Nicole and others left Flux alone with her father, even Franco who was twitching on the ground were being carried by the men in black.

Flux sat beside Jason while examining his injury and when he looked closely, he can't help but wonder just how lucky Jason is.

When Jason was shot, the bullet was 5 centimeters apart from his heart. Jason's luck is truly once in a blue moon.

Then, Flux frowned for a bit when he was going to cast a tier-one magic heal type. His dantian doesn't have magic energy left because it has been used up by torturing Franco.

After Flux felt the familiar energy inside his dantian, he sat beside Jason and hovered his right hand just above where Jason's injury.

"Tier-One Magic: Regenerate"

Flux chanted and his hands shone with a green light enveloping the body of Jason.

After five minutes, Flux stopped and the green light faded. He stood up and sat on the couch which was not far away from Jason and waited for him to wake up.

After several minutes, Jason slowly opened his eyes. Flux immediately noticed Jason and then he called Nicole to come.

When Nicole appeared inside the room, she immediately approached her father and cried with a grievance.

"I-I'm sorry, It's dad's fault." Jason weakly said to Nicole.

Nicole shook her head because she knew that her father was also having a hard time at that time.

"Dad, this is someone I met and he is also the one who healed you," Nicole said to his father while pointing at Flux.

Flux stood up from the couch and approached them and said, "Hello, Mr. Jason. My name is Flux and I and your daughter had a deal if I save you. Since you are in good health, it is time for you to repay it. Shall we start?"

Jason looked at the scary masked man and turned his head to Nicole to seek confirmation.

Jason saw his daughter nodded and asked Flux, "What's the payment?"

"Your daughter." Flux blurted unconsciously.

Nicole's face turned red, but his father quickly replied, "No way! I can give you anything but not my daughter."

This made Nicole happy but she was afraid of Flux getting angry so she said immediately, "Father that's our de-"

"You are my only daughter so how can I give you as a payment chip?" Jason spoke to Nicole, then turned his head to Flux, "I can give you all my money but please, not my daughter."

Flux stared at them indifferently, and then he said, "I was just kidding. I need you to follow my command if I want your help. Right, Nicole?"

Jason looked at her daughter and saw her biting her lip and nodded and he spoke with a sigh, "Fine."

Flux nodded and said, "Close your eyes."

Flux saw Jason closing his eyes and immediately touch his forehead and muttered,

"Imprint!"

Jason felt a searing pain on his forehead but also his soul and screamed, a mysterious symbol that looks like a temple suddenly appeared in his forehead.

Then, he heard a mysterious yet awe-inspiring voice.

"You are the first Everlasting Mystery member on this planet. To become a member is your greatest fortune, but it is also filled with dangers. As a member, there will be countless missions that will be available in the future. You will earn points if you've completed a mission and the points that you received will be used as a payment fee if you will buy something."

"You only need to think [Everlasting Mystery: Mission] if you wish to earn points. You also need to think [Everlasting Mystery Shop] if you wish to buy something. [Everlasting Mystery: Message] if you wanted to check if someone sent a message to you. [Everlasting Mystery: Information] if you wanted to check information.

"Remember, do not ever try to betray the Everlasting Mystery or else we will annihilate each of your family, friends, and even your lineage....remember.....remember.....REMEMBER!"

Jason was lost to the mysterious yet awe-inspiring voice but suddenly, in the last part, the voice sounds like screaming while also telling him to never betray. It made his heart chilled when he heard the word 'lineage annihilation'.

"Father? Father? Are you alright?" Nicole asked while shaking his father, tears spill from her eyes.

When Nicole saw Jason being touched by Flux in his forehead, his father stopped moving while Flux was just calmly sitting back on the couch.

"What did you do to my Father?! We already accepted our deal!" Nicole shouted to Flux and cried.

"What are you crying for? Your father is alright, he's just absorbing information." Flux said irritatedly.

Jason finally escaped from those awe-inspiring voice that makes him unable to escape, and he saw his daughter sobbing again.

When he looked at the masked man on the couch, and he suddenly felt the urge to kneel and started to wonder whether he was the mysterious voice in his head.

"Go and find out by yourself first and if you wanted to ask me, then you can go to the message. Do you understand?" Flux spoke and stared at Jason.

Nicole felt displeased by how Flux was talking to his father, but Jason replied, "Okay!"

Nicole wanted to speak but was stopped by Jason, in fact, Jason also wanted to check whether everything is true. He saw something in the Everlasting Mystery Shop where he can gain a healing power, it also cost little amount around 50 points.
