Going Places 3

After going through a long road filled with trees, they entered a barren land.

They stopped a wall that stretched for miles.

Surprisingly, a lot of people are queueing on one side of the wall. It actually looked like refugees going through the borders except everyone had an excited look and cameras were hanging by their necks.

Yue looked at Ker questioningly, but Ker only smirked and walked by the entrance.

They bypassed the line and was admitted through a separate passage.

As Yue passed through the passage, she almost thought she was in heaven.

It was like a different world altogether.

In front of her was like a vast expanse of land that goes forever.

Walking in the midst was like getting lost in the sky.

A salty breeze assaulted her senses.

Kil was like a lost child looking everywhere.

"This is a salt field around 10000 square kilometers, during summer it looked like a land covered with plates of snow but after some rain, it would look like what we're seeing right now.

It was like a large mirror reflecting the sky.

It was a seeming heaven on earth.

I brought you here because this place gives me the feeling that everything is limitless, that there's always a lot of space to work with, and that ideas can run endless" Ker arrived by Yue's side silently and began to explain the significance of the place.

Yue couldn't agree more.

She felt so free just by staring at the vastness but also a bit small and alone.

But the place looks so surreal, that she could enjoy staying there for a long time without getting tired of admiring its unbelievable beauty.

ATVs are available for rentals if one wanted to explore the place.

They rented two and had Kil sit with Ker. Although the little one was pouting at first not being able to ride with his big sister, in the end he was drowned in excitement going all over the plane.

Yue also took several photos of the place, taking it from different angles. Some of the photos includes Kil while he's playing, even Ker's with his frown while watching over Kil.

They spent almost the whole morning playing with the salt field.

Afterwards they took their lunch, rest for a while and drove to the airport.

"Didn't expect you to be generous for this field trip. Say where are we going next?" Yue can't help but anticipate for their next stop.

"Seriously, we're doing this for work and not for some vacation" Ker reprimanded.

"Tsk, isn't it good to enjoy working, that way I'd be more efficient" Yue retaliated proudly.

"Yeah right" Ker unexpectedly rolled his eyes at her.

Yue giggled.

"Hey, I'll just buy some water. Would you like some, or maybe snacks?" Yue asked Ker before setting out.

"I'm good and don't go anywhere else, we're about to board the plane" Ker was actually a nagger without Kiro. It's no wonder they're brothers. Don't get tricked with his meek look.

"Yes boss" Yue scurried away. She didn't ask for Kil, the little guy was already napping.

Yue didn't go far just a turn from where they are waiting. She stood in front of a vending machine and while waiting she heard a low conversation.

What got her attention was when she heard the man mention crest, but it's not an uncommon word so she didn't really eavesdrop since it was not her business.

She want back as soon as she got her bottled water.

They arrived at their next location after an hour of plane ride. They rented a car and drove through a series of palm trees. They're actually going to the beach.

They rented a small cabin with two rooms.

They were surrounded by pristine white sands, and tropical flowers.

Not far from the cabin is the deep blue ocean with peaceful waves rolling gently by the shore.

Yue settled in one room and tried to look for Ker only to find out that he knocked down in bed.

Well it can't be helped, he actually hadn't had his daily dose of sleep the whole day.

Yue thought that although the beach was beautiful but it doesn't seem like it will fit the purpose of their trip.

She looked up in the internet and her interest soared when she learned that after sunset, bioluminescent algae will bloom throughout the coast and light it up in sparkling blue color.

Yue can imagine, during the fashion festival, every light would be turned off, then amidst the silence, a soft clacking of the heels will sound out. Every step will light up the ground. The dress worn by the model will gradually take form by the glittering blue lights.

Yue can't believe that Country C have so much to offer.

She missed a lot in her last life, good thing she was given a second chance.

Yue brought Kil with her and they walked barefooted to feel the sand and they also tried to build sand castles.

Before sunset, the two of them was drenched with sweat and ocean water.

Yue dragged Kil to a department store inside the resort and purchased some clothes.

They also passed by a cafe and ordered a take away for the three of them.

While waiting for their order, Yue left Kil to obediently stay by their table as she excused herself to go to the restroom.

As she passed by the men's restroom, she heard a familiar voice.

"You've got to be kidding me, by tonight Yyan Crest would be no more" that arrogant voice wasn't restrained. The owner probably thought that he was in a soundproofed room.

Actually, it was not easy to hear the conversation, it's just that Yue's ears are more sensitive than other people so she can make out the details. But she's not liking what she's hearing at the moment.

Yue almost had the urge to pounce on to the man, but she kept her calm and continued to eavesdrop.

"Those fools, they didn't know that my old man had long planted one of our people to their group. Every step they took was already known to us"

"Yeah, it's too bad that we didn't manage to get them yesterday, but the operation later would definitely bring them straight to hell"
