Chapter Eighty Six: Surprise

Hayley's POV: Elijah and I decided that I'd be best if Katherine moved into their house and for Elijah to move into my house and live with me. That way since we'd be a married couple that we would actually be living together! Then we had sex, moved all his things in, and had more sex. I'm starting to think we have a sex problem! Anyway, we wanted to figure out more about my family bloodline, and I wanted to know more about Elijah's because to be honest neither of us knew very much about any of our ancestors. So since we had all this free time on our hands without any drama, we looked in every book we could find...

Elijah's POV: Hayley and I looked in many books until we came across one of the boxes my siblings and I took from our old house when we came across this land in the 1800's, it had more spell books. We must not have looked inside them before packing them because they were wrapped in cloth making it unnoticeable and hidden! So out of curiosity Hayley and I looked through it and found something very interesting, a certain spell book wasn't an actual spell book, it was disguised as one but on the inside there was a cut out where a book was hidden, a book with my mother's name before she married our father, the name "Amethyst" which was told as stories from our mother back before she died in 1492! We read the book cover to cover and found out some interesting information. My mother's last name meant to give protection and wisdom to all supernatural kinds, specifically a type of witch called travelers. I've come across a few in my time, they mostly make dangerous deals, do strange rituals, and jump into people's bodies when they die. Apparently my mother wasn't just a witch, she was a witch and a traveler, and according to this book we found her witch legacy would be passed onto all children she had. Me, Katherine, Niklaus and Tatia. However we already knew Tatia was a witch before she died, so we asked Kaylee to come over to study the book and see if it was true and to make sure I wasn't any type of traveler person...

Hayley's POV: Kaylee just got to our house, she looked over the entire book on Elijah's family history, Kaylee said that because his mother was both a witch and a traveler that the legacy on her children would shrink within every child she gave birth to. So the oldest would have the biggest chance of being either a witch or a traveler. The youngest wouldn't. The youngest child of their family is Nik and Katherine, I recently found out they were twins, lots of family drama going on. But the oldest child was Elijah, lived to the age of 25, wow, I never realized how much older Elijah was from me, an 8 year difference! Anyway, after she told us that, she took a blood sample from Elijah and used a spell to determine what he was exactly. And according to whatever it is she saw about him he was 75% regular, Original vampire, and 25% traveler/witch! That means that there was a part of him that was indeed human. The first thing I could think of is how nice it is to know that there was a little bit of us that was still human. Not even half, but it was interesting to know that...

Kaylee's POV: I know I should've said something, but I wanted to wait until Hayley and I couldn't be heard by Elijah, in my vision besides seeing what his mother's legacy left behind for him, I saw Elijah's legacy! Him and Hayley both have a tiny bit of human in them, that means that since he's part traveler or witch or whatever, he can indeed have kids, and wolves can too, which is the part of Hayley that is sort of human. I sensed the legacy being left by Elijah and Hayley, it was their baby! Hayley was pregnant with Elijah's baby...

Hayley's POV: Kaylee dragged me away from the living room leaving Elijah there, she said we couldn't be heard when she told me this. I had no idea what she was talking about, but now I had to know. I asked her what she meant and she whispered in my ear saying that I was pregnant! How the hell could I be pregnant, I'm not even human, but then Kaylee explained it to me, a wolf can reproduce, as can any type of witch. That meant that we can have children, it was a small chance, but trying hard enough would work to get pregnant. I wasn't really shocked about that because Elijah and I literally always have sex, but I thought since we were vampires that we couldn't have kids. But Kaylee said that witches always have their strange loopholes in nature! Now I had to tell Elijah...
