Only a Grand Empyrean?
Gasping, Shadow Six asked, "Then how do we stop him?"
Zhao Wen gritted her teeth, "Impossible! Clearly he's sensed Cai'er and his desire is like any child's. He wants to be with his father."
The two entered the hole that Little Lord had opened up and trembled at the sight before them. Like a line etched into the ground, Little Lord had cut out a person deep trench that directly ran through several courtyards to another hole.
"My palace! Godkiller! One day this Empyrean will make you pay!"
Hopping onto the other hole, Little Lord looked back. A beam flashed and suddenly, City Lord Zhang found he was missing a patch of hair.
"Lord, your hair!" gasped a servant.
Shadow Six stiffened and thanked the divinities he didn't attempt to stop the bunny.
Right now, City Lord Zhang looked like he had dog ears.
"My hair?" he asked, patting about. Feeling the empty space down the center of his head, City Lord Zhang's face blackened.
Zhao Wen whispered, "Lord Uncle, let's reverse and go around..Brother Zhang hasn't seen us yet."
Nodding in agreement, the two disappeared.
"Nooooooo!" boomed City Lord Zhang.
Outside the Sun Shrine, Vice Temple Master Jun looked up at the pillar of light shooting up into the sky.
This is was the first time in 15,000 years such a phenomenon had appeared.
Small Disaster King actually was able to garner the favor of the Sun Divinity?
Before Vice Temple Master Jun could fully recover from surprise, a voice yelled in the distance.
"Clear the way! Godkiller is rampaging!!!"
Godkiller!
Astounded, Vice Temple Master Jun turned about.
ZZZZZZZTT!
Two beams sliced through the base of a pagoda. Amid shrieks, smoke billowed as it collapsed.
A monk quickly ran forward and pointed frantically. "Vice Temple Master! Zhao Clan's guardian beast is making its way here!"
"Here!?"
"Godkiller is mighty!" roared a Zhao Clan guard.
Vice Temple Master Jin shot a look at Gu Jin. "Chief Gu, don't you think your Zhao Clan needs to give an explanation?"
"Glory to our Zhao Clan!"
"You all shut up!" roared Gu Jin.
"Well?"
Clearing his throat, Gu Jin said, "Vice Temple Master, people outside don't know but Lord Godkiller actually has a child-like mind. So much so, he views Youngest Master as his father! Most likely, Lord Godkiller sensed Youngest Master's presence."
Vice Temple Master Jin's face blanched. Imagining the little 5 year old Small Disaster King as a father....the father of disasters!!
Frowning, his face darkened like the unholiest of devils. Looking at both Gu Jin and Scholar Jin, Vice Temple Master Jun snarled, "Should your clan's Godkiller dares damage this sacred temple, you-you don't want to pay that price."
Scholar Jin shoved his elbow into Gu Jun. Beaming the greatest of smiles, he said, "Vice Temple Master, be assured. We merely have to inform Youngest Master and he definitely will take action to prevent any damage to the Temple.
Realizing Scholar Jin's intention, Gu Jin immediately disappeared to inform Tian Cai. Two breath's later, he returned.
"Scholar Jin, Youngest Master, he-he's not there!"
"Eh!"
At the gates of the Temple, Little Lord landed with a hop. He looked up towards the sun. Just a moment ago, Tian Cai's presence had vanished and the bunny was able to trace him to the sun. He pattered about in frustration.
In a hidden realm, the Sun Divinity appeared in golden robes. Slamming an empty cup on the table, he exclaimed, "Another!"
Before him, Tian Cai held a jar and quickly refilled the cup.
"Young'un you being able to offer so much Aged Fire Wine really is a nice repose."
"Lord, this one was informed that you greatly liked Aged Fire Wine from Sixth Heaven."
Finishing the cup, the Sun Divinity motioned for another. "An eon or so ago, indeed the Fire Wine was the best. However, it wasn't due to the flavor but because it was simply the strongest wine the little ones could brew down below."
Pouring out another cup, Tian Cai assumed the role of a bartender. "Is the Aged Wine not like it was?"
"Young'un you misunderstand. Pretend you eat the same thing for a 100 years."
"Is this why you no longer respond?"
"Yes, one jar simply cannot incite my taste buds. However, these dozens are like one good long swig."
"Lord, may this one have a small taste?"
The Sun Divinity peered curiously at Tian Cai. "Young'un although your soul age is nine times that of your bone age, you drinking may not be appropriate."
Tian Cai gasped, "You-You know my true age?"
"It's easy to tell you're not originally from the Nine Chaos Heavens. My younger brother from your world is strange and aloof. I detect his aura within your soul. Do you perhaps know his name?"
Tian Cai shook his head in blank disbelief. First, the Sun Divinity recognized his true soul. Second, Earth's sun was actually younger than him and also had a soul??"
"Has he not made contact with the little ones from your world? Mayhap he hasn't awoken yet and is a late bloomer?"
"Lord, in my old world I would be considered an adult. Also, I was a well known connoisseur of food and drink."
Unbeknowst to anybody in old life, Rey actually had a closet chock full of empty liquor bottles. Few knew, he was a heavy drinker and it was his great inspiration for winning many a game.
"Very well, only a very tiny weensy sip," said the Sun Divinity. With a flick of a finger, a cup made of light appeared before Tian Cai.
Accepting it, Tian Cai said, "This one thanks the Lord for his graciousness." Quickly, he poured out two fingers worth of the wine and sipped.
Smacking his lips several times, Tian Cai said, "This is the strongest? This is so weak, it couldn't jump start a rocket."
"What's a rocket? Weak? You really think it's weak?"
"Lord, in my old world we had several strong drinks. This Fire Aged Wine is truly considered trash in comparison."
"Impossible! I searched long for the strongest drink in the Nine Chaos Heavens, for this to be so weak?"
"If you want strong you can't be drinking wine. What you need is whisky, bourbon or vodka."
"Are those wines?"
"No, in my old world they are called hard liquors."
Bam!
Smacking his hand down on the table, the Sun Divinity demanded, "You-You bring me some right now so that we can have a taste."
Outside the secret realm, flares erupted in all directions on the sun's surface.
Few noticed the flare up in the heavens. However in Ninth Heaven, peak Grand Empyreans directly sensed the disturbance.
And in Third Heaven, a certain bunny known as Godkiller noticed as well.
"Dada, son sees you."
Deep within the depths of the endless star sea, an eye slowly flicked open. Many galaxies filled the spans of the iris. Shifting, the pupil actually focused on the Sun above the Nine Chaos Heavens.
In the secret realm, the Sun Divinity immediately looked up.
"Eh!"
"Lord, is there a problem?" asked Tian Cai. Visibly, he noticed the Sun Divinity's legs start to wobble.
In a galaxy, hidden deep in the recesses of the pupil was a massive sun. It was so large, that sun in the Nine Chaos Heavens would be like a pebble next to it.
In a vast platform, the soul of the Sun Divinity appeared. Immediately, he shook at the scene before him. Prostated on his hands and knees was the owner of that massive sun. In fact, he was considered the Emperor of all Suns. Normally, the Sun Divinity wasn't even qualified to request an audience from him. Now, he was actually prostrating!!?
"Fool! Kneel or the Lord will end you with but a thought?" hissed the Sun Emperor.
Lord!
The Sun Divinity collapsed to knees, the coldest chill nailing him to the ground. Suddenly, he felt a hand grab his head and forcibly slam it against the cold platform.
"What did you do? Kowtow like he's the ancestor of our progenitor because he is!" hissed the Sun Emperor.
"Oh Great Lord, this lowly one greets you!" exclaimed the Sun Divinity, not even daring to look up.
An icy voice said, "So who are you to harass a junior like that one from the Third Heaven?"
Harass!
The Sun Emperor's eyes blinked. Shiny little veins popped in the pupils of his eyes. The fool actually messed with a person under the Lord's protection?
"L-Lord, I wasn't harrassing him. That young'un Zhao Tian Cai was calling on me for a favor."
"Who are you to call him young'un? Little Sun Emperor, it seems your subordinate doesn't know who he's dealing with. How about I send the both you to visit the nearest blackhole, huh!" said the voice.
Pressure slammed the two Sun Divinities to the floor. Face contorting uncontrollably, Sun Emperor spat, "Fool..you treat this Zhao Tian Cai like he's your progenitor."
Crying, the Sun Divinity said, "Lord! Forgive me, the honorable Young Master desired a favor."
The pressure lessened a bit to the point where to the two divinities could raise their heads. However, neither dared.
Snorting, the voice said, "What favor?"
"T-The Young Master desires a sun seed to practice his cultivation technique."
"He want's a sun seed? Well what are we going to do about this, Sun Emperor?"
The Sun Emperor stiffened. What did this have to do with him?
"Lord, this Emperor is mystified to idiocy and cannot fathom your intention."
"Do you think, the sun seed from a lowly Divinity is good enough to pass down?"
The Sun Emperor's eyes constricted. Clearly, for a being under the Lord's protection...indeed his subordinate was unqualified. Gritting his teeth, he said, "This one will gladly offer his own..."
"You think your qualified," snorted the voice.
The Sun Divinity hissed. Even the Sun Emperor's sun seed was unqualified?
The Sun Emperor's face blackened.
"Hand yours over anyway. Even though it is unqualified, it can serve as a vessel."
Digging deep with his body, The Sun Emperor pulled out an incandescent blue spark. The Sun Divinity trembled. The aura emanating from the spark was a thousand times purer than his own.
With cupped hands, the Sun Emperor offered it up. "Lord, this one happily fulfills your command."
Suddenly, a tiny particle blazed into exist and immediately, the two divinities felt the need to bow.
"Cosmic Seed," wheezed out the Sun Emperor in disbelief.
