"We should go see Thor. It suits you being like you are right now," says Jack as he smiles and passes her.

They go up and meet with Thor who was playing Fortnite while screaming at a little boy over the headset to not anger him with his trolls.

Jack sees a Thor that wasn't really in form and Thor sees them and says in his headset, "Boy I need to leave a friend I thought was dead arrived."

"Ah, Jack it's nice to see you are alive. You want some beer," says Thor as he points at the cask in the corner.

"I can see that you enjoy your life," says Jack as he sits down like the others.

"So why have you all come," asks Thor as he has a beer in his hand.

"It because we can undo what Thanos did that we came," says Loki making Thor drop the beer to the ground and he stood up.

"Don't say that name in my house," says Thor angry.

"Do you fear him?" asks Jack as he sees fear in Thor's eyes. When Thor begins to laugh trying to hide behind it.

"No, didn't they tell you. It was I who killed him. Why should I be afraid of that son of a bitch?" says Thor as Jack stands up and walks towards him.

"It doesn't help to run from your fears. Once you begin to run you will only keep running from them until you can't outrun them and they catch up to you," says Jack as he puts his hand on Thor's shoulder while Thor grabs his collar.

"How can you understand. You weren't even there. Where were you when everything was happening?" says Thor angry as he lost his best friends because of the snap.

"You think I haven't lost anything. My family shrunk to three people while my friends are only three hands full of people that are left," says Jack as he frees himself from Thor's clutch and says, "We all lost but you see the group behind me. They are working on bringing everyone back as if the snap never happened. We came to ask for your help."

"Get out of here right now," shouts Thor throwing them out in his anger.

"If you calm down and think about it and you want to help you know where to go," says Jack as he leaves through the door as the others follow.

"Brother you should overthink it," says Loki as he leaves and closes the door behind him.

Thor was sitting on the couch sulking while thinking of what he should do. Before he began to break things in the house because of the rage he was feeling for being so helpless.

"Didn't you go a little hard on him," says Steve knowing what Thor was going through.

"I did. But I did it to shake him back to reality. Sometimes you need to let rage take over so you can overcome something," says Jack as they arrive at the middle of the town and Jack sees Hela and says, "Maybe you should join us too in our mission of bringing everyone back."

"I will think about it," says Hela as she was accompanying them to the Heli as they fly back.

Banner and Reed were already waiting there for them and Jack went with them and they began to work on the giant time machine. A week later Tony joined them as well as Rocket while Nat and Steve brought back Clint who was held prisoner by Graves for killing people of the Yakuza. Everything was going fine only Thor hadn't yet arrived.

"Do you think he will come?" asks Natasha seriously.

"He should give him some time. The time machine isn't finished yet anyway," says Jack as they would still take half a month to finish it.

"Yes but we could still be planning on where and when to find each stone so once it's finished we can begin," says Natasha as they already had some dates and placed for three stones.

After two weeks passed the suits were ready and Thor, as well as Hela, finally arrived and everything was almost ready. They had the dates and the place they needed to be.

They built teams for every Stone. Jack and Kara go for the Soul Stone. Rocket, Thor, and Hela go for the Reality Stone. Tony, Steve, Scott, Natasha, and Clint go for the Space and Mind Stones. Rhodes, Nebula, and Loki for the Power Stone. Mordo and Reed will go for the Time Stone.

A week passes and the time machine was ready for use. Then Steve gave his speech and reminded everyone that they only have one shot in this.

Rhodes, Loki, Nebula, Kara, and Jack arrived on Morag and Rhodes takes the ship out and makes it go back to the normal form.

"We will see each other back in the future," says Jack as he and Kara board the spaceship.

"Good luck you two," says Loki as the luke closes and the ship begins to take off.

"Well then time to look for our stone," says Rhodes as they wait for their target to appear.
