BuSheng

YuHan Pov:

We were finally able to enter the portal. When we walked through, we entered a market with loud noises. "YuHan, this place looks so interesting," ZiNuosaid as his eyes wandered around the place.

"Listen to Wu gongzi and do not touch anything."

"Of course."

"Grab onto one another's hand, do not get lost. Now give me your head, ZiNuo." WuQi held his hand out, and ZiNuo grabbed it.

Third Pov:

"YuHan, what are you doing? Grab my hand." ZiNuo grabbed YuHan's hand, YuHan's eyes widened from the sudden movement. Before he knew it, they were running off somewhere.

"Where are we?" ZiNuo asked with a breathy voice.

"This is the correct entrance to the gate of hell under the capital," MoQi winked before he snapped his finger and the gates opened.

"You can open the gates with a snap of a finger?" ZiNuo was in shock.

"Can you not see the people behind him near the gates," YuHan sighed.

"Can't you let someone have their moment and not ruin it?" YuHan looked the other way as ZiNuo was trying to express how he felt.

"Well, fellows, it's time for us to head in." We walked past the gates, "If at any time you get lost, come back to the gates. I assure you to look at clocks from each shop to keep track of time. You must get out of this place before dusk. The shops close, and the lights turn off. This part of the underground darkens, and no one has survived here an entire night. I repeat, do not lose track of time and touch BuSheng. I have to buy something here for a while. Meet me at the front gates before dusk." The two of them watched WuQi run off and out of their sight.

"Where do you want to go first?" ZiNuo asked as they slowly walked the streets.

"Looking at everyone here, they all have masks covering their features. It is best if we go to a store for new sets of clothes and masks. Then we can go check out this gambling place where BuSheng is at."

"Whatever you want."

After a couple of minutes, they arrived at a shop that sold clothes. ZiNuo looked at the clothes and picked out something black-colored, decorated with golden patterns. "YuHan, did you pick yours out yet?" ZiNuo turned towards YuHan's direction and walked to get closer to him. YuHan nodded. "You always wear white. When are you going to switch it up?"

"When I die."

"But when you die, isn't your corpse wearing white also."

YuHan stared at ZiNuo. "Which means the answer is never. Give me your clothes. Do you want any particular mask?" ZiNuo handed YuHan the clothes.

"No, so up to you," ZiNuo responded. YuHan walked to the cashier and paid for everything. YuHan handed ZiNuo the clothes back with a black-colored mask with gold-colored flowers, "Now go change in the changing room."

"You're pretty good at matching items with clothes, YuHan." YuHan stared into ZiNuo's eyes. "Jeez, understand, I'm going to change, Bai gongzi."

ZiNuo Pov:

I finished changing and walked out of the changing room to see YuHan wearing a white fabric veil hat. He moved the veil aside to look at me. "Are you going to wear your mask or what?"

"No, it's nothing," I shuttered. The more I observed him. I realized his hair was down.

"Anything wrong?"

"No, I just thought that you would never wear your hair down," I responded while putting my mask on.

"I wear my hair down every day at home, so it's nothing to be surprised about, and it's easier for me to scout later on when we get to the gambling place."

"Oh, okay." We walked out of the store and straight ahead near the end of the shops. There was an even bigger gate in front of us. "This should be where the gambling place is at." YuHan pushed the gate slightly for an opening, so we could walk through. Right as we entered, tables filled up the halls, and shiny crystals laid around the table.

"ZiNuo, be quiet, and let me do all the talking today, okay?" I nodded as we continued to walk to where a bar is at. "Hello, sir," YuHan greeted the bartender.

"Morning there, young man. Do you want to order a drink or something?" I sat on one of the chairs as YuHan did all the talking.

"Can I order mass amounts of BuSheng?" YuHan asked.

"Young man, you must be new to the business with BuSheng," the bartender laughed.

"So, there's no way to order these things."

"No way, no orders are taken, everything is gained by gambling, in these tables over there." The bartender pointed at all the tables filled with people wearing masks and tons of cash on the table. "If you're interested in getting mass amounts of BuSheng, try gambling them with other people. It's hard to win, well, that's what I heard from the people who buy drinks here."

"Who runs this place?"

"It's sort of predictable, under a capital with strict rules and guards," the bartender laughed.

"The Teng Sect I assume. When was this place created?" YuHan continued to ask.

"Well, it's run by the current Teng Sect leader, but he created the place way before he was the master of the Teng sect. You would think the man has all the money he needs. Why would he run this place still? Greed is the answer."

"Who wouldn't be baited by something like BuSheng, greed right? Everyone wants to be the best of the best, and this item attracts everyone."

"Greed is always the answer in the underground," the bartender smiled. I grabbed YuHan away from the bartender to somewhere where there weren't a lot of people.

"Let's not talk to all these people we don't know."

"But we need more intel on this place."

"We need intel on blowing this place up seems fun," I laughed.

"Blowing this place up is easy, but not dying along with the explosion is hard, Yin ZiNuo," YuHan spoke with a serious tone.

"A couple of exploding talismans and the gunpowder outside at the market do the job."

"What is wrong with you? What about the civilians above the undergrounds?" YuHan sighed.

"What is the use of this place anyway? As you said, people only come here for their desires, their greed is only becoming stronger if you let them keep coming to this place."

"We need a plan at least."

"Whatever."
