Chapter Eighty Four: Secrets, Lies And A Surprise

Elijah's POV: After I left the hotel to find the witch, I heard Hayley chase after me, she told me to stop looking. I wondered why, she wanted to know just as badly as I did what the witch saw when she touched Hayley? She said that she wanted to tell me something before I went after the witch, she told me that she wanted me to hear it from her not a witch he barely knows. I was so confused until she told me the story. She made me go back to the hotel so she could explain without being overheard. She told me of her families history, how ever since the 1400's her family has lived in or about Saint Falls. And it was because of them that the town wasn't founded until the 1800's. Her family killed everyone that tried to claim the town for their own, every full moon to be exact! That was until they learned to control it when the town was founded, using a special spell casted upon a witch. You only are involved with it if you are told the stories and if you kill someone. So to avoid it they never killed anyone and kept it a secret until Hayley's father did research and told Hayley about it! She's known all this time and never said anything. She was one, after being turned into a vampire she became one of them. It's not a bad thing, it's quite surprising, but never a bad thing. I completely understood how, but why did she never tell me, did she think she could avoid it forever? This doesn't change anything, it only brings another into the picture. Hayley's POV: I told Elijah everything, from where it all began! From the beginning of the werewolf gene to now. I was the first hybrid in my bloodline, no other of mine has ever come across a vampire, they didn't know vampires existed, that's why it wasn't in any of their research or journals! But Elijah didn't seem scared, or worried, or even shocked. He looked like deep down he already knew, I know he didn't but he clearly understood! And without a warning he went full vampire mode, face and all, and ran up to me like he was about to bite me or something. Obviously I did the same except my face looked different, like instead of my normal eye color. I had golden-yellow eyes with the red around it. Elijah backed off and pulled me into the bathroom so I could see. I looked terrifying, I had veins running all the way down my cheeks and my eyes weren't just a normal red, they were a dark, bloody red and my eye color and I had weird looking fangs, it was like I had normal fangs but with bottom fangs and a little pair behind the normal ones on the top row of teeth! I've seen what a hybrid looks like because of Nik, they don't look like this. This is something else and I really had no idea...

Elijah's POV: Hayley face, she...she was different, she had a not so normal look in her eyes like she would willingly kill for the fun of it, almost like Katherine before she died, then I got to thinking... what if she was a witch, it's possible but that wouldn't explain the face? So we decided it'd be best if we found the witch...

N: A few hours later Elijah and Hayley found the witch...

Hayley's POV: We finally found that stupid witch, she got frightened when she saw me, but I assured her I wouldn't harm her, neither would Elijah. She agreed to sit down and talk with us. The witch grabbed my hands again, but this time she didn't let go, she let in all the evil things that she saw before and when she released my hands she told us what she saw. The lady saw a bunch of death, which according to my family history makes sense, but she said this was different, more powerful than anything she's ever seen before. Apparently the pack of wolves I come from are very rare and hard to come across, they're called the Tuska Pack. Apparently they are like werewolf royalty, the most powerful werewolves and the hardest to kill. You have to rip out a certain body part in order to kill them, it's their throat, you have to rip their entire throat off of their head in order to kill any Tuska wolf...

Elijah's POV: Hayley and I were shocked when we found out the information of the Tuska werewolves! We asked the witch if there was anything on why the stake wouldn't kill her because what we found before might have been a myth, she said that ripping out their throat was the only way to kill them, no other exceptions! We immediately thanked the witch and left. We needed to get home now and tell Niklaus, Katherine and Kaylee what we found out...
