In front of two young people is a street full of bustling people running round about doing their business. Small stalls can be seen everywhere and many kinds of raw medicinal herbs are on the shelf behind the stalls.

Unlike those big medicinal herbs pharmacies where they own large buildings, this place is where raw materials are sold fresh from the mountains. Many people in this place who could not sell their herbs in those big pharmacies would just hawk their wares in this street.

At first, the city didn't permit this, but as time goes by, this street became well-known as the medicinal herb street. But unlike those big pharmacies, who sell authentic medicinal herbs, this place is a smorgasbord of real and fake herbs. And only those with good discerning eyes can know the real from the fakes in this place.

However for Joe Wang, either fake or real, as long as the herbs have aged, he can use them. Of course, getting a real aged medicinal herb is a must.

Looking around the place, Joe Wang noticed that although everything looks chaotic and lively, the vendors seem to work hand in hand to sell their wares. If one does not have something, they would point the buyers to another vendor who sells what the buyer needs.

"What a nice place." Joe Wang muttered as he takes in the mixed aroma of medicinal herbs in the air.

"Hey, Joe… what are we going to buy?" Melissa Krin asked as she walks beside Joe Wang.

He was awoken by her sweet voice looks at her. He carefully held her small and soft hands and immediately felt the warmth of her touch. Joe Wang smile as his goal in coming to this place is for the two of them to improve further their cultivation and to make some healing pills just in case.

He already expected some trouble in the future because he didn't kill those young masters and their thugs. Although he wanted to, if Melissa Krin would know what he did, then it will be more troublesome. Looking at the bright side, at least she can have some real-life practice in the future.

This thought made Joe Wang smile unconsciously.

"What? What's wrong?" she asks with a light blush on her face.

"Nothing, I just found you really likable." Joe Wang replied.

The two sweetly walks the street while their hands are held together.

Unknown to them there are two people following them from behind.

Because they are not showing any killing intent towards Joe Wang, he did not notice them. Plus, Joe Wang right now already has four spheres in his dantian and already almost reaching five. This is because there is still a lot of the karma energy residue still unrefined inside his dantian.

If he can refine them all, then his cultivation might even reach the 6th sphere.

"Hey, while walking… try to circulate your dantian." Joe Wang whispered.

"Really? I… I can do that?"

"Of course…"

"But… how? I mean… I can't concentrate." She said while frowning.

Joe Wang taught Melissa Krin how to absorb the Qi in her surroundings while being mobile. Though it would take her twice the effort, yet once she grabs the idea behind this technique, then her cultivation would become none stop.

The two slowly walks and bought something in the area.

Melissa Krin has now gotten hold of the technique and has absorbed enough Qi in the surrounding that made her body felt energized and strong.

"This is truly amazing. I… I think I'm about to break through." she muttered in a low voice.

"Re… really?" Joe Wang asked with astonishment in his eyes.

He already knew that Melissa Krin has just an average spiritual root. Her affinity which is water is the highest which is only around 60%. Hence her absorption of Qi and cultivation speed is average.

According to what Joe Wang has seen inside of Melissa Krin's dantian. Her spiritual root has five colors, which is where the passage of every Qi element she absorbs, red for fire, blue for water, green for earth, yellow for wind, and gold for metal.

He knows that there are more elements, but those are the only colors he observes in her spiritual root.

The two then walks towards a small restaurant and ordered something to eat. While waiting, Melissa Krin immediately grabs the opportunity to breakthrough.

It didn't take long for her to reach the 2nd level of the body refining realm, which made her very happy as she can feel stronger as spiritual Qi courses inside her body.

The two happily discussed and Joe Wang taught her more cultivation techniques.

"This woman has an average spiritual root, but her learning curve is monstrous. I can only say that she is a genius with a standard root… but as long as she figures everything faster, then her growth potential is unlimited. Unlike those so-called lucky geniuses in the cultivation land, she has more potential than meets the eye." Joe Wang thought.

Joe Wang suddenly noticed a spiritual fluctuation in one of the stalls outside which caught his attention.

"Stay here, I think I saw something that's useful." He said as he stood up and gave her the bag he is carrying which contains many herbs they bought.

Joe Wang walks towards a stall with an old woman who looks bored while looking at her mobile phone.

He noticed that she is actually reading something. But her eyes seem heavy and is about to fall asleep.

"Excuse me!" Joe Wang said as he approached.

While Joe Wang is away, the two young people who are following them suddenly made their move.

Their purpose is to exact revenge towards Joe Wang and Melissa Krin. While Joe Wang is there the two would never dare attack because they already learned their lesson. And judging from the way, he knocks their whole group at that time, he is like their masters who are not common people.

The two immediately walks towards Melissa Krin with an evil smile on their faces.

Secretly taking out a knife, one of them stood next to Melissa Krin and showing her the sharp knife on his hand.

"Don't move beauty… This is your unlucky day." The man said with a sneer on his face while his eyes controllably roam around Melissa Krin's body.

When he was standing next to her, he immediately smells the fragrant smell of her body which made him totally aroused.

The other guy sat opposite her on the table with an evil grin.

"You never would have thought to see us again, right? Miss beautiful…"

"We never dared touch you at that time because of the young masters. But today, we will have our fill. So if you don't want to get hurt, obediently follow us. Else you die in this place." the man threatened.

He can see Joe Wang's figure in the other corner of the street and he is a bit far from them. So that two are confident to finish their task before that young man could react.

However, their only mistake was thinking that Melissa Krin is a defenseless girl.

Their mindset was set because of her insistent and pitiful crying when Joe Wang was being beaten, and they never would have thought that in just two days she would already reach the 2nd level of the body refining realm.

"I'm not scared of you." Melissa Krin said as she clenched her fist.

Right now, she is very nervous and excited at the same time. Though she was scared of the knife, her confidence in taking it out is sky-high. She wanted to test out her strength and her first target is the man standing next to her holding a sharp knife.

According to what Joe Wang has taught her, there are many ways to take out that guy with the knife. And inside her mind, those ways are being shown as a movie film. Each movement and each style are being shown clearly.

Although Joe Wang only taught her the basic boxing style, this is a full knowledge injected within her mind like something being downloaded directly to her brain. All she has to do now is to act on it and test it out in real life.

Shadow practice is great to know the complete form, but actual practice is far more effective.

A glint of excitement immediately overcome the nervousness inside of her as she clenched her fist ready for the first fight of her life.
