Personal Talk

The first thing Huang Yang really wanted to do, was go an meet the children his own age, but then again, who could blame a young boy for that. While he wasn't really the type to play, he enjoyed the presence of others his age.

He had seen that his family was happy after hearing Yan Gong's words. They were all getting ready to serve some food and drinks. His father and grandfather had long had a feeling about how this day would go, so they weren't surprised.

While some servants began making things ready, Huang Yang walked over to the group of six children.

As if he was a celebrity, he garnered the attention of them all within seconds, in reality, they had been looking at him the entire time.

This was quite normal since he was a hero in their eyes. The person in the group who looked most up to him was naturally Hao Hai. Huang Yang had saved his life and even vanquished those he saw as demons.

Zhou Ru was acting alright since she had met him before. She wasn't the fangirl type, but she looked up to his martial arts and wanted to get closer to him.

Li Feihui on the other hand, appeared as though he was a blond fangirl who had posters of Huang Yang hanging on her walls at home. He was a true fanboy, who looked at him as one would look at a divine being.

His eyes never diverted from him, while they gave off blue sparkles. When greeting him, he had a hard time getting his words across, but still somehow managed to say a little hallo.

"Did you meet your crush?", the Xiao twins said with an over the top chuckle, which greatly embarrassed him.

They didn't act all that differently but did show more interest and respect. It was normal for them to make fun of people, as they enjoyed putting on a teasing smile, even if they had just met the person they teased. But they lonely showed sweet smiles when Huang Yang greeted them.

The last person was Yu Jian, who had a mature aura, he gave a friendly smile but was overall quite quiet. Huang Yang sighed with relief when he met him since he would likely be able to hold a normal conversation or simply focus on training.

However, Huang Yang didn't have the ability to see Yu Jian's real thoughts. His head was filled with Huang Yang holding his sword in a magnificent manner while looking down on Zhu Tian.

Yu Jian was a great talent in many ways and held a great attachment to his sword. He also prided himself on his efficiency in dual-wielding, along with his two elements. In some ways, it was positive that he was born among servants, as this stopped his ego from going overboard, he now had the ability to accept when people were above him.

The slightly awkward chatter was interrupted by Xiaotian who came diving down towards Huang Yang's shoulder.

Light sparkled in Zhou Ru's eyes as she remembered something. "Brother Yang, you should come to see the cave we found not long ago, we think that it houses a strong beast!", she said.

Huang Yang quickly found interest in this as he may have a chance to practice once again... the only thing he ever thought about.

"Sure, sounds fun, let us just go now then", he said with an easy-going smile. He would soon have to study smithing, so he really wanted to get in some fighting.

"Little Yang, mind if we talk privately?", said a voice coming from behind him. He turned around, while the other children looked towards the voice. It was Yan Gong. He was currently holding a beverage, while leisurely drinking at times.

Huang Yang quickly nodded with haste before taking off after him. They didn't walk far, likely since Yan Gong knew that Pen Min would see them no matter what, but since he wasn't going to do anything bad to the kid, he figured it didn't really matter.

After they had reached a fair distance, he swiped his ring which brought out a couple of chairs along with a high-quality wooden table. "Take a seat", he said.

Huang Yang's eyes almost popped out in shock. He had already seen a great deal of things in his short life, but he had never seen furniture spawn out of nowhere.

His fascination with the ring was unfiltered which meant Yan Gong could clearly see the entire thing. He couldn't help but slightly chuckle.

"This is an interspatial ring, great to store stuff like this when traveling... I believe that your father and grandfather both possess one, which they received from the Radiant Sword Sect", Yan Gong said with a faint smile.

Huang Yang hardly said anything, as his thoughts had wandered off, "How easy would life be if I possessed this... I can take food with me everywhere". He didn't have to worry about starving when one day would be going out into the world.

"You have greatly impressed me little Yang... It is a pleasure that our two families will be joined through the marriage of you and my daughter", he said. He clearly had a goal. He needed Huang Yang to be attached to the Yan family so that he would support them in the future.

He knew far too well, what power could do to people. They would act on their emotions and not care about professional or formal agreements. Had a family helped them out in the path, many would repay them tenfold, even if it went against their morals.

"I find myself very lucky... It's an honor that the Yan family thinks so highly of me", Huang Yang said. He had gotten a grasp of people with high status, thanks to the reminders of his family. It was the sad truth that people had to be respectful to others, even though they didn't like them.

With how it stood now, Huang Yang had no reason not to like Yan Gong, since he was the father of his fiancé and had treated him well since they saw each other.

But had he known what would have happened, if he didn't possess great talent and strength well beyond his age? He might never have wanted to look at Yan Gong again, as he would have disrespected his family.

"You are a good boy little Yan, sadly I can't stay much longer, but I am looking forward to watching the tournament which begins in about a year, my little girl will get quite the surprise", Yan Gong said before chucking to himself, while he allowed his imagination to see his idea of the future.

"I am looking forward to meeting the princess", Huang Yang said. From what he had heard, young girls with great talent, from prominent families, often receive the name princess, and since he didn't know her name, he felt that calling her princess would work.

With a slight chuckle, Yan Gong got up, readying himself to take his leave. "Before I go, the Yan family has decided to give a small give, which I now see is a good idea, since you seem to show interest", he said.

From his pocket came another ring. It was silver in color with a black stone in the middle. Unknown energy seemed to radiate from it, which drew Huang Yang's gaze, a light flashed in his eyes as he realized what it was. It was an interspatial Ring!

"Thank you very much!", Huang Yang said while bowing down in gratitude. He knew that this was a rare treasure for a person of his status. He was only at the opening realm and it was only normal to receive this item later in the last parts of the awakening realm.

It was normally the sects that would give them out, as a gift for the students who would go out into the world.

"HAHA no problem, I look forward to seeing you again", Yan Gong said with a deep laugh, before suddenly vanishing. The chairs and tables also flew with him.

He was of a high realm, so while he couldn't fly, he did have enough power to move extremely fast on foot, which allowed him to travel at a great pace.

Huang Yang simply strengthened his resolve to grow strong, before turning around and leaving. He was going to meet up with the children his age, as he wanted to see the cave. But first, he had to try his ring.

He allowed his qi to run towards it and with a thought he placed his sword within the ring, out of sight out of mind. He felt that this would allow him to hide his weapons if he ever wanted to sneak in somewhere, or maybe just wanted a place for food.

He turned around to look at where he had met the group and took off. He knew what he wanted. Strength.

He would therefore need to explore even the darkest corners.
