Ai looked at the girl and she realized something was not right. She held Aizhes hand and wiped the perspiration on her face. "Aizhe, are you okay?"
Aizhe looked in to Ai and she couldn't hold on anymore. She dropped on to the floor and clasped in to her heart tightly.
Ai shrieked a bit which caused the other two to look at them. A tear slipped from Aizhe's eyes at that moment and she wished she wasn't in the office..
They saw her vulnerability and that was the last thing she would want them to know of her.
Ah Si dropped his pen to the desk and dashed towards her. He held her in his embrace and put her on the round maroon sofa next to the window. Her hands were slightly cold and she was breathing abnormally. He debated against calling the doctor and instead looked at everywhere and when he saw the jug and the glass next to it, he grabbed them immediately and filled water in to give it to her.
Aizhe drank the water with an absentminded head.
She wasn't feeling herself and forgot about her health. Everytime she thought of that evening, her heart would hurt. For the past eighteen years, she hadn't received any panic attack but now she was back on to the same spot.
Looking up, she noticed a pair of onze eyes looking in to hers deeply. Emotions were swirling in them and she didn't know what to do or say next. Sitting up properly, she took her hand bag and got the medicines in them.
She swallowed it and her slightly red eyes and aching heart calmed. It felt like she was given anasthesia, no senses or pain to feel at all. She dropped back to sofa and chuckled dryly. It echoed in the silent room and she felt more amused when she heard how her usual cheerful laughter sounded so fake currently.
Her laughter was that of a self pity than joy. It was mocking her for her vulnerability and her desperateness. She wasn't like this at all! She was outgoing, normal and a happy girl. She was the most cheerful girl ever. How did she end up like this?
Seeing her state, Ai held her mouth in shock and she looked away. She couldn't see her like this..it was heartbreaking to see..
"Aizhe, it is ok! We are not going to ask you anything, please rest for a while.."Lu Jung came forward and patted her head. He looked at Ai and they both left together from the room.
Ah Si was still looking at her with a fiery gaze. His eyes showed fire in them and his hands clasped tightly, making his knuckles turn pale white. His jaws clenched in and out as he felt emotions surrounding him everywhere
The aura was indescribable in the room and he breathed in and out multiple times to calm himself down. He took the warm black blanket next in the sofa and placed it on top of her laid figure.
Feeling the warmth spreading in her heart, Aizhe looked up to him with no emotions in her eyes. She looked like she was sucked away from her soul.
long ago. She sighed and held his hands, muttering a 'sorry'. She had ruined half of his day and always brought problems and difficulties for him.
Seeing her gaze was akin to knife stabbing being stabbed in his chest multiple times. He took away his hands and instead held her face which were soft land smooth like a baby. Her face temperature was a bit warm and her nose and eyes were light red from her earlier emotional outbreak.
He looked at her eyes which represented her entire self to him. She looked dazzling in his eyes and everything about her intrigued him. He came closer towards her and her gaze flickered the more he came closer towards her. His face was untainted and his onze dark black eyes were fixed on her cherry like face.
She felt grateful that he wasn't asking her anything at the moment as she truly had no answer to what happened to her. If she really put her mind in to race, she herself was unaware of why she was getting these attacks every time.
She only knew that everytime she was sad, she would feel restless and she would run back to her grandfather. He always had cure for everything.
When she realized the distances that was being cleared away between them, she looked at him with a wary look.
Her lips slightly parted and her eyes were windened. Her hands subconsciously held on to his suit tightly.
Ah Si looked down at her and he came more closer. He held her messy fringe, put them under her earlobes. He looked down and was now one steps away from her cherry red lips.
Her vanila scent and breath that smelled like a children's fruit candy engulfed his nostrils and that probed him to go more closer to her. Everything went slowly, yet their heartbeat made them think it was forever. His red thin lips touched her ones and they both felt a spark of electricity by the mere touch.
For some reason, Aizhe's widened eyes relaxed and she opened them slowly to glance at his fiery one. He looked like he didn't have any problem with their position either. His long lashes overlapped one another in a soothing manner. The dullness earlier was now replaced with a pure spark of fireworks. It was colourful and Aizhe felt butterflies in her stomach.
Their eyes were closed and they were enjoying every minute of it. They didn't stop for a while and continued until their breath didn't allow them to.
Aizhe took a deep breath in and blushed away when she realized what just happened. Her hands were still holding in to his suit and he gently took it away and raised it to kiss it. He smiled at her and wiped the tears which were dry on her cheeks.
"Aizhe, does it matter that life is filled with difficulties? Does it matter that we are all on the same boat yet can't help each other and does it matter if we are different? Because all that matters to me is you are next to me in this journey.."
He looked in to her eyes seriously as he poured his heart out one by one..
"Aizhe, you are my only friend and it is not because of your beauty, but because of your heart. I look at you, not towards your eyes but towards the purity that are hidden in those eyes and I like you not because you are different but because I realized how deep my heart and world wants you.."
He confessed with a closed eyes and a smile plastered on his face. He looked sincere. He held her hands tightly as he patiently waited for her reply.
