" Is that all for today, Jones?" I signed the last file from the pile he brought and waited for him to answer.

" Yes sir. That's all for today" he replied shortly and left the room after getting a nod from me to leave.

I was about to pack my stuff and hit home but the ring from my phone made me halt my steps. It was a call from Ananya.

Is she calling to ask for more money after swiping my debit card dry?

Rolling my eyes, I picked the call leisurely.

" Yes, Ananya..." I said plainly. But what I heard shook my world. Panic took over my senses and the next thing I knew was, me driving at full speed towards where my sister was.

Ananya...this better not be a fucking joke.
