~12~ HOGWART RULES
When Hermione first woke up she couldn't figure out where she was. Slowly she remembered last night. Yes, she was finally in Hogwarts.
She immediately emptied her truck and went to the bathroom after choosing her clothes. She quickly wore her school uniform after showering and brushing her teeth.
After putting her books on the shelf, she hung the clothes in the closet. She was lucky that she did not have to worry about ironing or cleaning because of the enchantments. When she went down to the common room, she couldn't see anyone around. She immediately chose a book of her interest from the bookcase next to the fireplace and sat on one of the seats. After a while, upper-class students started to go down.
"Good morning," said a blonde girl, smiling. "You're early. Breakfast will be ready in half an hour, do you want to come with us?" she asked.
"Thank you for your offer. Why not? I'm used to waking up with the first light of the morning. Do you know when the lessons begin?" Hermione asked.
"You won't have a lot of lessons because you are first class, only the main lessons. So your first lesson starts at 9:30 am - 10:00 am. Don't worry. Professor Flitwick (our head of house) will deliver the curriculum. You can also find announcements and the questions shared on the board, it hangs on the wall between the stairs. " She said while pointing and she brought a book from the bookcase and started reading it.
"Thank you," Hermione said, and walked over to the board after replacing the book.
The school rules in the booklet, which were given when purchasing their books, were written on the board as well there were only minor differences so Hermione started reading the rules:
Rules of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
1. First years who answer questions for the first lessons correctly earns 10 points whichever houses they belong.
2. Each correct answer will be awarded 5 to 10 points by professors and with each wrong answer, 5-10 points will be deducted.
3. Bullying is prohibited. Those who fight and bully if caught will cause 10 to 15 points to be deducted in case it`s proven that spell are used 20 to 50 points will be deducted.
4. 5 points will be deducted for taking library books out of the castle without permission.
5. 5 points will be awarded each students helping their classmates for practical courses.
6. Between 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. students are forbidden to leave house rooms. 20 to 50 points will be deducted if caught wondering corridors or castle by stuffs and prefect.
7. Students will be deducted 10 points for being late to their classes without a permit (except the first years' first class)
8. All professors should be respected and 10 points will be deducted for insulting teacher.
9. Winner of Quidditch will be awarded by 200 points, runner ups 150 points, third house 100 points and the fourth house 50 points.
10. Winner House of House Cup will be awarded privileges the next year till the end of the year.
They will be exempted from curfew for extra one (11:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. for the winner house). They can read books from restricted shelves in the library with the permission of the professor. Each member of the house has a right to be exempted from any exam or homework for once and will not lose points and have an average passing mark for their exam or homework. Quidditch team can reserve training grounds for Fridays. (Be warned those privileges will be lost next year if not used )
And so on the rules were going on. It was nearly time for breakfast and Hermione with others went to the great hall but it was deserted and only some Hufflepuffs and Slytherins were in the hall, no Gryffindors.
Professor Flitwick came to their table and gave their curriculum. Hermione quickly looked at it and focused on today's courses:

According to the schedule they had nine lessons and three joint lessons with each house. Potions, flying and Charms with Hufflepuffs; DADA, Magical Theory and Astronomy with Slytherins and Herbology, History of Magic and Transfiguration with Gryfinndors. An interesting year is waiting for them. As she thought about future she kept eating her breakfast and then returned her room for preparing the first day.
