What I Call Beautiful "Boom"

Third Pov:

"Don't say whatever to me during these crucial moments."

"Sorry…"

"If you do come up with a plan, tell me about it. But for now, we have to figure out who takes part in this place." YuHan observed the environment.

"You know we can't figure out who these people might be without playing some of these games."

"Are you good at any of these games?"

"Nope, but I'm good with magical illusions." A light chuckle comes out of ZiNuo.

"The number of times you have surprised me cannot be counted by my finger anymore."

"But you should have your guard up around me. Who knows, maybe one day I'll change my mind and end your life on the spot."

"You," YuHan said with a heavy sigh.

"I will meet you back at the front gate!" ZiNuo said before running off.

YuHan Pov:

I watched ZiNuo run off into the distance. Why would he leave me here? Especially when I'm the one who is running low on mana. I got out of the gambling hall. I was back at the market. I went to the nearby alleyway and saw a weapon shop. I went into the store. Then I started looking at the items that were displayed on the tables. "Hello, there!" an unfamiliar voice greeted me. I looked up from the table. I see an old man who's wearing black-colored clothes with a mask on.

"Hello, there, sir," I responded.

"Do you need help with finding a particular item you might want?"

"Do you have needles?"

"Needles? That's an interesting choice."

"Anything else that the needle must have?"

"Other than good quality, there's nothing else that I want along with it."

"Come and follow me. I have a couple of sets of needles." The old man started to walk, and I followed. We were at the end of the store, at the corner.

"There are information cards with all of them. If you need any help, I'll be here to assist. Come to me or call for me."

"Thank you, sir." I looked around, and something sparkled at the corner of my eyes. It was a set of gold needles. Something about it made me feel drawn to them. I picked them up and headed to the counter. "I will pay for this," placing the set of needles on the counter.

"Finally, someone bought Wu Gen Wu Cao. My wife spent her last days on Earth making this set of needles. You have a good eye, gongzi. Please take care of them for me."

"Sir, you seem very attached to this set. I could pick another one if you want to keep this set."

"No, gongzi, I'm sure that my wife would have loved for someone to buy it."

"No...No, I know how it feels like. I would probably be like you and not sell the last item that someone gave me. It's like how my mother only left me a hairpin. I understand," I smiled slightly.

"I'm sure my wife would love to see a kind man like you appreciate her craft. If you want to buy it, you could. It's about time I close down this shop and pack my bags and leave this place. I'm sure my wife doesn't want me to stay in such a dark place. Do me a favor and buy it," the old man smiled as his eyes started to water.

"How much?"

"10 silver." I placed the silvers on the table. He handed me the needles in a red wooden box.

"Thank you for selling me something valuable to you." I smiled before leaving the shop. The wooden box in my hand disappeared as I stepped out of the door. As soon as I was out in the open, a group of grown men in their 30s surrounded me. "What do you guys want from me?" I asked as they got closer to me.

"What is a pretty thing like you doing here in the dark market," one of them spoke with a smirk on their face.

"What did you call me? My mother told me to use fewer words when I bump into bastards like you," I confronted him with a calm tone.

"What did you call me? Repeat it if you dare, weaklings like you belong at home doing chores and satisfying their partners." He grabbed my arm.

"Do not touch me with your filthy hands," I shouted. The man grabbed my hat and threw it at his men. One of them caught it and held it in their hands. I stared right into his eyes. "You think that you can touch me without both of your hands chopped off by the end of this?"

"Why would I be scared of a fragile guy like you?"

"Because you will," my sword appeared in my right hand, the blade shining in the dark. Loud explosion sounds come out of nowhere. I got rid of the grip the man had on my head and immediately attacked his men. I knocked them out with their weak points and put my blade against the man's neck. "I will let you go this time. If I see you in the future harassing anyone else, you won't be thinking about having kids, and your head would be on the ground. Those hands of yours, think about doing that again. They will be gone." I ran out of the alleyway to look at the front gate of the gambling hall, blown up with a huge hole in the middle. "Yin ZiNuo, where are you?" I shouted. What did he do this time?

People were running and scattering all over the place. I ran in the opposite direction of everyone, the gambling hall. I observed the explosion and the bodies on the ground. "Yin ZiNuo! Where are you?" I shouted again.

"I'm right here," I heard a faint reply. I went over to the nearby crates, where I heard the voice come from. A hand grabbed onto the crate, and ZiNuo popped out, swatting on the crate.

"I told you to tell me about the plan, and here you go, blowing up the gambling hall."

"Sorry about that, it's all my fault. I accidentally got caught, so I had to set off all the bombs I planted. I was going to tell you, but the guards came first."

"Moran." I wiped the dust on ZiNuo's face with my sleeve.

"Stop, you will get your clothes dirty," he grabbed my hand, stopping me from wiping his face.
