Counting on Favor

Yue didn't know how long had passed when she finally opened her heavy lidded eyes.

She can feel the soft mattress under her back.

She thought it was a bit airy and realized that she was only wearing a thin piece of clothing.

Yue momentarily panicked. The scene on her last life flashed through her mind.

She was all too familiar with this kind of setting and the heat that is beginning to course through her veins.

Why do people always want to ruin her reputation? Don't they have other novel ideas?

Yue gathered her will. She wanted to live. She didn't want to just throw away her life without fighting like she did in her last life.

She tried to slow down her heart beat. She didn't know how martial artists do it but she just tried to calm down. This is to slow down the effect of drug.

He saw her reach for the vase and broke it, he frowned.

Was he wrong? Was she intending to end her life? That was a disappointment.

When he saw her stabbing her hand, he smiled.

Not long after, five men flooded the room.

Anyone who knew Yyan well knew how frightening he was at the moment.

His silence was piercing.

"I managed to track down their route until they disappeared at the corner of 5th street. All their traces were erased afterwards" Shuuei felt bitter. The other party had a powerful hacker and his skill was not up to par.

"Get me Xion"

Yyan said in a low voice.

"At once" Ruyi didn't hesitate to dial the number.

Shuuei can't believe that Yyan would use the favor he got from Xion.

Shuuei didn't know what Yyan did, but he actually extracted a free service from the man and now he is using it just to simply track his sister's whereabouts. Just how much did he hold Yue in his heart? If people would discover what he had just done, they would surely curse him til his eighteenth generation of how wasteful can he be.

Shuuei hoped that nothing happens to Yue else Yyan would surely be destroyed. He could almost guess that that could be the goal of their enemy this time. He saw the same fear reflected on Ruyi's eyes.

He was not there when Yyan had gone berserk, but Ruyi disclosed the details vividly that he can't help but shiver just imagining the scene. His friend had gone insane; fortunately, Yue was still alive therefore he can still retrieve himself. What about now? Almost an hour and a half had passed and a lot of things can already happen.

Ruyi handed the phone to Yyan once the call got through.

"Heh, finally willing to ask for my help?" a sarcastic remark flew across from the other line.

"I need you to locate my sister" Yyan didn't mind Xion's attitude and got straight to the point.

"Woi, are you serious? You know you can't get my help that easily and you're just using it to locate your sister. Are you nuts!?" Xion felt insulted. How can a favor from a genius like him be used just like this?

"It's for me to decide where to use it and for you to fulfill your promise"

Yyan's tone was laced with undisguised threat.

"Tsk. I still have my pride. Consider this as a bonus so you still have your one favor from me. I already sent the location to your device. I have disabled the electricity in their place including their backups. Bye" Xion was not idling while he was talking with Yyan. He wouldn't tell a soul that he slightly feared the man. Besides, he really owed Yyan big time. But he thought it would be interesting if he could meet the little lady that can make the man lost his bearing.

Yyan was not even relieved after hearing the information. In fact, he was more worried. Why did Xion have to cut off their electricity. It means that something bad is already happening to Yue and he just extended her an olive branch. But for how much Yue can utilize that help also depends on his own capability to reach her as soon as possible.
