She just stood there, what could she really do? Did she actually want to help him capture an animal that shouldn't exist? Yet, she had given her word and her word was just as good as shackle. Professor Jay did teach her that "Your word is your bond, if you agree to do something then you should keep your word so you didn't come across as a liar." Akaisha could only sigh softly.
"So, how do you want me to proceed in catching it?" She looked over at him with disgust etched in her features. She knew he could see it but he chose to ignore it anyway.
"Use your telepathy to speak with it then force him to let you touch him so you can teleport him."
Akaisha looked back at the scared defensive animal and could only feel overwhelming hurt for it but she did almost everything he asked of her. Normally, in a situation to relay a message she would close her eyes to concentrate but with dangerous animal and man near her she did her best to focus with her eyes open.
"Can you hear me? What do you wish to be called?"
The animal looked startled to hear a voice inside of its head. It was becoming even more agitated because of this. Akaisha refused to look away.
"I don't want to hurt you. I know he created you. I know you are just an experiment to him. Will you tell me what you want and I will do my best to make sure that you get it?"
The thing tilted it's head at her, she could hear what it's thoughts where.
"How can you understand me? Why did he create me? Will I ever be free? Why am I like this? Am I good? Will he use me to be a weapon? Can I really trust you? Aren't you just like him?"
Just hearing the sadness and confusion in his voice caused her to take a step. A small step to show she was going to give him his space.
"I understand. Everything that you feel, I felt myself when I was a child." She held out her hand like she did with Blue when they were getting acquainted. "I was thrown away by my family and this ... I'll say idiot 'rescued' me, but he experimented with me too. That's why I can talk with you. Tell me what do you want?"
"I want to be free. Free to die."
"I don't think you should be free to die. But I do think that you should be free. He may have created you for some nefarious purpose but you can live the way you want to." She kept getting closer and closer to the animal. "What can I call you? Do you have a name?"
"If being called experiment 145jms can be classified as a name then that is what I am called."
"Then let's give you a better name. My rare dog is called blue. Her fur is so gray it's practically a shade of blue. With your body and beautiful eyes, I want to call you Red Mist, Red for short."
Professor Jay watched how the two of them were enthralled in a seemingly deep conversation. He couldn't understand what was taking place but a strange feeling came over him. It was as if Akaisha was plotting something. He wanted to believe she wouldn't cross him after all he has her dog, but with how she hated him with every fiber in her being he knew she wouldn't hesitate to steal from him. "Remember this is my experiment and you need to bring it back to the cage."
"He wants me to bring you back to the cage but I have a plan. Will you trust me? I know it maybe hard to do considering your creator and how he is using me to trap you but I want you and Blue to be with me. Will you trust me?"
Red didn't answer but only nodded it's head. Professor Jay say that movement and began to walk towards it. Akaisha was just a little bit closer to it than him. She ran forward, wrapping her arms around it's neck and teleported them back to where Blue was. The assistant was attempting to sedate Blue. Seeing that caused her to throw fire at him. His lab coat was flame retardant. A brief thought made her wonder what they were actually doing in this secret lab.
Once Blue seen Akaisha it lunged at the man's arm biting down on the wrist her jaws stayed there as the man was trying to fight her off. Akaisha had to find the tracker off of Red so that they all could leave. With the man distracted and Professor Jay not around she used her vision to spot the device on him. She never tried to teleport something without touching it but there was always a first for everything.
