The door opened and her gaze locked on to a familiar down turned eyes. When the person infront of her caught who she was, their eyes glazed and it turned fire the next second.
Gritting her teeth, she held Aizhe's hand tightly; Dragging her through the the huge hallways and passing by the shocked maids, Li Na didn't care about the injured and limping girl.
Aizhe felt the familiar pain gushing throughout her whole body but she held it in. She noticed the fire in Li Na's eyes earlier. She knew something happened and that had to do with her. The looks she was given everytime she passed by the maids was enough to prove that.
She bear the pain and let Li Na carried her to wherever she want.
"Leave us alone! Now!" The maids who were cleaning the grey patterned marble floor looked up with a wide eyes and parted mouth as they hesitantly walked away.
There was no one who didn't know about the Li famillies argument now. Everyone knew the temper the Young Mistress carried whenever she faced the Second Young Mistress. For them, Li Na was like the blazing fire who would swallow everyone in her red burning flame and Aizhe was like the cold, swaying ocean waves who was really calm at first but really thundering when the air changed.
When Li Na came to a stop, Aizhe shook her wrist off from her grasp and held on to it. It was bright red and her long nails even left scars behind. She looked up at Li Na and with a ferocious look and tone asked her;
"What is this behavior Li Na? What is wrong with you?" She looked at her face to face as she asked. She didn't hesitate nor got scared, as she looked at her with a dissatisfied look.
Hearing her questioning tone, Li Na scoffed and started to laugh the next moment. She kept laughing as she held her stomach and tears oozed out of her eyes. Seeing the scene infront of her, Aizhe's brow furrowed and she looked hesitant for a second.
"What are you laughing at?" She asked. Li Na heard her and her screeching laugh suddenly stop. She wiped the tears away and turned to her with a flaring look. She raised her hands and slapped Aizhe with a thundering sound echoing throughout the room.
Aizhe not being able to believe the situation, held on to her aching cheeks. Her cap fell down from the impact and her face tilted upwards as her calm eyes changed their gaze.
She looked down at Li Na's red painted nails holding on to her wrist. She pushed her away with force and with a warning tone spoke up.
"Don't you dare." She held on to her aching wrist and her anger rose when she looked back at Li Na. She felt agitated and couldn't hold back anymore.
She raised her hands and slapped her with an equally, thundering slap. Li Na swayed in her steps and felt her ears block from the impact.
Red, clear fingerprints were seen and the girl held her cheeks in shock.
"What do you think, huh? Did you enjoy? Remember Li Na, you do not own me! Neither does those who fill your brain day and night."
Seeing her angry expression, Li Na hesitated and looked back at her vehemently.
However, Aizhe didn't falter and kept her stare fixated. Li Na enjoyed picking on her everytime she ignored her behavior. Aizhe wasn't the type to witness bully or let herself be bullied. She knew when to speak and when to stay out. Seeing her behavior get worse day by day, she decided not to let her fan her wings anymore.
Li Na felt like she lost as she stared at her angrily. She still held on to the right cheek and her eyes burned with fire.
Not being able to take it anymore, she dashed towards Aizhe and pushed her away, but Aizhe was a step ahead and dodged it. She looked at Li Na with a dissatisfied look and moved back as she questioned.
"Li Na, for lord's sake, what do you want from me?"
Aizhe sighed. Since the day, she had set foot on to this mansion, Li Na was against and hella bent on insulting her. There wasn't any day she had let her off.
Day and night, she would plot with her mother. Just because she was considering her uncle and his family, these two were getting out of hand.
Li Na looked at her and her anger rose instantly. She answered back with an exasperated and agitated tone.
"What do I want? You are seriously asking me that? She pointed at Aizhe, making it sound like the answer was as clear as water.
"You fooled my father and want to take over our family.." Li Na said as she clasped her hands tightly in anger.
"You ruined my happiness! You think you will be a 'Li' just like that? Dream on. I will never let that happen!"
Aizhe looked at her and sighed upon hearing her grudges.
Aizhe might not know Li Na really well, but now she knew that this young girl was really immature.
She was so insecure and uncomfortable by Aizhe's sudden entrance. But thinking from her perspective, who wouldn't be?
The real master mind was someone else. And Aizhe knew that the more she stayed in this family, the more people will make it harder for her to survive.
She was always determined and never lived off from any ones money. Aizhe bitterly smiled as she made up her mind. She had her own pride and she couldn't see it shatter day by day in this household.
She looked up at Lina and replied to her. "Don't worry, you don't have to work hard for that. I promise to not take anything from this family.."
Hearing that, Li Na for a split second was taken back, but then she tilted her head and smirked proudly.
"Trust me, you will not.." Seeing the situation and hearing her words, Aizhe's heart beat increased and she felt something was off for a sec.
She looked around the grand living room and noticed that no one was there beside them.
She looked back at Li Na and her curiosity grew more. She held on to Li Na's shoulders as she asked her worriedly.
"Did something happen while I was absent?"
