Which child living in the Huang estate hadn't heard of Huang Yang. He was only seven, yet his power was well beyond his age. He was apparently already at the seventh stage of the opening realm.
To most of the youngsters out there, it only got better once they knew that he was adopted. This only meant that they would have a chance like him. Maybe they possessed enough talent to journey into the inner estate.
It even became known that the idea of recruiting more of the common servants, was the boy's own idea. He wanted to find talent and nurture them, or maybe he was just a bit lonely.
Whatever the reason was, it hardly mattered to the people who had been wishing for just one chance to prove themselves. This small group of six children had been selected as the most talented from the younger generation.
They each held enormous amounts of gratitude towards Huang Yang. Unfortunately, they hadn't gotten the opportunity to properly thank him for all he did, as he had gotten himself rather injured in the fight against Huo Yu Bo, who was now known as the outer disgrace, which people preferred not to talk about.
In this world where power rules supreme, people easily change their thoughts regarding other people. They used to wanna suck up to Huo Yu Bo and Huo Shan, but now they remember him with disgust. Most of them did at least.
The main family was still divided into two factions, but most people completely ignored everything regarding Huang Hong along with the people backing him. All the outsiders who had now gotten the chance to cultivate routed for the patriarch, many hadn't even seen Huang Hong for some time.
It was known that the other faction which many saw as the traditional faction, carried great contempt towards all people not from high birth. They hated the idea of former mortals being able to cultivate alongside them.
Perhaps this was simply human nature. People will almost always desperately cling to their small status which may just be a tiny bit higher than others.
Nevertheless, many hardly noticed them anymore since they didn't show their faces. The positive thing was that the Huang family was growing more and more.
The group of kids all chatted happily while going towards the mountain with Huang Hao and Pen Min. They all had great smiles while some of them laughed from time to time.
"Hey, hey, have any of you ever met young master Yang?", Li Feihui asked with an eager face. They hardly talked about things like this, since all they ever talked about was training.
"Well I don't want to brag, but I once showed him my sword art after which he praised me!", Zhou Ru said with a proud smile while thinking about what happened in the cold forest that night. Her thoughts made the memory a bit more obscure than it actually was.
"He was properly just impressed about himself not falling asleep HAHA", said Xiao Ling with a teasing smile on her lips, while Xiao Jin laughed with her. When they heard that they shared the same surname as Huang Yang's mother, they both jumped with joy, unfortunately, they couldn't prove that they were related to him in any way.
"I met him when he was fighting Huo Yu Bo and Huo Shan", said Hao Hai with his childish voice.
"REALLY?! Tell me everything!", Li Feihui said with great excitement until he felt a hand chop down on his head.
"Idiot he's blind, he couldn't see the fight", said Yu Jian with a monotone voice. He was normally not really that upbeat, but even he had to admit that he was looking forward to seeing this great genius, hopefully, he could see him fight.
"Don't talk too much about it when we get their kids, he was badly injured after the fight, so let us just focus on cultivation when meeting him, okay?", Huang Hao said while turning his head towards them.
"Okay master, but I really wanna know about the fight!", Xiao Jin said while looking up as if daydreaming. The others all nodded while almost dreaming with her. Such a fight was still way beyond their league.
"Ha! Why would anyone care about the fight between two pieces of trash!", said a childish voice, filled with ridicule and disgust.
The children all turned to look, along with Huang Hao and Pen Min, anger was clearly visible on their faces. What they saw was a group consisting of three individuals.
Standing in the middle was a burly man with great muscle density, wearing yellow robes. He had facial hair covering his jawline, along with short blond hair on his head. His steps were steady and his aura dominating, it was clear that he was not the one who just spoke.
Walking a couple of steps behind him was a thin middle-aged man who wore purple robes. His body hardly had any meat on it, but his height was nothing to scoff about. He had a small mustache and black hair going down to his neck.
The last person was a youth. He looked to be about ten years old and had black pupils. He walked with a straight back and a small smile on his face. His robes were purple and his hair black, yet when the sun shined on him, I almost gave off a purple hue.
The way he carried himself showed that he was born rich and with high standards. He looked at the group of children with scorn in his eyes.
"This really is a lowlife family, they even have to take in mortals humph!", said the tall thin middle-aged man who clearly matched the boy.
"Zhu Mu, Zhu Tian... I allowed you to follow me, but act respectfully!", said the burly man with a grunt. While it appeared as though he cared, his voice held no trace of emotion. What they did, hardly seemed to matter.
His cold eyes looked at Huang Hao and Pen Min. He showed no politeness or respect, since they were from a small family, at least compared to him.
"I apologize on behalf of those two... My name is Yan Gong, the future patriarch of the Yan family!", he said with a deep voice. He clearly carried with him great pride stemming from his future status. He was in a way like Huang Shi, but quite a bit older, he simply had a child a bit later.
Hearing the statement Huang Hao nearly froze completely. He knew full well who this was, the future father-in-law to Huang Yang.
It had been planned for quite some time now that Huang Yang was going to marry, the granddaughter of the Yan's family patriarch. This man was meant to be the next, which clearly told him that Yan Gong was here to meet his future son-in-law.
While Huang Hao was still frozen in his place out of shock. Pen Min held the same face as always. He had already chosen what he thought about his student's future father-in-law. He didn't like him.
"You are earlier than expected, but I am sure that Huang Yang is looking forward to seeing you", Pen Min said with a deadpan expression. He really wanted a drink.
He leaned his body slightly until he could clearly see the other two, hiding behind Yan Gong. Pen Min had traveled the world and met different sects and families, so he obviously knew about them.
"May I ask what the future patriarch of the Zhu family, Zhu Mu, and his son Zhu Tian is doing here, simply following their guardian perhaps?", Pen Min said with a slightly teasing smile.
The words awoke Huang Hao as he understood how disrespectful his words were. Asking if a person such as Zhu Mu needed a guard, was already bad enough, but calling Yan Gong nothing more than a guardian to another family, just lead to disaster.
"I'm here to teach your master, that he doesn't have the qualifications to look at junior sister Yuhan... a piece of trash like him should stay where he belongs!", Zhu Tian said with disgust and a face full of wrath.
Yan Yuhan was Huang Yang's fiance, but many young masters had been coming to her for marriage. Each and every one had been turned down, due to her already being engaged.
Pen Min's eyes sharpened. This Yan Gong had likely journeyed here earlier than expected since he had to find out if this Huang Yang even had a slight amount of talent. If Huang Yang wasn't good enough in his eyes, he would simply call of the wedding, not caring about the disgrace.
Pen Min's eyes narrowed, while the children looked at Zhu Tian with great anger. The tense atmosphere only lasted for seconds before Pen Min gave a quick smile.
"You can of course see him, but remember this, with your meager amount of strength, you don't have the qualifications to test Huang Yang..."
