Chapter 54 — Toward Heaven Dou City!

"Wake up! Hey!" Yu Feng lightly shook the unconscious Lingling and Dugu Yan to wake up.

The two of them soon woke up from Yu Feng's constant nagging. They looked around in confusion and then remembered what happened to them.

"Did we lost...?" Dugu Yan hesitantly asked.

Yu Feng nodded her head sadly after hearing her question.

"Come and quickly get up! We have to shake their hands for the closing act."

Lingling and Dugu Yan nodded after hearing her words and stood up from the ground.

The Five Otherworldly and the Emperor's soon met with each other at the center of the arena's stage.

The host soon announced the Five Otherworldly Team's victory, causing the spectators to give them a loud applause.

"It was a good match that gave us some vital experiences," Yu Long said while smiling lightly.

He extended his hand toward Yu Tianheng, who quickly grabbed it.

"Likewise," Yu Tianheng replied while shaking Yu Long's hand.

Yu Long then started to shake the hands of the others members of the Emperor's Team and the last one left was Lingling.

Lingling looked at Yu Long who smiled brightly, causing her to lower her face unconsciously.

"It was a rough match and your healing ability made it more hard," Yu Long praised her ability and he extended his hand toward her.

Lingling nodded slightly and quickly shook his hand with her heart beating(?).

The two teams then went outside the stage and Lingling couldn't help, but peeked at the other direction...

"Fantastic!" Lou Shi exclaimed while looking at Yu Long and others.

Yu Long looked at Lou Shi after walking out of the arena stage.

"All of you did a very great job! It seems like your effort and my training are making you guys very strong quickly," Lou Shi commented happily.

"Hmmp! It was a piece of cake!" Fang Lin arrogantly said with his chest raised proudly.

Ji Yu then flicked Fang Lin's forehead and reprimanded him, "Don't get too cocky, Fatty!"

Fang Lin rubbed his forehead and glared intensely at Ji Yu.

Yu Long smiled seeing this and then noticed the teacher of the Emperor's Team approaching Lou Shi.

The two of them silently talked for abit and Lou Shi looked at her students.

"You guys go back to the hotel and get some rest first. I have things to discuss with this man," Lou Shi said toward them.

Yu Long and the others nodded their heads and went back toward the hotel.

The sky was dyed completely black and the blue moon hanged on the horizon.

Yu Long and the others returned back to their hotel with a very worn-out and haggard look.

Yu Long was the only with his complexion being okay.

"Ahh~ I'm so tired," Fang Lin yawned tiredly.

"Before you go to the bed, make some of your energizing foods first," Ji Yu requested with her head placed on the table.

"Sure, sure," Fang Lin sighed tiredly and went toward the Hotel's Kitchen.

Hu Yu sat next to Ji Yu while patting her head. Her eyes were closed as she was doing a visual training.

Yu Long was sitting next to the window and looked at the starry night with a longing look.

Xiao Yi just silently stared at him and felt her heart going cloudy.

Time passed slowly; Fang Lin went out of the kitchen while bringing many foods to the table.

"This smells greater than usual," Yu Long said while smelling the intense aroma coming out from the many foods.

"My cooking technique recently advanced so

the dishes I made had increase in taste by a whole new level."

The four then praised and congratulated Fang Lin, causing him to rub his head in embarrassment even with his thick skin.

Yu Long and the others started to eat Fang Lin's dishes, causing a heavenly taste to overwhelmed their taste buds.

All of them were intoxicated into a dreamland.

A refreshing and revitalizing energy soon spread throughout their body, causing their fatigue lessen and clearing their mind.

They soon quickly finished the whole servings that Fang Lin made, causing their complexion lightening.

"Although you're a shameless and a fool, I have to admit you're a greet cook," Ji Yu said, patting her stomach.

"Oh I see, is that so? Do you want me to never cook some foods for you?" Fang Lin said while crossing his arms together.

Ji Yu's eyes widened after hearing that, "No! I'm sorry! You're the most handsome and cool looking Fatty I have ever seen!"

This remarks of her earned some few chuckles from her usual cold and quiet sister, Hu Yu.

As they were bickering with each other, Yu Long noticed Lou Shi arriving back at the hotel.

"What did you discuss with that guy?" Yu Long asked curiously.

Lou Shi looked at him and answered, "He said he would like to make you guys an exchange student on their academy to make you fight at the continental tournament."

"Did you accept?"

Lou Shi shrugged her shoulder, "I'm still not sure, but we can check their academy since I heard they have a huge amount of resources and influence."

"What's the continental tournament?" Xiao Yu abruptly asked in confusion.

"It's a tournament where all of the students from many elite academy scattered around the world will compete with each other. It will be held exactly one year from now on," Lou Shi explained slowly.

Xiao Yi then nodded her head in understanding.

"Will we join the tournament?" Yu Long asked.

"Yes! And during this one year, I will train you guys harshly because I will not accept any defeat!" Lou Shi said extremely loud.

Yu Long and the others nodded and shouted at the same time, "For Our Glorious Victory!"

They soon went to their bed after that because they needed to be in their optimal condition for tommorow.

And a few days later, all of them soon arrived at the Heaven Dou City...

Today's chapter is not good in quality because I'm feeling very sick. I will take some break to recover.

I'm 14 and I don't know why i get easily sick ;-;
