It has been weeks since my world fell apart. Thankfully, Adrian let me stay with him. He even helped me find a job in a nearby restaurant. It works out because he works nights there as a bartender. I bought a small rolling bed with some of the money from the deposit and gave Adrian some money for rent. We've performed several times over the past month, which has helped me save up some more cash.


Thankfully, it only took a few days for my scrapes and bruises to heal. I spent most of my time trying not to think about Gideon's betrayal. After coming back to Adrian's apartment that night, I cried for hours until I fell asleep. Adrian was my only source of solace. I still have nightmares of Carlson's abuse, but I've learned to toughen through them.
