Death Hazard!

60 minutes earlier, South Eden Fortress. The high commander was looking through the documents on Rick's past few arrestments on his holographic wrist computer while taking care of his other duties as commander of the fortress. Then his eyes turned to the window from where he saw a large ship with four mechanical arms bringing over the remains of satellite that fell over the past few weeks.

A man walked in the room bringing the reports. "Commander, we inspected the remains found in the ocean and at least 70% can be reused to make weapons and ships. As for the beasts, we've found the concentration of beasts has decreased a lot these past few weeks, and the other fortress are reporting the same."

After reading the report, the golden-haired male had a tense expression. Since humanity fell a thousand years ago, Eden was constantly facing a horde or two every day, he didn't know what they were planning, and it was impossible to leave this be when there is not a trace of a beast in the surroundings.

"Just tell everyone to stay ready. We may be having a great horde coming soon." The four fortress were one of the most important defense lines, the sea beast god may be neutral, but it didn't mean the other sea beast would be too. With the setting sun, the orange gold stretches far and wide over the sea when a small group of four soldier were playing a card game when one of them saw a few silhouettes moving closer. The soldier scratched his eyes, thinking he must having been imagining things when he open his once again only to see it was even closer.

"Shit, I draw the wrong card." A young man cursed the deck on his hand while a old veteran drawed a golden-line card with the image of a huge figure bathed in flames and showed to the others.

"The three of you are too young to face your daddy, I have a beast god card with me."

"Oh god..." One of the sighed, and the young man also dropped his cards, "Well, we have lost again. Hey, Carlos why aren't saying anything, still thinking about Lisa?"

Not hearing a reply, his three friends noticed something was off and turned around to see Carlos pointing to the sky, wide-eyed. The three focused their eyes to where he was pointing and their faces was drained of blood turning white.

"Holy Cow!"

"Oh god!"

"What is that?!"

Boom! The four them only saw a flash of black light right in front of them before their bodies were reduced to dust with a loud sound of explosion. Soon, the piecing alarm rang through the entire base, Hearing the alarm from afar, the pale golden-haired man dropped the documents on the ground while thinking it really happened just as he thought.

All the soldiers in the fortress left the buildings and picked their weapons in a organized way before taking their positions and preparing for the battle. Some jumped into the huge flare ray turrets and searched for the source of the comotion only to see there was not a single beast in the fortress.

An female soldier found it strange and rose her rifle while giving a few steps forward and the she turned to the side, his expression changed as she tried to fire the weapon in her hands only to have her body pierced by a streak of black light.

Thud! Her body fell on the cold floor in front of the many soldiers who were drenched in cold sweat. Now they could finally see it, and they could not believe it, it wasn't a beast attacking them but a human.

The person in question was a man standing in the middle of the fortress with all the soldiers surrounding him and pointing their weapons at him. The man wore a tattered white laboratory robes same as the clothes you saw alchemist wearing and both his eyes were painted black like a monster.

"Commander..." A young soldier pulled the pale golden-haired man's sleeves while asking with uncertainty," Is that really a human? he does not seem like he conscious."

The man nod, it did not matter if that figure was human or not. If he invaded the fortress and killed some of the men and women that swore to protect others. Now that he's here, there is no hopes for him to leave now.

"Soldiers, arrest him. If he tries to revolt, them I permit to take his life." The soldier heard the orders and stepped forward while prepared to shot at any time, even the turrets on both sides of the fortress were locked on him. Just as one of the soldier walked next to the female soldier's body, the commander saw a thin black lightning snakes appear around her dead body, but it was too late.

"Gwaa!" Releasing guttural sounds, a hand grabbed the soldier by the feet and pulled him down. Soon one of the lightning snakes bit him and two bodies rose up, both with eyes pitch black and dark lightning moving around their bodies.

"Everyone, open fire!"

"Fuck! kill him, kill him now!"

From high up in the sky, a group of people on board of a red ship marked with the symbol of a golden flame watched the massacre from above. No matter if it was elemental bullets or ray guns, anything that approached would be deflected by the black lightning surrounding him.

"This is really good." A busty woman giggled like seeing the scene where a man was ripped in two by the black lightning before getting up and killing the soldier next him.

"Everything is happening just like we thought. Professor we must thank you for your work to make it possible." A man seating in the honor seat of the table rose his glass of wine to a old man sitting on the opposite side.

"No need. We all knew the amazing power hidden within this natural spirit. I also had help from all of you to make it work, and now I must saw it really makes up for its name as Death Hazard. An elemental spirit capable of raising the dead, now we more than ready to attack Eden."
