Book 2: 19

"Mr. President, I didn't know who Calla was in your life. I didn't even know anything about her except for her name and her birthplace. She even insisted I am just one of her life's passersby."

"Liar!" President Ric sneered, and his sharp gaze made me hold my breath. "Why did you keep her in your place? Why did you spend so much to look for her? And why did you let her come after you in Hawaii?"

A heavy weight ran over my chest when I heard him. Before I could draw out my conclusion, President Ric spelled it out for me.

"While your wife was asleep, or out on her activities, you were also indulging in pleasure with another woman."

Sean's color drained as he looked stunned at the president's revelation."Your woman is a bitch!"

The president's stare turned lethal at Sean, its glare pierced into my core, tearing me down. He stood up abruptly, slamming a fist into the table. The glass hissed and crackled; the trace of its broken surface turned into a wide map, forming a spider web pattern.

"How dare you call her that! She deserves the kind of respect I am having."

"When we first meet, I offered to get serious with the short bond we were having. However, she refused, hid from me, and you know the rest of the story. Now, that I have moved on, and have lived a perfect life with my wife, she's there sticking like a leech, following even my faint shadow!"

"My woman is a decent lady. How dare you ruin her image in front of me!" President Ric hurled his trembling finger at me, his eyeballs bulging out of his sockets.

"Because what I am saying is true, and I'm so sick and tired of her drama!"

"And do you think I am not telling the truth? Let your wife be the judge!"

He grabbed his laptop forcefully, letting his fingers fly into the keyboard. After he got what he wanted to find, he turned the laptop around, its monitor then facing us. After a short while, Calla's image floated in the video. The background then changed into a familiar beach view, then to the facade of the hotel. My heart started to burn as I saw the bold letters of the hotel's name. I began to predict the next scene because that was precisely the hotel Sean and I had booked in Hawaii.

I held my breath when the scene changed into a hotel room. Calla was lying on the bed, wearing bra and panties only. Sean suddenly came in and approached her, sliding her panties down. Pulling down his pants up to his thigh, he then pulled out his raging rod. I bit my lip as I stared at the video, my tears trickling down my cheeks. Calla's groan was like a knife, cutting my heart.

I scrambled to my feet, wanting to run away, but the president's voice cut me. "Stop, right there!"

Scared of his murderous look, I stood pinned on the floor--my knees shaking. "See this."

His fingers danced again into the keyboard, opening another video. The background then showed the view of the hall where we just had our thanksgiving. Then, it slowly moved into the bathroom. The sound of Calla's rapid breathing sliced into my heart again as I watched her sitting on the bathroom's island. She was naked below her waist as she propped her skirt up, opening herself to Sean. Wrapping her arms around Sean's neck, he then opened the zipper of his pants, pulling out only his rock-hard shaft. Soon, both of them danced together into a descending rhythm of sex and lust.

I glanced at Sean, who remained seated in his seat, covering his ears with his hands. His face creased as he shut his eyes tightly, his lips bleeding against the force of his teeth.

"You're a beast, Ric Abella! You appeared like a lamb before the people's eyes, deceiving the wolf that is ruling inside your head!"

President Abella let out a burst of maniacal laughter, turning his beastly demeanor into a jovial mood.

"Who is more devilish between the two of us, Mr. Grey? You successfully lured Dr. Red into your trap, making her believe you are a harmless puppy. How many times did you say you love her, even if in your heart, it is still my woman you are keeping."

"And what's your opinion regarding Calla's sticking back to Eric, Mr. President? Isn't she a whore who jumps from one man to another and back to her ex while flirting with someone else's husband?"

I didn't know what happened to me. The truth was already slapping me, but I still got the courage to defend Sean.

"Don't be blind, my dear. I already throw her out of my life. Who would want a woman by your side at night who is conceiving another man's child?"

I then remembered Sean saying that Calla left the president because their illicit love affair has caused him trouble with his wife and children. Aside from that, he had to restore his image before the public's eye, or else, it will affect his coveted candidacy.

"He is your child, Mr. President," I yelled in conflicted emotion because I knew that the trump cards already belonged to the president.

The president broke into a wicked laugh again, sending shivers down my spine.

"Be realistic, dear. Why not think of those times when you felt it in your heart that something bad is going on in another room?"

I knew that the president meant Calla's room next to Sean. However, my thoughts went back to the night I had been waiting long for Sean from his surfing lesson. We were in Hawaii at that time, spending our honeymoon.

The moment he opened the door, something in his expression disturbed me. He couldn't look at me in the eye.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked, throwing my arms around his neck.

"I am tired. The waves are unusually high today," he answered, dropping his body on the bed. I pulled my brows together; Sean had always been caring and gentle with me. Ignoring his rejection when he did not return my hug, throwing himself on to the bed, instead, I climbed on top of him. I rained kisses on his face down to his neck while grinding my crotch against his genitals.

"Babe, I'm tired," he said, closing his eyes.

I did not listen. I slid his pants down, then started nibbling the head of his manhood. I did not know if it was just my blunt sense of smell, but I felt an unusual smell. It was like someone else's mouth was closing on his a short while ago. When he sensed my reaction, he sat up and lifted me, cuddling me tight against his body.

"Not today, babe!"

Realizing that this suspicion was true after all, now that the president spelled it out to me, I ran out of the room. Never did I expect that on that day, I was also running out of Sean's life!
