Valkyrie (Val for short) was raised in a secure settlement- away from the wild beasts that roamed the Free Lands, including the humans that lived there. Her mother had sought to protect her from the ways of the wild Vikings, but a new threat to the colonists leave her no choice but arrange a marriage between her innocent daughter and the Viking Prince. 60 years had passed since the fall of modern civilization, but now it was up to Val and her prince to save both the Settlers and the Vikings from all out war.
