what has changed?

She decided to schedule an appointment with an ob so she can be prescribed with vitamins.
After making an appointment, she browsed and read some pregnancy precautions.
Her mind was so full of these thoughts her mood started to change.
When he came out from the shower, he saw his happy wife playing with her phone at the bed.
Looking at her, he was content.
His hard work is well paid with a happy wife.
"Hubby, can I do some changes in the house," she asked with a twinkle in her eyes.
His heart melted. "Of course. This is your house too."
She immediately sprang and hugged him.
"Thank you hubby. I will work hard and make our home warmer than summer! You look so tired. Rest first," she guided him to his side of bed and tucked him to sleep.
He still wanted to play with his wife but he's tired and she seemed busy with her new ideas.

The next morning, he woke up with a sumptuous breakfast and a note,
'Hubby, I have something on. I'm also gonna buy some stuff, If you are bored you can come shop with me, but if you are tired you can just rest at home, love-wife'
The first thing on her list that day is to have a check up. She found out that she's turning five weeks pregnant now. So nobody is trying to poison them! It's the pregnancy!
She cried again after the ultrasound because the doctor said she's really pregnant not with one but two little babies! She's having twins and both of them are healthy! She was so happy and sad at the same time. Should she tell him that they are going to have twins? She came back to her senses when the doctor gave her the vitamins and supplements prescription.
She immediately went to the grocery and bought some milk and fruits supplies.
She looked around and passed by the baby store. She can't help but stay there for long.
According to the article she read, she cannot buy a lot at this stage because it may not be used later. But still, she was able to swipe two big cribs that can be converted to bed when the children grow up. She asked it to be delivered next month since she will still be doing some renovation.
Before lunch, she received YaoFeng's call asking her where she is. When she gave him his location, he saw her sitting in the waiting area with a box of grocery and another shopping bag from the bookstore.
He loaded her stuff at the back and they drove home.
"I bought some books, can you please drop it at the other room before you help me with the foods, I'll sort them out later." she told him when they arrived at home.
She was opening the grocery box when he went up for the books.
She immediately hid the milk for pregnant woman and went back to sorting the foods.
When he came down, she's already feeling so tired.
"Hubby, I think I'll sit first on the sofa, I'm not feeling good," she said.
"I'll sort out the food," he suggested.
"Just put all of them in the fridge," she said.
All went well as she watched her husband do the work in the kitchen.

He was busy making food and had to leave for an emergency after they ate.
When her husband left, she immediately went to her old room and unpacked the pregnancy books she bought earlier.
She looked for her old chemistry books and exchange covers so that even if she's reading, he will not bother. She really wanted to share with him the good news, however, something tells her it's not yet time.

Auntie Wong called YaoFeng earlier because Elder Wong had a heart attack. He needs surgery and he went to support her. It was later when her sister arrived He Rong. The two of them waited until the surgery was over and now although he's safe, he's still under observation.
When he arrived home, he found a sleeping wife on the sofa and a dinner for him on the table.
He ate with a warm heart and cleaned up. Then he scooped his wife and brought her to bed.
He didn't know if he was tired or his wife was getting fat? Did he just not notice it since they are always together?

The next day, they went to the office together.
She loaded her books and was very excited. The office is her playground. She works, sleeps, reads and plays. What else could she ask for.
She lingered longer with the secretaries, before going inside the office.
The first thing she did was to pour herself warm water. According to the book, pregnant women needs plenty of water. Now that there are three of them in her body, she really needs a good supply.
When she looks at her husband, she can't help but be sad.
He said before that he didn't know Cheng MeiMei. But she just said he was her boyfriend in college. She mentioned something about her family. Probably, that was the time he was not yet somebody? Now that he's a stable man, her family can accept her after they apologize and realize their real feelings. Just like her brother Night and Gracie. Maybe, that's also why he doesn't want to talk about it? At the collaboration, she almost never saw her husband, but he and Cheng MeiMei were working together everyday during those times. She asked him if there's a female colleague but he said there was none. What if they still feel something for each other? If they did not break up before, then she's the third wheel? Didn't Cheng MeiMei said they needed closure? What if there's no need for closure?
At the beginning, she asked him if there's anymore secret. He said nothing more, but later on she found out his medical records. So.. now that his old time sweetheart is back, is she not important anymore?
The other day, she wouldn't know that they were together again if she had not overheard Cheng MeiMei calling him over the phone? Why did he not tell her that? He also went to their room straight not even touching her or kissing her. She's feeling depressed. Yesterday, he had an emergency-she was happy she was able to sneak behind his back putting the ultrasound results in her secret box and exchanging book covers, but he did not even mention it when they eat. Why? What has changed?
She have these thoughts at the back of her mind and it surfaces from time to time, still, she tried to focus on her books.

He was busy with work. He did not ask for her help since she always looks tired and she even snores when she sleeps, unlike before, she sleeps so light and he can wake her in the middle of the night to make love. This past week, she slept like a dead tired pig. He cannot wake her and she even snores.
He wanted to make her feel relaxed so he allowed her to just read or play inside his office.
He noticed that she no longer went inside her lab. But she's still reading chemistry books. Maybe, she's busy with something as the chemistry books she asked him to carry today are quite heavy. Sometimes, she's working on the floor plan of their house. Sometimes she's engrossed in writing in a notebook. His wife is busy and that's good, he thought.

Since Cheng MeiMei cannot find a chance to be closer to Xiao Yuyu, she decided to go up to her. If she's there that's good, if the CEO is there, that's much better.
