Kelp City

As of now, the trio had decided to put away their cloaks in the space ring as a treasure that hides cultivation levels will bring unnecessary attention to them.

Their late levels in Spirit Formation while in the city would only have people believe their young talents, although Kazami and Kuzumi were still wearing their hand bands to hide their divine markings.

Back at the entrance of the city, Kuzumi was currently viewing throughout and perceiving the different atmosphere the city has compared to the star city.

It was more on the smaller side in size, but the people here most regard each other on the same level than what a certain usual level of pride frequently seen in God Realms.

Though Kazami had his mind focus on soothing to Lun Yuo as he gently hugged her back, she still held a small blush and pouting over the twins' recent actions.

"Ok, ok, Kuzumi did apologize right, don't be so mad ok? Please?" He was tenderly stroking her hair and whispering hotly into her ears causing Lun Yuo to relent telling him,

"Haaah, fine! But next time, I-I'll teach you a lesson Kuzumi!"

"Teach me a lesson, yet you clearly enjoyed it."

"What was that?!""Now enough of that, let's mosey in already, we need to find a shop anyways," Kazami placated the girl dragging them in the city before another banter broke out.

"Would you look at this brother, seems some high-class people are in a rush." Gazing over too what she also mentioned, the trio saw a remarkable looking carriage led by armor horses and armor men.

"Make way for the Yellow Sky clan!" Shouted from someone inside the carriage, and as they instructed, everyone made a clear path.

What they were heading towards were large interconnected buildings that hosted many people there.

Getting an idea Kazami approached a random man in the crowd asking;

"Excuse me, but what has gotten them so worked up?"

Turning around, the man didn't mind the question, and seeing his appearance; he felt no ill will towards Kazami.

"Ah, you don't know? You must be new here; that was a relatively strong clan around these parks trying their luck with the strongest sect in this city, the Great Cloud sect."

"Trying their luck?"

"Yea, seeing your appearance, you should try to for the young division. Apparently, for this special time, the Great Cloud sect has tested on whether one can go on some important mission. But the reward if one can contribute to the mission is one can join the sect permanently!" Finishing the man had a twinkle in his eyes, wanting to try his luck as well.

"Ah, I see." Kazami, however, was apathetic towards it and didn't change his expression.

"Huh, don't misunderstand while we may be the lowest-ranked province in the Western Plain Region; this region is still 2nd out of all the four big regions for a reason, and the Great Cloud Sect is a prime example of that. From what I heard, the sect master, grand elder, and ancestor are in the Heaven King Sea realm! Not even those 3rd ranked province in the lower regions can boast about that many Heaven King Sea cultivators in one sect if they even have any!"

Kazami, this time put on a surprised expression but still wasn't very impressed. While his parents didn't want the trio to be focused on later realms and only focus on the Spirit Formation realm, they still know about the Divine paths and God's path, leading to Kazami thinking it's only alright.

"Wow! That is something, alright, I think my partners and I will take this test thanks for the info. Oh, and one more thing you know where we can sell beast corpses?" The man pointed to a silver building with a symbol of a crystal on it and nodding towards the man Kazami went back to Kuzumi and Lun Yuo.

"So find anything useful?" Lun Yuo asked while the crowd was already dispersing after the Yellow Sky clan left.

"For starters, the region we're in is called the Western Plain Region, and it's supposedly 2nd rank out of four on this planet. What we're in now is the weakest province of this region, but still that Great Cloud sect seems stronger than strong provinces of weaker regions."

"Looks likes this great sect is doing some grand event for the common people, eh?" Processing the information Kuzumi asked.

"You're right in a way, from what I got told they're holding some special test for a mission the sect is going to take. And I thought this might be a good way to gain a foothold and some power." Thinking about it, Kazami already had a plan in mind on how to proceed.

"First thing first, though. Selling this beast corpse and gaining some currency." Lun Yuo said to them and nodding his head Kazami told;

"Follow me I just got directions on where to sell it." Making their way to the trading center, they notice how unique looking on the outside it is, and on the inside, it was certainly spacious and had a decent amount of people shopping in it.

The place holds many weapons, talisman, armor, jade tablets for cultivation skills, or select clothing all for a cultivator needs.

They strolled over to the buyer of the shop, and what greeted them was a man who looked like he was in his thirties wearing an indifferent smile.

Corpse already in hand Kazami said;"Hello, we found this beast corpse way off around this city and would like to trade it in."

Gazing on the corpse, the man was somewhat surprised;"If it isn't that weird hedgehog monster, it seems like you kids certainly got lucky! What do you want to trade it in for?"

They thought for a moment they weren't in a rush for skills, nor did they feel any weapons or armor in here worth it, so Kazami decided on;

"Just jade crystals will suffice."

Taking a moment the man pulled out four green jade crystal stones telling them;

"I can give you two green jade crystal stones which are equivalent to 200 blue jade crystal stones."

"We'll take it, oh, and do you know of a place where we can gather information?"

With a growing knowing look the man directed them with;

"Ah, fresh calves on the street, eh? Well, take a left straight from here, and you'll see a black and white building with a scroll symbol it's hard to miss."

Thanking the man, they completed the transaction and made their way over to the scroll building.

"Wait, wait, just wait a minute! Don't tell me we're going to waste time in a damn library!!" Complained Kuzumi finding such a task utterly dull.

"Consider it your punishment for always constantly teasing me." Lun Yuo snorted and said, dragging her inside the building.

Kazami merely shook his head, entering the building, making a clear first step for their mission.
