Chapter Sixty Three Reunited (Part 2)

Noah was having to use both his hands to brush the "baby" dragons snout, his feet had sunk into the ground a couple of feet at this point and it looked like just the bottom of his body had been eaten by the ground.

Feeling the aura in the area being dense he could barely keep from laughing at Aurelius' growth - from his body to his aura it felt like he had been separated years from him. Aurelius open his jaw wide and a pink tongue came out soaking Noah in saliva before licking him up out the ground and lifting him into the air.

Aurelius' breath was a mixed smell of fresh blood and wet cat hair which made Noah's stomach turn. "Aurelius, what are you doing here?! Shouldn't you be with Alaric? How did you get here?!" He asked while managing to keep the smell off his mind.

The dragon slowly backed away but kept its shining eyes on him as it did, letting out a small roar and turning its head side to side. Noah could only smile and watch Aurelius do his best but not managing to talk to him, he suddenly felt a thick aura reach through to him and felt a connection like he had with Hallan whenever they talked.

Roar after roar came from the grey dragon through the link that they had, they weren't words but Noah could feel a meaning behind them. The connection felt like it gave him a rough meaning but barely enough to understand, all he could understand was that with each roar an image of Alaric floating along the clouds with him.

Noah fell backwards over the dirt that had surrounded him, he couldn't believe what he had seen. Their consciousness being able to share images isn't something that he had ever been taught so he hadn't ever heard that he would be able to do that.

Aurelius chest bounced up and down after watching Noah fall on his back. His neck extended and wrapped around Noah pulling him into a tight hold like he would do when he was smaller. Noah just let it happen and gently rubbed the side of the dragon's neck, their feelings passing through to each other at how they felt.

While they celebrated a new roar echoed through the woods, Noah could feel a similarity to it. The roar made Aurelius tighten his hold around Noah while his eyes flashed around the sky looking for the dragon that it had come from.

The dragon clenched its claws into the ground as it finally pinned the direction of the roar, baring his teeth and letting out a small growl. Vibrations could be felt against Noah's skin that wasn't being protected by Aurelius.

From a gap in the trees, Noah could see a glint of blue against the sky that had turned a hue of dark red from the sun rising. His hair blew and covered his face, his body being crushed between his bonds neck. A giant blue dragon had come down from the sky and threw Aurelius to the other side of the clearing, over the body of the hog and into some of the trees.

Aurelius let out a loud growl at the attacking dragon, moving his forelegs so he was facing his opponent. Stretching his neck out so he would look bigger while trying to check Noah was okay after rolling from out of his neck to the ground beside a tree.

The two dragons faced each other, Noah managed to push himself up onto his elbows and look at the dragon that had thrown his bond across the clearing without any troubles. His eyes opened wide, his mouth opening to shout something before realising something else, just behind the dragon Isan was laying on his back. His head up facing Noah with blood coming out of his nose and ears, slowly dripping down his face.

Noah was about to shout at his bond to stop when Hallan raised his wings up wide and forced them down causing a huge wind to hit the trees, Aurelius and himself. Forced back onto his back, snapping a few sticks he could only watch as Aurelius used his wings to cover his face and body, making the wind go around him and forcing more onto Noah.

The wind rushing over his face made it hard to breathe in air, his sight turned blurry and all he could say was a grey blop turn and look at him before letting out a roar loud enough that Isan fainted again.

------------------

Aurelius tightened his grip to the ground with his claws, forcing his wings to stretch up as high as they could while being steady enough to force the blown wind around his body. Letting out a growl for warning and using his aura to try and oppress the blue dragon but it had little effect as he couldn't concentrate properly.

Hallan pushed his wings down harder and to stop this from affecting himself, Aurelius, turned his wings to face away from Hallan and use the wind to help push him up into the air through the trees and into the red sky.

Noah could barely breathe to say anything as Aurelius flapped against the wind and flew off. Hallan didn't wait around to speak to Noah and flew up through the clearing and chased him into the sky, his eyes finding the grey dragon with ease. Aurelius was already just a foot smaller than what Hallan would be in size, the only way he could hide from the blue dragon would have been to fly as high as he could and try and use the clouds for cover.

Hallan rushed the grey dragon who had flown across the forest to a plain with a small lake, who had turned as if to accept that it couldn't run away. Steadily beating his wings and floating over the river.

Aurelius forced his aura to fill himself to build his strength up, he had learned it while watching Noah train for months. He had only tried it once Noah left but he had a rough grasp of it; from Hallan's point of view, the grey dragon had aura leaking out of his body but didn't seem to really know how to use it which wasn't normal for a dragon his size.

The blue dragon forced his aura around him creating a blue ball of light and had it circling him, acting as a protective layer.
