Chapter 11

Arriving at school, like always Aika always found herself isolated from the other child. Well, it's their fault to be so weak that they will get intimidated by her aura alone, that's what's going on inside her small head every morning. But, deep inside her heart, she wants someone who doesn't get scared by her aura. She also wants to live a normal school life, gossiping with her friends, walking home together, pajama party, and the other. But until now, even when she already started to grasp her power and try to suppress her own aura, they still get intimidate easily. That's why she just closed herself, knowing there's literally noone among her peers that won't get scared by her. But, all of that changed after she met with one strange boy, who suddenly just enter her life. Looking at him, who adore her, she felt her heart flutter with happiness, and anxiousness. Why? Because she is afraid getting betrayed. That's why until now, she still doesn't let him get close to her.

Aika - (*sigh* Really, life is really unpredictable. Some random boy I met accidentally on the street, suddenly became my family member. *sigh* Well, whatever. I'll deal with it eventually. Let's start reading another book to forget all of my problem for a moment)

With Aika still confused about Valir, one pair of eyes watching over her with interest. Well, who else is it if not Stheno. This time, she fully concealed her presence entirely so even with Aika instinct, she still doesn't aware of it. Thinking this task will be more interesting than it seems, Stheno moves from her initial place to the school, so she can observe her with more detail.

Stheno - (*ufufu, seems like this girl really like reading book. Hmmm, if I'm not wrong, this book is called novel, right? Well, no matter, it's not like I will read it. Ufufu, can't wait to report it to master. I'm sure with this it will be more easier to get favorable impression from him.)

Unaware that Valir, already know about it, Stheno continue her task while our MC back home is having a nap because he can't think what to do in the meantime. Don't forget, Orion is still punish by his goddess :D

(Afternoon)

Locking the door to the house, Valir is hunting some food for his lunch. With money from Mayami, which can be considered overbudget for lunch, he start to look at some of the family restaurant nearby. This thing is happening continously until he find one not really good looking food stall nearby. He doesn't know why but he has some kind of familiarity with that stall. Thinking for a brief of moment, he decide to go to that stall. He is sure his luck is playing its role so he want to see what will he get. Maybe he will find something good, noone knows right?

Valir - Excuse me, is there anyone here?

Noone replying to his inquiry. Valir continously inquiry 4 more times, so with the first, it's his 5th, but still no reply coming from inside. Weighting which one is better between leave this place or come uninvited, he still choose the latter as his feeling sense something calling for him from the inside. Again, trusting his luck, finally he step into the stall. The brightness isn't really good so his eye need time to adjust. After a moment, finally his eye can see the room more better, which he use as his sign to venture deep inside the stall. Moving to another room, which is the next and last room in the stall, he found nothing in there except one chest in the middle of the room. Thinking maybe it's a treasure chest, he jump into it, and try to open the chest. The chest is easily open, and when looking inside, what he found only a piece of cube lying there.

Valir - Huh?? What is this cube?? Is it like some kind of treasure, sys?

System - *analyzing* .......No, host.

Valir - ??? Then why it was inside the chest?? It must be something important to be saved in there right?

System - ....Yes.

Valir - Then what is it??

System - That is something host need to unveil by host own effort.

Valir - ......F*******KKKK!!!!! WHAT USE OF IT IF EVEN I DOESN'T KNOW WHAT IS IT!!!!????

System - ...or host just need to wait for specific amount of time before it's reveal anything.

Valir - ....what??

System - Host can check the timer in the back of the cube.

Valir - *turn the cube* ??? Wao, there's really a timer here. It show the number of 3. Hmmm??? What's the meaning of it??

System - Host need to think about it yourself.

Valir - ....Damn. Well, let's wait for a minute. You said before that this is a timer, so a few second has passed and it's still show 3. If not second, maybe it shows minute?? Count down for 1 minute, sys.

Valir - Hmmm, it's not minute too, maybe hour?? Let's just countdown first, and in the meantime, I'll start hunting food again. I'm starting to get hungry.

Finally leaving that stall, after he walks forward a few meters, suddenly he is curious about that stall. Turning back his head, what he see is a lively food stall unlike the previous. Confused, he walks back to the stall to see it. The furniture is exactly the same, even the placement is the same. Looking around, everything is the same as previous stall. He wants to see wether the chest is there, but got blocked and kicked out from the stall for wanting to enter private room for the chef a.k.a the kitchen.

Valir - Am I enter another dimension from there??

System - ......

Valir - Artemis, did you see the stall before right??

Artemis - Ehhmmm, nope, when you enter the stall for the first time, I can't follow you inside. That's the same for darling and that girl.

Orion - Yeah, we suddenly lost connection to you right after you enter the stall for the first time. Thinking something bad happened to you, I almost want to blow up this stall.

Artemis - That's right. Well even though we lost connection to you, but we still know that you are alive so I knock some sense into darling~~

Orion - *shudder*

Valir - ...Wao, I really didn't think that I will get into another dimension for a while. And why don't you tell me, you damn system??

System - System analyze that there's no need to alert host as system sense nothing that will harm host in that place.

Valir - .......Well, let's just forget about it and search for food for real.
