Double Date

Amusement park near NangoKuren High School.

Meru was deeply fascinated by the things that she had seen in the park, a huge circle with booths attached to it was spinning at a moderate pace at the side, several carts conjoined together that moved so fast that the humans riding it were screaming in enjoyment.

Because she is a typical neet girl who likes to waste time inside of her house playing games, everything here is brand new for her.

They were obviously the Ferris Wheel and the rollercoaster, they were just one of the few attractions that she saw in the park, instinctive curiosity had enveloped her being. Her eyes were sparkling in wonder and amazement.

Gazing at her, Lou smiled, his expression showcasing his affection, Meru finally looked just like a child in his eyes even though she is already 18 years old, brought forward to the wonders of the outside world for the first time.

She looked exceptionally cute, coupled with her round face, her beauty and appeal mesmerized anyone's heart; he didn't interrupt her nor did he have any thoughts of interrupting her. He wanted her to enjoy the sight as he kept enjoying her time.

Few minutes trickled by, Meru having her fill being lost in the wonderland of imagination snapped back into reality, she was deeply embarrassed for losing herself in her own land of dreams by seeing these attractions.

She was embarrassed at the person beside her, still smilingly looking at her face. "I'm sorry! I-i was just-"

"Still like a kid."

"W-Who is a kid!! I'm just curious, that's all!"

Lou sickness kicked in again, with a soft voice full of tender affection. "Don't worry about it Meru-chan, you can lose yourself in their wonders as long as you want, besides I myself too have a wonderful sight to behold my eyes to in the meantime, and I didn't expect that you have this kind of side too~"

"E-eh?! R-really?" Slightly perturbed at the start it didn't take her long to catch onto what Lou suddenly changed, he had praised her, and quite high at that, a deep blush crept up her neck and dyed her round cheeks reddish.

She blushed profusely at the sudden complement.

"Yeah, a pity ha~… anyways, now that you have snapped back to reality, tell me which attraction would you like to ride first?" He asked.

"I-i get to choose?! Is it really okay?" Meru excitedly asked.

Being a loli who was wasting her life in a dark room playing various fighting games, she did not even know the meaning of the date even though she already searched it on the internet last night.

Her knowledge of it was a boy and a girl going out to a place and having fun, which to some extent was true but it didn't quite explain the romanticism involved in it.

Still, even though she was confused, even though she didn't know half of what she would do on a date, Lou's words made her excited, clear expectations echoed in her voice.

"Of course! Listen here, Meru, even though I'm not the one who invited you on a date, needless to say I have to take care of you and pay heed to your preferences. I want you to have fun, choosing your own way of having fun and if you're able to enjoy this date, have fun and be happy, it'll also make sure you will experience the most exciting date ever you can imagine.."

".....T-then, can we ride that moving cart?!" Meru didn't respond at first, she was just gazing at my face, shock, excitement, tender affection, myriads of emotions all pointing towards the strange emotion that she never felt before

She looked around and excitedly pointed towards the rollercoaster and asked in an almost pleading manner, she really wanted to start with riding the rollercoaster, that much was confirmed.

Just like Lou expected, this girl is an adventure one, she likes exciting and thrilling rides just like the reason she likes fighting games.

"Ah, the rollercoaster huh.. of course, we can, I told you didn't I, today is all about you, we'll do whatever you may desire!" Lou nodded.

While Meru's eyes glazed in excitement and endearment, nodding she immediately dragged him with her to the first attraction they were going to experience, the rollercoaster, Lou led her to the direction of the ticket booth, informing her on the way that they needed tickets to enjoy the rides.

Grabbing the tickets Meru approached Lou with an excited expression as she exclaimed in a childish glee, happy that she was able to accomplish her first task and thrilled for what's to come. "I got it, I got it Lou! Let's ride it now!"

"Yes, yes I can see it now let's go, shall we?"

"Mhm!" Hand in hand, both of them went and entered the waiting line to the rollercoaster ride, as they chatted merrily all the passengers and fellow liners were looking at Meru shocked and in awe of her destructive charm making male for mold to young felt some brand new world open for them.

All in all every single person in the surroundings, be it the passengers, the visitors or the staff were all drawn in to look at Meru and her cuteness, seeing this Lou was thoroughly ignored, even though he could be barely hold his own self, maybe some can't do that, or maybe he need to guard her for unnoticed danger, like perverts and stuff.

Finally the awaited moment came and the roller coaster fell at a staggering speed, the people screamed in a contrasting state of excitement, joy and fear!

Merus was in the group representing excitement and joy, this was if she had to be truthful, nothing compared to when she see it from far, the truth is she was able to enjoy this together with the boy beside her, the exhilaration and fulfillment she was currently feeling was utterly indescribable.

After a few rounds of rolling around, the ride had come to its termination, Merus' excitement and agitation was still present and she threw caution to the wind and exclaimed in a delightful voice. "Lou, let's ride it again!"

"Sure, sure." He couldn't just refuse this cute loli, so they rode it 5 times and finally moved on to other attractions.

After that, they continued on their journey to try more attractions, and so a few hours later, they decided to take a break and eat some food, none of them are actually hungry though.

They went to the amusement park cafeteria, arriving when they found a place to sit down. There were still many tables remaining that could fit 4 to 10 as group people comfortably. After sitting down, they relaxed. They had been on a non-stop journey in between the rides and their muscles had become a little stiff which was able to relax now.

After ordering some cold drinks Lou finally asks.

"So when is your friend going to arrive?"

That's right, this is not a simple date but a double date with Meru's friend as she suggested yesterday.

"Don't worry, I already see her coming towards us."

From far, a tall figure with grey hair tied in twin pigtails comes closer to them, Lou asks," Is that your friend?"

"Yes,"

"Ren?"

"Umm~ "
