Pt. Seven

I got off the floor and quickly pushed the door open a bit more with all my might, and slipped through the crack, as soon as I stopped putting pressure on the door it snapped shut, destroying the book that I used to prop it open, I gulped loudly when I realized that it could have been me caught between thoughts metal doors. I looked around and saw no one, so I began to walk in the direction I know the library to be in. Since I was already breaking the rules by leaving the room I might as well check out some new reading material for myself. I tiptoed to the bend in the hall and looked around it, two men were talking as they walked away from me. I saw many more people as I tried to find the library, only one younger boy seemed to see me, but he also appeared to have disbelief in his face, and I quickly disappeared into a room filled with work desks and I hide underneath one. It wasn't long before the door opened and a set of footfalls could be heard slowly entering the room.

"Hello?" Rang out a timid voice, "Is there... a female in here?" The second part was said very quietly, almost as is the boy really didn't want to be heard. I bet it would be odd to see a woman on a ship like this, with a crew of only men.

"I knew I was seeing things, I have been on this ship for far too long, I can not wait to get home to my brothers." The young man let out a sign and walked from the room. I wasn't a fool like Rek' Sai said earlier, I waited for a few minutes before I even stood from my hiding place, I took my time crossing the room to get to the door, and placed my ear against it, looking for signs of people moving on the other side. When I heard no such signs, I slipped out and headed quickly in the direction fo the library.

After many close calls, I made it there. I believed that a ship full of warriors would have little interest in books, but the walls were high and the room was filled with texts and tome. And also about ten large men of white or grey skin tone, scattered throughout the room shifting through the books I had wanted to touch. If I entered that room I would be caught, I'd have to leave and come back later if I wasn't caught. Quietly, I closed the door and began wandering through the halls in an attempt to find something else to do.

Eventually, I wandered into a black hallway that leads to many machines, there wasn't a soul here so I began to look around. I found a little room off to the side that had a table and chairs, I saw there was a food dispenser on the wall, I walked over and decided on something to eat. I'd spent up a lot of my energy running around and hiding from all the people onboard. When the machine dispenses the food I brought it to the table and sat down, I'd only gotten something small, I knew Rek' Sai would be by the room in time for dinner, it was the only meal he always had with me. I started to wonder what time it was when I heard a clunk off in the distance, I listened carefully but no other noises followed so I relaxed once again.

I honestly have to admit that I miss him when he's gone, conversing with him about our planets, out interests, our culture, they consistently made my days enjoyable in this strange place. He was an incredible man, he was promoted to Captian at age 12 due to his merit on the battlefields. His father knowing he wouldn't stay away from the war till he was of age, gave him the power and training to lead their people to victory, keeping him more behind the lines. Since they currently weren't quarreling with another planet they were searching for useful goods and materials, Rek' Sai admits that he was also attempting to find a species that would be compatible for breeding with his own men and that he was shocked that he actually had a possible match materialize at his feet.

My body heated up when I thought of what was meant by breeding, I was concerned about how that would be like, and imagining the lust-filled looks he sometimes gave me cause the spot between my legs to moisten slightly. Suddenly the atmosphere changed, then I heard a growl that seemed to resonate from everywhere. I sprung to my feet and the chair fell to the ground behind me. Looking through the door I saw a smaller white-skinned man walking towards the room, his intent for coming this way was very clear by his face, he knew I was here.

I saw him crouch down as if he planned to run the last bit of distance between us, I turned and grabbed the chair, swinging it as I turned back to face the door. Even though this guy was to levels below Rek' Sai, I was still no match for his speed, he was hit by the chair and it warped the legs badly. The force of the hit caused a shock to my wrist, my grip loosened on the chair and the beast in front of me smiled. He shrugged the chair from his side and it banged against the ground, suddenly he reached for me and he had a vice grip hold on my shoulders before I had any time to react.

"Stop this right now, the Price will kill you for this!" I didn't actually know what Rek' Sai would do to this man when he found out what he was about to do to me. but I was going to try and get out of this in any way I could. "Let me go!"

I screamed as loud as I could, and was rewarded by the man turning me around and pushing me into the wall, with the force he used I knew my face was going to be bruised after this. My head ached from where it hit the wall and my vision went a bit fuzzy, but that didn't take away from the feeling of that mand hands roaming my breast before pulling my pants from my body and spreading my legs. I began to panic, what do I do. I don't want something like this to be my first time, the only reason I was still a virgin at twenty-four is that I never found a man I thought to be worthy. Another scream came free from my throat as he ran a hand up my thigh and freed himself from his cloth.

Tears fell from my eyes as I closed them tightly, do I fight? He'd probably just use more force, and I'd end up even more injured then if I don't resist. There really seemed to be no way out, the only thing I could hear was the loud beating of my own heart, so I didn't notice right away when I could no longer feel his touch. Slowly I opened my eyes, through the tears I saw a blob of silver on a blob of white. I blinked my eyes rapidly as I fell to the floor, I pulled the fabric of my pants back over my body and then wrapped my arms around myself as I watched Rek' Sai roar and beat the man viciously, he didn't stop, not after the man stopped moving, and not after three grey-skinned warriors entered the room and pulled him from the corpse.

He took a few deep breaths and shook his head, his gaze snapping to mine where I looked up at him from the floor with wide eyes. He walked to me and bent down as small as he possibly could in front of me "Emilie, Are you okay? Did I make it in time? When you were not in our room I assumed the worse, but to find you like that." He growled. Anger and disappointment crossed his face, I didn't want him to think it was his fault that I'd almost gotten hurt.

"Rek' Sai, don't leave me alone again." I threw my arms around the half-naked warrior in front of me and let out many tears. This man has protected me every step of the was so far, I never want to leave his side.
